Having come to us from recommendations of Newera's customers on the FTO Club, this example was bought from an order placed an order with us in January 2005 for a mint condition standard Silver FTO of low mileage. We found this car 5 weeks after the search was begun - being exactly what the customer was after - with very low original mileage and rare manual transmission as well as desirable ABS.

1995 (March) FTO GPX. 5 Speed Manual. Just 51,907 km (32,260 genuine miles) from new. Options include: ABS, Climate Control A/C, PAS, P/W, Remote controlled mirrors with retract mode, remote central locking, fitted mats, auxilliary gauges, light tinted windows.

The ashtray and cigar lighter are unused, although to be honest, there is a light smell indicating this car has been smoked in - in the past. This should dissapear with valetting whilst the car's being prepared in the UK.

Mechanically the car is completely standard throughout with no mechanical modifications. It's clear this has been a lightly used car - which was not driven hard, judging by the condition of the paintwork, interior, etc. Tyres are near new also. Auction grade is 4. Condition is outstanding and most of the paintwork is unmarked in any way. There are just some scratches as shown on the front bumper, as well as the rear. Also, there's some light scratches on the o/s side skirt and a small pin dent on the rear o/s quarter. These will be reapired as part of preparation in the UK to present the car to our usual high standards.
The rest of the exterior is mint. Note that the o/s headlight had some peeling laquer (Common on FTO's) so we have exchanged this with an as new spare headlight we had in stock, just attention to the finer details.

We were particularly pleased to supply and example of this quality and such genuine low mileage. Manual is also by far the best gearbox to take advantage of the Mivec's engine with, as gearchanges are quicker and so is acceleration. Having 5 gears instead of the Tiptronic's 4 means quicker acceleration and less power loss through the gearbox (Tiptronic's have torque converters). Only 20% or less of FTO's were made with manual gearboxes, so these help to make this a more desirable FTO. Of customers and friends who have had FTO's of both types, each has commented that manual is better than tiptronic.
