Fitted with full Trial side skirts (www.trial.co.jp), as new R-magic front bumper resembling a 1999 look front, with additional eyeball style front driving lights. Note also that the side lights and indicators are small individual lamps, giving a unique look behind the perspex cover - an R-Magic tardemark. High Forged rim 17" GEWALT Evolution 2 piece Alloys with 4 good Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 sports tyres of size 235/40/ZR17 255/40/ZR17 are also fitted. Suspension comprises fully adjustable Apexi N1 coil-overs, complete with height and damping adjustment.
Exhaust is an R-magic stainless steel exhaust system from the catalyst - back. Fitted are twin Dual funnel Apexi induction filters, and alloy/silicone intercooler piping. Also fitted is an engine steady brace and an uprated twin plate clutch. Inside, a Razo turbo timer is installed to allow the turbo to cool safely after a spirited drive.
This car has been serviced and maintained by R-Magic, one of Japan's premier RX-7 specialists. Original equipment includes twin oil coolers, keeping oil within the optimum operating temperature, Alcantara suede front seats (a Sabelt drivers four point harness is currently fitted for cosmetic purpose, this is easily removed if desired), rear seats, PAS, P/W, AC, 4 channel ABS, fitted mats, cubby box with elbow pad instead of an ashtray, tinted rear window. The original tool kit is complete and unused. Note: no optional spark plug tool is included. Also fitted is the factory front strut brace along with an aftermarket aluminium rear strut brace, a factory option rear parcel shelf is also fitted. Mogg aluminium shift knob. Included is a recent model high quality Kenwood MD/CD/Radio - free of charge.
Exterior is absolutely immaculate, truly amazing for a car of this year - we washed and checked the bodywork on this car thoroughly and found only a single pin dent to the n/s/r quarter panel and a small stone chip to the o/s/f wing. Wheels are in excellent condition with only a few minor marks to the edges and a small chip to one wheel! The interior is in excellent original condition with only some small, barely visible marks from a cigarette - on the driver's seat (Picture shown). There is a small 1cm cut to the Vinyl on the rear seat back. The glovebox will currently not close due to a problem with the catch, this will ofcourse be repaired as part of the car's preperation. We test drove this car, and found it to drive perfectly. There are no faults at all to report. Although the ECU is standard, this car pulls very well indeed - with good idle, etc. It drives much like a new car and performance is excellent, once again reminding us of how good these cars are, even without major modification. It's making approx. 265 bhp as is.
We can supply new Apexi Power FC's with commander for £550 if desired. With the correct mapping and UK fuel 330BHP is achievable in combination with modifications alredy fitted - although with a car of this weight, standard power is plenty with 0-60 in 5 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph.
Clearly this example was cherished by the last owner and not used hard. The engine is in fine health with high oil pressure, healthy turbos and perfect starting every time. It's producing an excellent spread of power - still healthy and with plenty of life to give with mileage this low, before an engine refresh at around 75,000 miles. For added security a high quality engine warranty will be supplied with this car, covering rotor tips and water seals.
Total cost of wheels, tyres, exhaust, suspension aero parts in Japan totals approx. £6,000. 1994 RX-7's in as beautiful condition as this combined at an affordable price are few and far between.
