Legacy GT30's were introduced at the end of 2001. A discreet, yet spaceous and sporty 4WD coupled with Subaru's immensely strong 3,000cc 6 cylinder boxer engine. A non turbo - but still capable of producing 220 bhp and 289 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. Not far short of it's similar brother, the Legacy B4, whose power figures equate to 260 bhp and 319 NM of torque at 5,000 rpm. Transmission is of course permanent 4WD with 4 Speed Auto / Tiptronic complete with switchable modes for power or hold functions. Suspension struts are Bilstein at each corner - as factory standard. Wheels are 17'' complete with low profile tyres.
Equipment levels are high on this model and include HID headlights, which provide excellent visibility with their high voltage systems, yet cause no dazzle for oncoming drivers. Foglights are also built into the front bumper. HID units are height adjustable too, so if carrying heavy loads in the back, the level can be lowered to suit. Note the clear side repeaters also. On the roof there are rails as standard, making a sturdy mount for roof racks in the future. On this example, seats are half leather with electric adjustment for the driver. Also the gear lever and Momo steering wheel are similarly trimmed. Other standard equipment includes: SRS airbags for driver and front passenger, as well as side air bags, 4 channel ABS, PAS, Power Windows with factory tinted glass at the front and tinted glass in the rear. Climate control air conditioning is of course included, as well as a quality hifi system as standard with Minidisc and CD as well as radio. Mirrors are electric with retract mode and central locking is fitted.Other thoughtful additions include a cup holder that folds into the dashboard. Note that if the vent is pointed at a can, it will cool it with the AC system switched on - in the summer. This particular example is also equipped with fitted mats and a rear hatch liner and a complete set of fitted mats. Note the additional retractable luggage covers at the rear also.
