This is only the second Skyline Tommy Kaira R34 GT-T we have ever been able to source for stock. These are rare and usually prohibitively expensive, so when we managed to find this example, at an affordable price for stock, we snapped it up! It's the best example we've had for over a year.
The Skyline GT-T is a hugely capable sports tourer with performance that will enable it to slay most cars in it's path, yet it still has refinement, a practical boot and looks that are still as fresh today, as when this model was first introduced in 1998 (Production of all Skyline R34's ceased in August 2002). Even as standard, they're hugely impressive and fun to drive. As they're now no longer in production and top examples are in short supply, demand has stayed strong in Japan and prices are still as strong today, as they were 2 years ago. This is good news, as it means prices are unlikely to drop significantly into the future (As Nissan isn't making any more turbo Skylnes until the R35 GT-R is introduced in 2007) and so these will continue to make excellent investments, especially in manual form, which is the more desirable spec. for driving enthusiasts!
This is a high quality fully spec'd manual ER34 Skyline GT Turbo complete with Tommy Kaira front bumper, alloy GT rear wing, plus carbon fibre sill trims, we have sourced - to compliment this car. Also fitted are 18" Nismo LMGT4 lightweight forged alloy wheels, with colour matched centres. A nice addition worth over £2,500 alone with tyres in Japan. With stage 1 tuning, this example is ideally prepared for daily reliable use in the UK.
Factory fitted equiment includes: Hicas 4 Wheel Steering (Providing improved turn in and cornering accuracy), Traction Control, ABS, Dual SRS airbags with leather SRS airbag steering wheel, Climate control Air Conditioning, rear wiper, UV Cut Glass, Window wind deflectors, Electric Windows and Electric Mirrors with Retract Mode.
Improvements over standard are as follows: Tommy Kaira original front bumper and alloy rear spoiler have been added since new. 18" Lightweight Forged Alloy Volk Nismo LMGT4 2 piece alloys complete with Bridgestone Potenza sports tyres of size 255/35 ZR18 and 225/45 ZR18 on the front. These alloys are some of the most desirable wheels for Skylines currently available in Japan. New cost for these rims and tyres in Japan is over £2,500. Wheels are in good condition, although please note being used - there are some minor scratches and marks (As shown in photos).
In conversions, we will be making one of the reversing lights into a foglight on this model, so it will look like a completely standard factory fitted item. Neat!

Note that we have sourced some original Tommy Kaira R34 GT-T carbon fibre sill trims, which are to be located at the rear section (See picture). These would be fitted in the UK. Alternatively,if preferred we can source and supply some FRP side skirts to send with the car instead, although there would incur additional painting and fitting costs of approx £250.00. Remember, we can supply any part to improve this car, from intercooler, ECU upgrade, injector, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and boost controller, cat replacement pipe, even a rear diffuser, Nismo clear indicators, B Pilar trims, replacement Defi gauges and much more - all at discounted prices compared to other suppliers! Performance wise, this car has had basic stage 1 tuning. The air filter has been replaced with a Blitz Sus Power metal mesh item. This provides both an improvement in response, as well as making the standard dump valve audiable through the open filter. Exhaust rear section (Cat Back) is a Blitz Nur Spec stainless steel unit. Suspension has been improved through the use of HKS Hypermax fully adjustable coilovers at each corner currently set to give a mildly firmer and progressive feel. Note that this example is also fitted with optional traction control in addition to other high spec. The sound from the 2.5L 6 Cylinder Turbo is subtle, yet indicative of the performance available, giving a deep tone throughout the rev range. The standard catalyst remains in place, keeping this car street legal. Factory Fitted Strut Brace is also present to further improve handling. Impressive Xenon Gas Discharge Headlamps are fitted as standard.

A high quality Alpine 2 x single DINCD/MD/Radio unit is fitted complete with a CD changer in the boot. Also there is a DVD Navigation system (Screen is to follow later with the car's owner's manual ,etc). Please note this Navigation system would not work in the UK without expensive conversion. Audio and Navigation equipment comes free of charge with the car. A non smoker's car the interior is in excellent condition with no faults to report. The entire interior is in excellent original condition, with no significant wear to seats, fitted mats or plastics.

Auction grade is 4 (Copy of auction sheet is with the pictures). The Exterior is in excellent condition throughout. Please note – as the pictures of this car were taken at the end of the day, the sun was low – so there are some shadows in the exterior pictures. These are NOT paint faults!!!

There's some minor damage to the edges of the front bumper's splitter. Also some scratches to the underside of the n/s sill - as pictures will show. These 2 faults will be repaired as part of preparation in the UK.
Please note: As 2 front tyres are on the legal limit, we have allowed a budget of up to £250 to replace these with the owner's choice of rubber in the UK, whilst the car's being prepared by ourselves. Rear tyres are around 3/4 worn and although legal, we would recommend changing these at the same time too.

Test Drive of this Skyline revealed no faults at all. It had strong performance with the traction control light flashing whist in 2nd gear, whilst we pushed the car hard to make sure there were no faults to be found (After warming it up thoroughly of course) - Exceptionally good performance for a near standard example is indicative of a good strong engine. Traction control switched off allows the car to drift under power.

Oil pressure at start up is over 4kg/cm2 and settles to just over 2kg/cm2 at idle when completely warmed. There are no rattles, no warped discs, no problems at all. Just perfect mechanical condition throughout.
Skyline R34 GT-R looks, superb performance (Approx 290 bhp) handling to match (uprated coilover suspension, Hicas 4WS, LStandard Torsen Limited Slip Differential, etc) with much lower price, insurance and running costs. These are excellent performance cars, complete with an engine closely based on the legendary GTR's RB26 - this one's fitted with a 2.5 litre RB25 instead complete with variable valve timing.
