Production of the last facelift VVTi Supra twin turbos was from July 1997, till the end of production in August 2002. Nowadays, the VVTi models are extremely rare and sought after in Japan, especially the lowest mileage examples! Usually it's not possible to import these to the UK, due to high prices they're fetching in Japan, but also restrictions on importing - with requirements for the E-SVA test.
This example has been successfully imported as a one-off and is now fully UK registered, as well as being fitted with a high quality Cat 1 Insurance approved alarm. Make no mistake - this is an as new condition VVTi Tiptronic, something that's nowadays impossible to find in UK. Bearing in mind the difficulties experienced in getting this car successfully UK registered, we will not be importing any others. This is a one time only opportunity to get a 1999 VVTi model in this level of condition.

Equipment Includes: VVTi engine with tiptronic transmission. Updated Interior Trim including leather rimmed steering wheel, full leather front seats with electrically adjustable driver's seat. Hifi is an original option in-dash 6 CD changer with mini disc and radio. Power Mirrors with retract mode, Climate Control Air Conditioning, heated rear window with wash/wipe, factory tinted windows with privacy glass for the rear, remote central locking, original fitted Mats, Dual SRS Airbags, Updated Brakes (Larger Discs and Callipers than previous models), 4 Channel ABS, Traction Control, Updated headlights and rear lights, original rear spoiler. Original Spare Wheel and tool kit are unused and complete. Wheels are original 17" alloys with Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 tyres on the front and Falken Azenis on the rear (Tyres are half worn on the front and nearly new on the rear). Differential is a torsen limited slip unit as standard. VVTi models are equipped with variable camshaft timing. As standard these make around 300 bhp, although the last owner has added some performance parts to get more power and response (Approx 330 bhp) whilst still keeping drivability and not making the car significantly noisier: The exhaust system has been upgraded with a 5 Ziglen stainless steel cat back, 80mm bore Garage Amuse front pipe and a Blitz sonic power induction kit. Suspension has been uprated with nearly new Cusco sports coil-overs. These feel much the same in comfort to the original Bilstein shock absorbers but offers improved road holding and suspension control. A Cusco front strut brace is also fitted.

Interior is in excellent original condition. This has been a non-smoker's one owner car since new. This car was sourced as an example of auction grade 4.5 (Original auction sheet is with the car's picture slide show). Condition is excellent. There is some slight wear on the edge of the driver's seat bolster as shown on a picture. This has been repaired whist the car's being prepared. No stone chips or damage to the original bodywork and virtually no wear to the car, as well as very low wear to disc brakes, interior, etc. are all signs to indicate this example's been impeccably maintained and used by a careful driver. This example was clearly owned by a mature person in Japan. It's in near new condition!
