DESCRIPTION
Hi Alex,
Here's details of your Skyline GT-T! Thanks for all your patience, The search is over and we can shortly begin to think about and change the way this car looks as discussed!!
2000 (July) Skyline ER34 GT-Turbo. Dark Blue Metallic. Tiptronic Auto.
Standard specification dealer fitted optional extras include the following: Power Steering, Power Windows, ABS, Traction Control, Xenon headlights with height adjustment by remote control, Electric mirrors with retract mode, side wind deflectors, fitted mats, Hicas 4 wheel steering, centre console gauges, Climate controlled air conditioning, etc.
Upgraded parts include: Addzest high quality CD/MD/Radio unit with 200W of power. A Blitz multi display unit is also fitted which can be used for measuring water temp, as well as the cars speed, etc. Also fitted is a turbo timer, although please note this may not work with an alarm fitted in the UK> Also, as it's actually illegal to leave a car running unattended in the UK, this part muct be removed when SVA testing the car. The ECU has been reprogrammed by Impul, to give more fuel, greater boost and better performance. A high flow down pipe is fitted, as is a Legalis Evolution R stainless steel exhaust. There's an earthing kit too - to help keep spark plug performance as effective as possible. Suspension has also been upgraded with Impul revalved shocks with 25mm lowered and uprated springs. Ride is firm yet not harsh. Seems a near perfect setup for use on roads. Wheels are Rays Gram Lights, complete with good quality performance tyres (nearly new) of 17" size. Also fitted beneath the bonnet is a brake master cylinder brace, which will enhance braking feel. In the boot there's a Cusco strut brace fitted. In the front, there's a standard Nissan item.
Driving: Suspension is excellent. No noises when being used. Performance is excellent too with the modifications carried out by Impul already. The turbo is able to boost to approx. 0.9 Barwhich when combined with the exhaust system fitted produces around 330 - 340 bhp as is. Handling is good too - suspension felt much better than for a standard car, not too soft - harder really. In the dry, the traction control comes on for the first 2 gears, if the car's being driven hard. Feels a very healthy example that hasn't been driven hard at all. Note there are no stone chips on the front at all either - which indicates the car wasn't driven hard regularly!
All in all, an example, complete with stage 1 engine mods and suspension as desired! We'll need to discuss which bodykit you'd like sourced and arrange to receive this ASAP, so the car can subsequently be shipped for you to be completed in the UK upon arrival. I would suggest either the Impul bodykit, or perhaps one of many lower priced alternatives available on the Japanese market.
But first you'll be wanting to know the full details of costs, so here's the information:
Car cost: 1,195,000 Yen. Auction Fee: 9.000 Yen. FOB Fee: 80,000 Yen.TOTAL FOB: 1,234,000 Yen.
FOB Fees cover the costs of transporting the car to storage yard, storage fees, deregistration, customs paperwork, customs clearance, translation of deregistration, shipping arrangements and loading onto vessel. This work is done by Yamagin Corp. who are the export company Newera Imports buys all cars at auctions through. At current exchange rate, the above figure of 1,234,000 Yen equates to approx. £6,350.Taking into account the cost of UK taxes, shipping, insurance, UK modifications, MOT, ESVA model report hire and SVA testint, also inclusive of UK registration, minor paintwork, etc as described valetting, - The usive of our fee is calculated by our system as: £10,945 The following UK costs are not included, which you may want to consider: (1) Cat 1 Alarm Immobiliser (Cat 1 alarms immobilisers are available from around £330 £150 respectively).(2).Waxoyl to the chassis (£75). These are considerations which only need to be addressed as the car is about to arrive to UK. I'm pleased we got this one - and trust you'll agree - it's an excellent example. As ever, the pictures won't do the car it's full justice. It will look brilliant once fully valetted for your collection upon completion, of course!
We expect the next available departure to leave around the end of July, headed for Southampton , this dedicated car carrier vessel - will be expected to arrive in Southampton around 1st week of September.. We expect it to be with our UK preparation facilities by 2nd week of Sept, for completion around 1st week of October (Bearing in mind it usually takes an average of 4 weeks to process a car fully upon arrival).
(Please note! If the bodykit you want is bought in Japan and takes longer to find, then we can ship the car on a subsequent vessel).
