This car was sourced to special order for a customer who specifically wanted a white RS200 in best possible condition, ideally with the factory bodykit and no rear spoiler! After around 4 weeks of searching, this was the car we found: A beautifully looked after example with under 20,000 original miles :) It's like a nearly new car!The Altezza RS 200 Z Edition is a Japan only version of the Lexus IS200. With a 4 cylinder 16 Valve 2.0 litre variable valve timing BEAMS engine, it produces 210 bhp, as opposed to the lazy European model’s 6 cylinder engine – which makes only 170 bhp. The gearbox in the manual version is 6 speed – with close ratios to allow maximum use of the higher revs on which this engine thrives above 6,000. Rev limit is: 8,000. The main difference between the RS 200 Z Edition and European versions, however – is in the handling. With the Yamaha designed 3S-GE Beams engine being significantly shorter and mounted well back in the engine bay, there’s excellent weight distribution, making this a car that handles very well for a 4 door family Saloon. Combined with Toyota / Lexus build quality and excellent value, this is a RWD car that’s hard to beat as a reliable all rounder.

Equipment: Original option tilt/ slide glass sunroof, TRD factory fitted bodykit consisting of front rear bumper spoilers and side skirts made of ABS plastic (flexes when bumped, rather than cracking - a problem with FRP!) with integrated driving lights in the front bumper, original option mesh front grille, 17" alloys and sports tyres, side window wind / rain deflectors, privacy glass on rear windows, switchable traction control also with snow mode, ABS, Dual SRS Airbags with leather covered sports steering wheel, Climate Controlled Air Conditioning, Electric Windows, Original audio with integrated CD changer, Central Locking with remote control integrated into the key, electric mirrors with retract mode, electric windows, factory sports cloth seats, original fitted mats, chromed gear shift for 6 speed box, alloy pedals, alloy sill protection strips (Note the protective PVC plastic is still on from new!). Also fitted to this car are some Tanabe coilovers. These will be supplied with the car, although unfortunately not fitted - since the car must be completely standard when being SVA tested.

Condition Report: This example was chosen for it's quality. Panels are pin dent free and all have original factory paint, with no previous repairs. There's also absolutely no corrosion beneath. Interior is in excellent condition. Although the ashtray and cigar lighter are unused, the car has been owned by a light smoker - the smell of smoke has already dissapeared as far as we can tell. As already mentioned, the bodywork's in mint original condition. The front lip had some minor cracks on the paint and the side skirt on driver's side had suffered a light scratch. Both of these have already been repaired. Car's now completely unmarked.
Test Drive: Engine is in good health and BEAMS system is working well. Transmission system is smooth and quiet in operation with clutch still having a long life ahead. The brakes have no warping to the discs, or any signs of needing any imminent replacement. Note also, oil has also recently been changed and this car has been regularly serviced and maintained. There are no faults at all to report with this car.

This Altezza RS200 Z Edition will be completed to perfection by ourselves , where it will be modified for UK use, fully SVA tested, taxed and supplied with 12 month's comprehensive warranty.
