DESCRIPTION

This one owner from new GT-R has been modified extensively by Mine's - One of the most respected Japanese GT-R tuners renowned for making very quick GT-R's with great road manners! This example's been improved with stage 2 engine tuning to give it approximately 450 - 480 bhp, depending on boost, whilst retaining small HKS 2510 turbos and all accompanying modifications. It boosts from the same revs as standard, only with a lot more power! Every aspect has received upgrades, from the engine and drivetrain, through to the full Trust Gracer original bodykit Polished rim 5 spoke 18" wheels, Mine's tuned Ohlins coilovers, R34 GT-R Brembo brakes and much more! This a low genuine mileage example with excellent spec. A beautiful and unique GT-R with years of life in it!!



Aesthetic improvements: The bodykit consists of a genuine Trust Gracer front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper spats with an original Mine's rear spoiler. Note this uses the original mounting holes, which means the boot lid hasn't been modified to fit - so if a standard rear spoiler would be preferred, this can be exchanged at no additional cost. Wheels are an unmarked Circular deep dish 5 spoke design with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres of size: 245/40-ZR18. Performance Improvements: A large list of Mine's HKS tuning parts have been fitted, which in combination provide a tractable and responsive setup that can be used from slow town driving, to very fast Touge / track attack! Turbos are original HKS GT2510's which provide excellent response and are good for around 550 bhp max. At 1.2 bar the car is making around 450 bhp. These fit using the standard cast Iron manifolds (More reliable against cracking than stainless steel manifolds). In typical Mine's style the original cold air box is retained with a Mine's VX high flow panel filter inside. The uprated intercooler is an R type unit, designed for high response air flow. Injectors are 650cc items. The fuel pump is in tank and has been uprated also. The ECU being employed is a Mines VX ROM, combined with an HKS EVC 3 Boost controller (Low setting is 1.0 bar, high 1.2 bar). The downpipe is an equal length Mine's VX Pro with 70mm primaries and 80mm secondary. Exhaust gases pass through a standard catalyst (A cat replacement pipe is supplied free of charge - it's in the boot with other parts) and into a 304 stainless Silence VX Pro Mine's muffler which is 90mm main with a 115mm tail pipe. Power is transmitted via a 2 plate clutch kit with lightweight flywheel. This feels quite new judging by how much like standard it feels - very progressive for use in town. We suspect there's a Nismo clutch slave cylinder fitted, as it's so smooth to use. Combined with excellent mapping, this is a car that we've found docile to use in traffic, as well as for serious acceleration and speed on the open road! Oil pressure's good and the engine, gearbox, etc. are all in excellent health. Note also that Mine's has fitted an oil cooler - with the core located behind the bumper on the passenger side. There's a Mine's Carbon Cooling panel fitted to aid Radiator performance.Please note that although the car is mapped for Japanese fuel, it may need adjustment for UK European fuels. Usually Mine's VX ROM ECU's work fine in UK with only some minor retarding of the ignition required. For best results we'd recommend fitment of an Apexi Power FC ECU Commander. Costs of adjustment mapping would not be included in the evelopments is able to recommend a tuner to carry out professional mapping to work with UK fuels on the customer's behalf, We'd recommend changing the strut brace for something thicker (Top Secret, HKS Kansai or Auto Select) and fitting an oil catch tank. Although this car needs nothing added, if wanted, there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (We're here to help).
Suspension modifications include Ohlins coilovers revalved by Mine's. Cusco uprated anti-roll bars are also fitted front rear. Cusco front tension rods for enhanced steering feel response are also fitted.
Brakes: Brembo BNR34 Gold 4 piston front callipers 2 piston rear callipers with vented cross drilled rotors provide excellent stopping power. Pads are uprated to sports compound at each corner. Brake hoses are braided Project Mu items. Fluid has also recently been changed. Braking is excellent.Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, remote controlled door mirrors, rear wiper, unmarked velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, oil pressure etc. - all indicate low wear!
Interior: It's very rare to find a GT-R of this age with such low genuine mileage. Clearly the last owner wanted to start with an excellent example, when doing all this tuning work!Interior Condition: The interior is in excellent condition. Modifications are discreet with a Momo steering wheel, the HKS boost controller (Has high boost / scramble mode) and turbo timer. The Speedo is a 320 km/h Mine's item. We'd recommend retaining this, since modification to read in MPH can cause problems with the HICAS otherwise. This has been a non smoker's car. There are no faults to report except some wear to the gear lever and handbrake gaiters. We'd recommend replacement with Abflug Alcantara items with "GT-R" embroidery. Very classy - yet inexpensive. Other modifications are also available like a Nismo shift knob, Nismo mats, etc (Available from www.neweraparts.com). Note the light switch, mats, gear lever and handbrake gaiters, door trims, roof lining, etc. are all clean and unworn, in keeping with the low mileage this car's covered.
Auction Grade is 3.5. This is the grade given for a car which has had no prior accidents. The bodywork is in outstanding condition. In keeping with the low mileage, it's rust free - with none of the rot often found on the rear arches of BNR32's or anywhere else. The sill's jacking points are also not damaged, which is very unusual for an example of this age. Note also how straight the flanks are - no signs of repair at all! All we could find were some very minor stone chips on the alloy bonnet, 2 stone chips on the roof and some paint blemishes on the rear bumper. We will provide a new touch up paint stick with the car. Rear bumper shall be repainted as part of the full OTR price, to provide a mint condition car.Engine Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it drives very, very well! It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Being uprated, the brakes are also much stronger than standard - affording the sort of stopping power needed for a car of this level of performance. Excellent oil pressure (5kg/cm2 at idle when cold and 2.5kg/m2 when at normal operating temperature) at idle shows this is a strong engine in good health. Clutch feels as if it's brand new. We test drove this example for around 90 minutes and found it felt tight and very together. It pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 450 bhp. More power will be available at higher boost / settings - but these should be checked in the UK using det cans, etc. to make sure the engine will always be run safely. Total cost of modifications paintwork to this car cost the last owner approx. £15,000 during the last 3-5 years. All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving, rather than chasing maximum power. Expect this to be a very quick and fun car to drive with perfect poise and instant response!OTR Price: £9,295.
