This is a genuine low mileage Skyline (R33) GT-R for the discerning person who wants the very best condition example available. It's not an example that's had significant tuning modifications. A set of discreet but stylish ( very expensive) BBS Le Mans 18" 2 piece forged alloy wheels and an HKS Super Dragger exhaust system (Cat back) are fitted, with the rest of the car remaining standard. Most notable however, is the original condition of the bodywork on this example. The panels are completely straight with no signs of paintwork and interior is similarly very tidy. It's the best R33 you're likely to find for sale - if you're after a sensible example for daily use.
Main Specifications: As standard, Brakes are Brembo at each corner. Boost is controlled by the standard ECU to 0.84 Bar. Also included as standard: Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, velour seats, privacy rear windows, rear wiper, adjustable rear spoiler, original full set of fitted mats, etc. Note that a leter type steering wheel is fitted, as the standard R33 GT-R 1995 wheel was quite ugly. Exterior is standard aside from the already mentioned BBS LM 2 piece forged alloy wheels of size 18 x 9.5J shod with Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 sports tyres of size 265/35/ZR18. Exhaust cat back section has been replaced with an HKS Super Dragger system.
Engine Drive: Excellent oil pressure (4/cm2 at idle when cold, 3kg/cm2 when at normal operating temperature. The clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining (Standard unit). Brake discs are each almost new! Test driving this example, I found it felt tight and very together. Idle is very smooth from start up, no rattles or squeaks from the interior, good smooth braking stability. It feels like a car that's never been driven hard and there is evidence this is the case, given that the paintwork is so original and spotless - with no stone chips gained over the car's life in Japan. Auction grade is 4 (Auction sheet is available). Interior has just some minor discolouring to the driver's seat from friction over time. See pictures. This has also been a non smoker's car since new. Condition of paintwork is as shown by pictures, absolutely outstanding! There is a small scratch on the n/s corner of the rear bumper, also one tiny pin dent on the rear quarter and 2 similarly tiny pin dents on the rear section of the driver's door and leading edge of the o/s quarter. The bonnet has previously been repainted (Presumably to repair minor stone chips) but as finish is not 100% matching. Finally, there is a small scratch/mark on the boot lid. Each of these faults we will be repainting / repairing to present this car in perfect condition. Please note there are some minor dents to the jacking points at the front of the car, this is common on almost every Skyline R32-R34.Note the absence of rippled panels or pin dents to each side, which would indicate the paintwork is all original and has been very carefully looked after. This is the sort of car the owner would have polished regularly, as well as avoiding parking near other cars in car parks. The engine bay, steering wheel, carpets, indicator stalks, pedal rubbers, brake discs, exterior - all indicate low wear and careful use. Clearly the engine's been recently serviced, judging by how clean the oil is too.
This has been a one owner car since new. Clearly the last keeper polished it regularly to keep paintwork this good. All signs show this hasn't been a Skyline that's been driven hard and modifications are sensible to improve the car yet still allow it to remain relaxing to drive for daily use. We believe this car has been owned by a mature Japanese man,who has kept it garaged throughout most of it's life. An excellent very genuine low mileage example.
