This R32 GT-R was one of the last to roll off the production line in 1994 and was only registered in Japan in March of 1995. Since then it's been meticulously looked after and done very low mileage. Judging by the general condition of paintwork, it would appear to have been garaged most of it's life too. This GT-R has been improved by Midori Seibi - a well known and highly respected GT-R tuning specialist here in Japan, to produce a GT-R's with great performance excellent road manners. This example's been improved to give it approximately 400 bhp. This a low genuine mileage example with excellent spec - in absolutely perfect running condition. A GT-R beautiful and unique GT-R with years of life in it!
Performance Improvements: An HKS V-Cam kit (Step 1) in combination with an HKS Electronic Valve Timing Controller help improve entine torque and power at above 4,000 rpm. An ARC plate fin type intercooler reduces intake temperatures. There's an HKS equal length stainless front pipe (70 x 2 / 85mm bore) with a high flow Metalit Catalyser combined with a Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust (Low noise cat back system). This trio of 304 Stainless grade items complete exhaust modifications. To keep liquid temps low there's an HKS oil cooler system with the core neatly located behind the nearside bumper vent, complete with alloy shrouding. The radiator is a 3 core copper (Better cooling properties than aluminium) unit by Midori Seibi. The car is currently running 1.1 bar of boost and with the quality of modifications fitted and the resulting performance available, it's very likely the ECU chip has been replaced also by Midori, but without taking the ECU apart we haven't checked. 1.1 bar is the absolute maximum that standard turbos should be run at and at present the car's producing around 400 bhp with noticable urgency at higher revs, much improved over normal thanks to the V-Cam system.Other performance interior improvements: Suspension modifications consist of a fully adjustable coilover set by Aragosta. These are 12 step adjustable, specifically designed for fast road and occasional track day use. Height is adjustable independently of spring preload and of course damping is also adjustable. Spring rates are F: 12kg/mm, R: 10kg/mm. This combination is firm yet compliant for road use. Nismo upper lower rear suspension links with uprated bushes are fitted in combination with matching upper bushes. Greddy electronic 60mm black boost gauge is fitted in combination with 2 matching Greddy Oil Temp Oil Pressure gauges neatly located within a Greddy bespoke A pilar panel. An Apexi turbo timer protects the turbos after hard use. This car's also been fitted with a 320 km/h Speedometer since new. There's an easily removable, but useful drinks holder located on the centre console. Note also the R34 GT-R original option alloy pedal covers. No hifi is currently fitted, as this was removed by the previous owner, so we'll be fitting a Kenwood E313S 200W CD player as part of full on the road preparation. There's a CD changer in the boot, but at present no CD cartridge is available. Not sure if this would be compatible with the new hifi in any case (Audio equipment is supplied with this car free of charge).
Please note that although the car is mapped for Japanese fuel, it may need adjustment for UK European fuels. Although this car needs nothing added, if wanted, there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (We're here to help). If intending to use the car regularly on trackdays, etc. we'd recommend fitment of an Apexi Power FC ECU Commander and further fueling and air flow measurement modifications. Newera is able to recommend a tuner to carry out professional mapping to work with UK fuels on the customer's behalf. Parts can be supplied at discount from www.neweraparts.com Aesthetic improvements: There's an HKS oil filler cap, to go with the V-Cam system. Wheels are RAYS TE37's with RAYS lightweight aluminium wheel nuts. Tyres are Bridgestone Potenza RE750 (Good road tyres of size: 255/40-R17) which are about 50% worn. To further modernise the looks of this car, Nismo floor mats, improved steerign wheel and Nismo style LED tail lights are also available at low prices. See www.neweraparts.com for details!
Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, unmarked velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, oil pressure etc. - all indicate low wear!
Interior: It's very rare nowadays to find a BNR32 interior in such excellent condition. The single owner wsn't a smoker and probably quite small - judging by the interior's lack of wear and ageing throughout. Note the R34 GT-R original option drilled alloy pedal covers too. Steering wheel and shift knob are original leather covered items in excellent original condition. Note the light switch, mats, gear lever and handbrake gaiters, door trims, roof lining, etc. are all clean and unworn, in keeping with the low mileage this car's covered.
Auction Grade is R-A. This is the grade given for a car which has had a small (cosmetic only) prior accident. The near-side rear quarter has been changed in the past. Quality of repair and fit is excellent as is paint match. The bodywork is in outstanding condition and shows signs of having been regularly polished and cared for. As mentioned before this car's probably been garaged much of it's life too. In keeping with the low mileage, it's rust free - with none of the rot often found on the rear arches or anywhere else on BNR32's.All we could find were some very minor stone chips on the front bumper, alloy bonnet and leading edges of the front wings. Also some small scratches chips on the rear spoiler which we have already touched in, although if preferred we can have the entire rear spoiler re-painted at a small additional cost. We can also provide a new touch up paint stick with the car. Sides are notably straight, although there is one shallow pin dent on the nearside quarter. We will have a dent specialist in UK repair this assuming access from behind is possible.Note this car's had a paint protection coating by Midori Seibi also.Engine Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it drives very, very well! It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Being uprated, the brakes are also considerably stronger than standard - affording the sort of stopping power needed for a car of this level of performance. Excellent oil pressure (5kg/cm2 at idle when cold and 2.5kg/m2 when at normal operating temperature) at idle shows this is a strong engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. Clutch feels as if it's got plenty of life left and the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchro wear found on these cars. We test drove this example for around 10km and found it felt tight and very together. Over rough bits of road the suspension felt comfortable yet firm and compliant. Feels like a new car in many ways. It pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 400 bhp. From it's condition and evident maturity in choice of parts used to improve it we know this car's been owned by a mature driver. The tightness of it's feel and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has not had much use since being modified, nor even before - bearing in mind the mileage. It's one of the nicest feeling GT-R's we've sourced driven this year - and we'd recommend not modifying it much further - but enjoying it as a well prepared road car.Total cost of modifications paintwork to this car cost the last owner approx. £15,000 during ownership. All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving, rather than chasing maximum power. Expect this to be a very quick and fun car to drive with perfect poise and instant response!Includes all costs such as full UK conversions, 12 month's comprehensive warranty, valeting, cost of road tax and new MOT.Contact us using the inquiry form for further information regarding this Skyline GT-R or to source an alternative top condition quality R32 GT-R. Please note that due to the high quality of each example we source - our Skylines tend to be reserved quickly which is why not many are in stock at any given time.
