The Nissan Stagea Turbo is one of the most interesting large capacity 5 seater cars available - which was only built for the Japanese domestic market officially. The previous owner of this car clearly wanted a special car and subsequently modified almost every aspect to achieve the high-powered result we have available here. For the sports driver who wants reliable high capacity load carrying capability, excellent handling, RB25 turbo performance and reliability - this is a unique opportunity. You won't find another Stagea with such low mileage yet alone the high level of modifications of this example.
Performance Handling Modifications: An HKS 2535 turbo kit is central to the modifications on this car. ECU is none other than a Mine’s VX ROM, mapped by Mine’s – naturally! A set of 555cc SARD injectors coupled to a Nismo fuel pressure regulator fuel pump in combination with Earl’s braided hoses and fittings take care of increased fuel duties required when using this larger turbo. A KN M’s induction kit allows unrestricted air flow and makes the waste gate audiable on gear changes. A Blitz front-mount intercooler kit with hard pipes provides cooling for the intake charge. Splitfire coil packs give increased spark power to each cylinder. Exhaust modifications comprise of a 75mm bore stainless high flow down pipe (Heat wrapped), a cat-replacement pipe and a Signal racing dial silencer exhaust (Oval centre silencer racing style rear silencer). For cooling there’s a (maximum size!) 16 row Trust oil cooler kit mounted forward of the radiator, complete with Earl’s braided hoses and fittings. Inside, there’s an Apexi AVC-R Boost controller (With remote “scramble boost” on the dashboard combined with a Super AFC (Fuel controller) for fine tuning the fueling. A set of HKS coilovers with pillow upper mounts provide height adjustable performance damping to each corner. N.B: We’d recommend having this car dyno’d and the AFC calibrated to UK octane ratings for maximum safety. Newera can recommend a reliable and reasonable tuner to do this upon request.Cosmetic Modifications: A genuine Nismo series 1 bodykit is fitted, comprising of a front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper. A set of clear front side repeaters are also fitted. Wheels are lightweight 17” Tracer mags with high grip sports tyres of size 245/45R17 – front rear. Original wind deflectors are also fitted. All combined, as pictures show - give the car an agressively purposeful look.Interior Modifications: Aside from the already mentioned Apexi S-AFC AVC-R, there’s a Momo SRS leather bound steering wheel. Driver’s seat is a Bride Brix complete with adjustable seat rail. Audio is by Kenwood (200W). Note the original option dog guard also fitted in the back. This is a grade 4 car (Auction sheet is available upon request).Only the following minor faults to report: Inside, there’s a single small cigarette burn on the rear seat about 2mm in diameter (See picture). There’s a small touched up scratch on the n/s/r corner – rear bumper. Front bumper also has a minor touched up area to the underside, near the FMIC. There’s also a touched in area of the driver’s door moulding. None of these items require repair, but are described for the sake of providing a full and accurate report (Pictures also show these). Notw that the rear tyres are worn on the inside edge (Due to camber) and may need replacing for the MOT. We have allowed for up to £150.00 worth of tyres within the price of the car We tested this car for approx 10km after warming up - which revealed a car with no faults to report. Ride is firm but still comfortable. Nice and quiet with no rattles or signs of abuse. There are clear signs this car's been well cared for and regularly serviced. Oil has been changed approx 2,500 miles ago.). Mechanically it's in perfect condition. Strong power with good response, and all signs of well maintained car.
