This is THE lowest genuine mileage R32 GT-R we have bought into stock in the last year! With only 36.689 miles from new, this is an example with lots of life in the engine yet! This Skyline has been improved with stage 1 tuning to give it approximately 330 bhp in current guise, yet still allow it to remain easily drivable and usable for every day use.
Performance Improvements: Whilst not stressing the engine excessively and allowing it to remain drivable as a daily use car, this GT-R has had mild modifications to enhance it. The clutch is uprated with a twin plate Ogura unit - although it feels fairly new, as it's not very sharp in feeling at all - which should give some ease of drivability, whilst allowing this car to be launched fast without fear of the clutch breaking. Apexi Dual Funnel induction kits are fitted. These are about the best that's available on the market in Japan. With fine mesh and a synthetic filter sandwiched between laters, impregnated with oil, these give excellent air flow whilst trapping all particulates. A Trust expansion tank is fitted to the cooling system and there's a radiator shroud to maximise air flow for cooling. An equal length large bore downpipe is fitted combined with a high flow catalyst and an HKS silent power muffler system. This has a 95mm bore with a 120mm exit. An oil catch tank is fitted by the battery - to avoid oil mist from crank case pressures going back into the inlet manifold, which can reduce power in combustion. An alloy annodised oil filler cap is also fitted. The ECU has been re-chipped, as the car runs 0.9 Bar of boost without a boost controller fitted (Std. is 0.7 Bar). This can either be used as is - combined with ignition timing retard to allow safe running on foreign fuels available, or to maximise performance and safety against detonation on lower octane foreign fuels, we are able to supply an Apexi FC ECU complete with controller at low price of £565 incl. hand held FC controller.Suspension, handling and braking: Suspension has received attention and uprating. Coilovers are TEIN HA's These provide uprated handling and grip, whilst remaining supple and comfortable for road use. Expect very much improved handling over standard with these. At the front there's an Apexi Carbon fibre anodised alloy strut brace, whilst at the rear there's a Nismo brace between the suspension turrets and a further brace at the very rear to secure the rear chassis rails further.A rear mounted roll cage is also fitted, complete with foam padding - to give enhanced rigidity handling. A. To enhance brake pedal feel, stainless braided hoses have replaced the standard rubber flexible lines, at each corner. Pads at each corner are nearly new Project Mu CC-X - considered to be the best items available for fade free performance under hard use on both road track.
Interior: The interior is in top condition throughout. This has been a non smoker's car. Attention has been lavished inside with a Greddy 100mm diameter boost gauge a Power Enterprise exhaust temperature gauge. The handbrake lever has been treated to an annodised alloy handle complete with quick release mechanism. The gear lever has been replaced with a quick shift item and the gaiter replaced with a carbon leather item. The steering wheel has also been substituted for a nearly new Momo "race" item. Note that the rear seat belts are not fitted - it's likely the rear seats weren't used on this car, once the the cage was fitted - original rear seat belts are available inexpensively if desired. The hifi is an Addzest 140W Cassette/Radio unit.
Aesthetic improvements: BBS 2 piece forged lightweight alloy wheels of size 17" are fitted at each corner. Tyres are Bridgestone Potenza RE-01's of size 245/45/ZR17 - each is around half worn. Note that only one wiper is currently fitted - Race style. The other wiper arm is inside the car, so these can be returned to standard easily. The last owner fitted replica Nismo bonnet lip, side skirt extensions, rear valence sections and lip spoiler on the boot in addition to remote controlled Ganador mirrors. Standard equipment includes: Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, rear wiper, velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, seats, steering wheel, carpets, gear lever, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, etc. - all indicate low wear and careful use. The interior is amongst the very cleanest we've seen in any R32 GT-R.
Auction Grade is 4 - The auction sheet also reports that the front wings and bonnet have been replaced in the past. There are no signs of any accident repair, so for example the front panel has had no repairs. Everything lines up as it should and of course the car's completely straight (Or we simply wouldn't stock it). Oil looks to be around 2,000 km old - no need to change it, yet. Engine has excellent oil pressure (4kg/cm2 at idle when cold 2kg/cm2 when warmed to normal operating temp). It pulls strongly from around 3,500 rpm all the way through the power range and is making approximately 330 bhp with current spec. Clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining. Brake discs are not worn much at all. We test drove this example for around 10 minutes drive and found it felt tight and very together. The only faults we could find cosmetically are as shown. Note the absence of corrosion to the underside - and there is NO damage to the sill front jacking points, as is common on the vast majority og R32 GT-R's.
Inside, the interior has no faults to report aside from a split in the vinyl close to the "skyline badge". This will be repaired professionally - as there are specialists in the UK who can perform perfectly invisible patching. Note that as there is a rear mounted roll cage, the buckles for the rear seat belts are not fitted. Replacements will be supplied as part of the preparation of this car. Although Nismo replica aero parts aero mirrors have been fitted, these have not been well matched to the existing paintwork. As a result, each will need to be repainted to the same quality as original shade shine. There are some light scratches to each bumper and some very minor chips to the boot lid (pic available), driver's door and roof (passenger side). Also the front lip spoiler's been poorly painted. There is also an area with light surface rust on the leading edge of the roof. There are pictures here to show each fault described, although each of these will be professionally repaired as part of our preparation work on the car, to the highest standards.
Total cost of modifications fitted to this GT-R are approx. £4,500 excluding labour to fit. Most special about this R32 GT-R is of course it's low genuine mileage! Examples that have been as unused as this are usually very hard to buy at sensible prices in Japan, especially if near original (Collectors target these domestically!)
