2000 (March) Lancer GSR Evolution 6 Tommi Makkinen Edition. 5 Speed Manual. In excellent original condition.

Standard equipment includes: PAS, Dual SRS Airbags, Momo steering wheel, 4 channel ABS, Brembo brakes, Permanent 4WD system, Anti Yaw, Water jet to intercooler, Rear Wiper, Central Locking, Electric mirrors with retract mode, Signature TME Recaros, etc. There is no hifi fitted as standard although if I remember correctly - the speakers in the car are uprated items. Optional extras also include fitted mats. The exhaust is a standard item. Wheels are original Enkei 17" items with 4 good quality sports tyres. At the front, there are optional PIAA driving lights fitted.

Driving: It seemed to pull better than the lower mileage Evo 6's we've bought before. Once the turbo came in, it pulled very willingly! Clutch has probably already been replaced, as on Evos it can wear out fairly quickly. This one feels as if there's plenty of life left in it yet too. I didn't explore the handling much as the limits are so high, it's unlikely to slide at anything but insane corner entry speeds.. Brakes pulled up with no drama at all. No signs of warped discs,or anything like that. In fact, it drove like a new and tight example with no faults noticed at all. Even a short trip around the block served to prove this is a helluva fun car to drive. Feels so polished and precise!!

This has been a non smoker's car since new. Inteior is in good condition with no faults to report at all. The boot looks as if it's not carried much luggage in it's life. Auction grade is 4.5 AA (A for exterior and A for Interior - the highest condition letters available at JAA Auction - inpressive for a 5 year old car!) Note there are some very minor small scratches to each of the wheels (Pics available of each wheel), although these may mostly be OK with polishing using cutting compound. There's just one light pin dent I could find on the driver's door. I looked at the passenger door, which has apparently been repainted - but if this is the case, it's certainly not noticable. The front bumper is notably free of stone chips too - which helps confirm this car's not been driven hard at all. Note that the callipers are fading in colour due to heat - this is common on all Evos from Version 5 onwards (Previous models didn't have Brembo brakes as std).

We'll repair the pin dent on the driver's door and also clean polish the wheel rims as part of work to prepare the car in the UK, so it's all fine. Note also that when we do the conversions, we can fit the special additional lights into the tail gate as supplied by yourself. If preferred our workshop can also fit the TME Sticker set to the car whilst it's being prepared - there would be some labour charges for this.

In summary - this was the very cleanest low mileage example we were likely to come by. Taking into account the cost of UK taxes, shipping, insurance, UK modifications, MOT, Model report hire, E-SVA test, UK registration, plus all preparation in the UK as described above in detail - The usive of our fee: £16,548.
