DESCRIPTION

Nowadays finding a good R32 GT-R has become increasingly harder as time has taken it's toll and so few owners give these cars the care they deserve. Prices are also continuously but steadily increasing in Japan, which makes finding these cars ever greater a challenge. We don't know for how much longer we'll be able to supply, but whilst we can we will continue to source these amazing cars.Destined to become one of Japan's most prized classic cars the good well looked after rust free examples are steadily strenghtening in price worldwide, as collectors continue to realise pristine examples are becoming a rare breed. This example has been beautifully preserved and is absolutely rust free throughout which means it has original rust free arches, no rust (Not even on bolt heads!) on the front panel, and no hidden chassis rust which is sadly common on cars that have been imported to Europe and not properly cared for. This stunning example was originally sourced for our stock, but was reserved before going online - by a customer who had the wisdom to place an order and wait to see what we had coming. Engine Drivetrain Performance improvements: Blitz Sus Power air filters. A Trust Oil cooler with relocated oil filter mount (element is located behind the nearside bumper vents oil / filter changes are made much easier) helps keep the engine cool when under hard use.A Laile Cooling Panel also helps the radiator to work more efficiently. Fueling is taken care of by a Garage Saurus ROM ECU in combination with a Fuel Pressure regulator.Boost levels are maintained by a recent model Blitz Dual Solenoid Boost controller.A Garage Saurus Oil catch tank helps maximize combustion efficiency (without oil mist into the combustion cycle). Exhaust gases are expelled without restriction (for improved boost) with a Trust front pipe, original catalyzer HKS Super dragger exhaust. These give a purposeful but not overly loud sound. A Nismo single plate (Pull type) clutch helps put the power down without drama of sudden'ness usually associated with uprated clutch systems. We noted that the diff cover on the car is the finned type as fitted to V-Spec models (For improved cooling). Also fitted are a Tomei Oil filler cap, Billion Brake master cylinder band (not shown in pictures, but added afterward) Autometer electronic boost gauge. Handling Braking upgrades include: Volk Racing TE37’s of size 17 x 9.5J +12 (Manufactured in 2010 but probably not fitted to the car till around 2011) with nearly new tyres – Bridgestone Porenza RE-11’s. These are Japan’s more expensive but best sports brand. Wheel nuts are Neochro racing items with matching locking wheel nuts (key is with the car's tool kit). Suspension consists of HKS Hypermax III’s which we fitted to replace the coilovers that the car came with which were hard and had noisy pillow top bearings. Brakes are 4 pot Alcon on the rear and 6 pot AP Racing on the front with semi-floating discs at each corner with braided hoses too of course. These provide effortless stopping power! The front suspension upper mounts are Cusco, as are the tension rods. Original upper mounts tend to be a problem arear where bushes wear and the tension rods help give accuracy of geometry steering. There’s also a Nismo rear strut brace and Tein one at the front. There’s a Cusco full roll cage too, with removable rear bars, should the new owner want to use the rear seat (belts are also still fitted). We have an upright section of the rear seat in stock too, which can be shipped with the car if this part will be of use. foam covered side-bars are also supplied. Just the wheels, tyres brakes at each corner are worth half the total price of the car. Body is also remarkably tidy of course rust free. Note the arches are rolled at the rear to give space for the wheels tires without rubbing. The job has been tidily completed with stone chip coating to avoid rust. Nice attention to detail.
Interior Cosmetic external improvements: Alpine 200W head unit, Personal Steering Wheel with HICAS boss, Tomei Duracon Shift knob and newly fitted Nismo floor mat set. A Nismo speedometer has replaced the original although the previous owner thoughtfully supplied the original speedo too. Note also the Autometer electronic boost gauge and Blitz SBC's boost controller panel, neatly located. Exterior includes original N1 headlights (These look nearly new to us - definitely not originally supplied items). A full Nismo styled bodykit is also fitted inclusive of side spats, matching bonnet lip, bumper ducts and rear spoiler lip. Note that the original rear spoiler bonnet lips tend to become deformed (They all do it as water traps inside and the steel frame subsequently corrodes) so these FRP replicas mean there are no problems of such occuring ever again.
Further Improvements available: Although this car needs nothing added, if wanted, there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (With 15 years of experience we know what parts are of the best quality performance for intended purposes). We can supply anything from custom LED reverse fog lights to Nismo anti-roll bars carbon interior components from Nismo other brands. All available tuning parts for BNR32 available throughout Japan can be sourced supplied at discount from www.neweraparts.com
Standard Equipment includes: ABS, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained.
Interior condition: is excellent. Only a tiny amount of bubbling on the dashboard crease, which is hardly noticable really - much better than most. The Personal steering wheel has some minor scratching ageing but is perfectly usable. The original seats are also well preserved with not much fading at all, for a car of this age. It's clear to us this example's been kept mostly out of the elements much of it's life. Note this has been a non-smoker's car since new. Ashtray lighter are unused.
Exterior: Bodywork is in outstanding condition showing signs of having been well cared for. In keeping with the low mileage and use in Tokyo area, it's rust free - with none of the rot often found on the rear arches, front suspension turrets, front panel, underside, or anywhere else on BNR32's. This car has never seen salt or muddy roads. If you've looked carefully at GT-R's that have been in the UK for some years learnt where the pitfalls are, you'll know this is an important consideration (We only source corrosion free GT-R's).
We found only minor bodywork faults as follows: The front bumper has some touched in scratches and minor stone chips and there is a blemish / touched in mark on the bonnet. Both of these will be re-painted as part of full UK preparation whilst the car's at www.rktuning.com The following are as detailed as we can possibly be and are not faults that most people would notice, but are mentioned to give as much information as possible:There's 2 small pin dents on the u/s rear quarter, one on the front offside wing 2 on the driver's door and one on the o/s rear quarter. They're all very small and we usually wouldn't repair but will ask RK to have these removed by a specialist where it's possible to access from behind. Around the exhaust - part of the bumper edge has been melted by the tail pipe. We also noted the rear bumper has a minor ding on the rear n/s corner. Too small to require repair, but mentioned to give a complete report. Note there is the usual bending of the sill seams at the front jacking points (design fault on all 32's - where these are damaged if the original emergency jack is used!). This is not visible is normal on 32's but again, mentioned to give further complete information.
Engine Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it drives very well! It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Excellent oil pressure (nearly 6 kg/cm2 cold 3 kg/m2 when warm) at idle shows this is an engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. The gearbox is smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchromesh wear found on these cars. We found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 350 bhp on boost of around 0.9 bar. Low boost is plenty powerful enough for road use. The tightness of it's feel and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has rarely been on a circuit.
Over £12,000 worth of top specification tuning handling improvements are fitted to this stunning rust free Skyline R32 GT-R. In parts these cars are worth much more in Japan than supplied as a whole, so it's rare for us to be able to buy them intact like this. Make no mistake - this is one of the best R32's we're likely to have this year. Prices of top examples in Japan continue to steadily strengthen, so we're unlikely to find many more good examples like this going forwards.
UK Includes all costs such as UK conversions, minor paintwork repairs as described (See pictures and comments on slideshow), valeting, road tax and new MOT (required for registration) with 12 months comprehensive warranty.
