Fitted with an original Mazdaspeed A-Spec front spoiler with incorporated driving lights. Rear spoiler is also a Mazdaspeed item, resembling a 1999 original. High quality 17" RE Amemiya 2 piece Alloys with 4 near new Yokohama Advan sports tyres of size 235/40/ZR17 265/40/ZR17. Suspension comprises fully adjustable quality coil-overs, complete with height and damping adjustment.

Mechanically the car is standard, aside from an "Apexi " stainless steel rear exhaust section.

Original equipment includes twin oil coolers, Alcantara suede front seats, back seats, PAS, P/W, AC, 4 channel ABS, fitted mats, original Momo steering wheel, cubby box with elbow pad instead of an ashtray, tinted rear window. The original tool kit is complete and unused. Note: no optional spark plug tool is included. Also fitted are a Cusco alloy front strut brace, Mazdaspeed carbon-look shift knob.
Included is a recent model high quality Sony MD/CD/Radio - free of charge.

FD3S - 40XXXX models onwards models also have a 16 bit ECU which reacts faster to provide better engine management and slightly more power (265 bhp). Also there are uprated tail lenzes in addition to some engine improvements as std.. This is a lightweight model built just before airbags were introduced as std. in Japan.

The interior is in excellent original condition with just small, barely visible marks from a cigarette - on the driver's seat (Picture available).
Auction grade 4 (Auction sheet is available). Exterior is absolutely immaculate - we washed and checked the bodywork on this car thoroughly and found no faults at all - not even a pin dent to report. Wheels are in excellent condition with only a few minor marks to the edges - to report.

We test drove this car for a week, as our own RX-7 was away having further improvements fitted. It drives perfectly. There are no faults at all to report. Although the ECU is standard, this car pulls very well indeed - with good idle, etc. It drives much like a new car and performance is excellent, once again reminding us of how good these cars are, even without major modification. It's making approx. 280 bhp as is.
Clearly this example was cherished by the last owner and not used hard. The engine is in fine health with high oil pressure, healthy turbos and perfect starting every time. It's producing an excellent spread of power - still healthy and with plenty of life to give. In any case, a high quality engine warranty will be supplied with this car, covering rotor tips and water seals.
Total cost of wheels, tyres, exhaust, suspension aero parts in Japan totals approx. £6,000. 1996 + RX-7's in as beautiful condition as this combined at an affordable price are few and far between.
