DESCRIPTION

Nowadays finding a good R32 GT-R is becoming increasingly hard as time takes it's toll and so few owners give these cars the care they deserve. Destined to become one of Japan's most prized classic cars the good well looked after & rust free chassis examples are strengthening in price as collectors continue to realise truly well looked after examples are becoming a rare breed. This example has been beautifully preserved and improved. The last owner purchased this car from Global Auto, this is detailed in the car's original history. Global has a reputation for supplying the best Skyline GT-R's in Japan. In addition to other tuning it's been treated to an expensive change from Grey metallic to Jade Green Metallic which works beautifully in combination with Sparco Racing 17" alloys. Examples as well prepared as this are hard to find nowadays. This example was sourced to special order for a U.S. Serviceman stationed in Germany who wanted an early example to be able to personally import to the U.S. once it's over 25 years old (Beginning of 2015).Performance improvements: Power & cosmetics have been improved for enhanced but sensible road use. Stage 1 tuning has been completed by Mine's with a ROM ECU upgrade running boost at a safe 0.9 bar. An HKS Direct Drive induction kit is also fitted. Earl's braided radiator hosing with anodized fittings. The Bee-R coilpack cover is a cosmetic addition. Note also there are upgraded pads at each corner and a brake master cylinder brace is also fitted. Exhaust is an HKS Priest Muffler in good condition. Clutch is a Racing Gear Single plate item complete with lightweight chromoly flywheel, to handle the increased power over standard with ease yet remain drama-free during use in traffic conditions. There is also an alloy oil catch tank & Nismo 1.3 Bar radiator cap. This car has basic stage 1 tuning which means the engine has plenty of trouble-free life to give. Ideal for a car going to the U.S. where there is less expertise for looking after a higher maintenance example. Timing belt has been changed approx. 20,000km ago and doesn't need changing again for a long time yet. It's also recently been serviced with new fluids incl. fully synthetic engine oil.
Suspension & Braking improvements: HKS Hipermax coilovers have replaced original dampers & springs. These provide an improved sports ride for road use giving flat handling at higher cornering speeds, without being uncomfortable. A Cusco carbon-wrapped aluminium strut bar has also been fitted at the front. This GT-R makes around 350 bhp (@ 0.9 bar) with improved handling and so the brake pads have also been upgraded to Project Mu items with new discs at each corner. Suspension is firmer than standard, but well controlled – driving the car over a bumpy country road it felt comfortable but compliant. Damping is currently set mid-way but for softer ride should be set to minimum of course.
Cosmetic improvements: Colour changed to Jade Metallic - with paintwork completed to a high standard, the only external modification is the mirrors - which are remote controlled Ganador items, also colour coded. Wheels are original Sparco Racing 5 spoke in excellent condition, with near new sports tyres of size 245/45R17. 19 Hex sports wheel nuts are also fitted, but not visible of course. A Z-Sport 320km/h speedometer was fitted new when the Mine's ECU was fitted (As this de-restricts the car from a 180km/h maximum speed as supplied from the factory). A Nismo white duracon shift knob, red stitched leather gaiters & handbrake lever trim & Momo Prototipo leather steering wheel with HICAS & Atessa boss are also fitted. Audio consists of a Sony CD/Radio of 200W power with USB compatibility & upgraded speakers at each corner. Note that Audio is un-tested and supplied free of charge with this car. We have also fitted a brand new full set of Nismo floor mats. Note that rear windows are factory tinted (Privacy glass).
Further Improvements available: Although this car needs nothing added, if wanted there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (We're here to help!). R32's look particularly good with full Nismo body options and  we can supply all otems to complete the set - colour coded and fitted, quite inexpensively - whilst the car's being prepared in the UK by RK tuning. If intending to improve performance we can supply all manner of tuning parts from a simple Power FC ECU upgrade with injectors, fuel pump & FPR right through to inexpensive upgraded twin turbos, brake improvements, etc. To further modernise the looks of this car, R35 GT-R rear badge, Newera orange Crystal/clear/smoked front indicators, LED Tail lights and interior improvements such as original Nissan pedal covers, etc. are all available, We can also supply wilder parts like Abflug front and rear carbon diffusers. All available tuning parts for BNR32 available throughout Japan can be sourced & supplied at discount from www.neweraparts.com
Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, sports velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, pedal rubbers, oil pressure, etc.- all indicate low wear and no abuse. Note that wheels have been religiously cleaned and kept free of scratches on the edges. Always a good sign!
Interior condition: From nearly 20 years of age the interior is in good condition, but as can be expected it's not perfect. As with most 32’s, the seat material has faded from UV light. There is also a small nick on the passenger door trim (See picture). When this car came to us the dash had some deformation around the centre vent and although acceptable - as we had a spare dashboard in stock, we changed it - making sure every single screw & fixing was connected & secured correctly to ensure it would remain rattle & squeak free.
Exterior condition: From having detailed the interior & exterior carefully, we found & noted all the minor bodywork faults - although these are only noticeable to a professional specifically inspecting for faults, they're all noted and where required shall be repaired:The rear spoiler has some cracks along the seams. Unusual to find this, but rather than repair, we have already sourced a good used rear spoiler which shall be repainted to match this car's colour before replacing the existing one. On the rear driver-side quarter there's a small line dent and a tiny bubble of corrosion to the very bottom corner. Rather than leave these, they'll be repaired and repainted also. Front bumper passenger-side corner where it meets the fender has some cracking to the paint. We'll have this painted too. Remaining faults are too minor to require paint, but we'll ask the paint shop to touch them in, to give a perfect finish:Small crack of paint on the driver's side fender where it meets the bumper. Small chip on the edge of the bootlid. 3 small blemishes caused by tree sap: 2 on the trunk, one on the roof. Finally, there's a small crack on the corner of the front lip spoiler. It's barely visible and will be fine as is (mostly noticeable from the underside of the car). Pictures of each of these items are also shown on the car's slideshow.
The above mentioned faults are complete in description but all minor but mentioned to give a total report.Note there is no corrosion on the underside and this car has no history of accident repairs throughout it's life. One thing we also noticed was how straight and original all exterior panels are and the almost complete lack of stone chips. These show ownership by mature owners who knew how to take care of this car.
Engine & Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test & can confirm it drives very well! It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Excellent oil pressure (( nearly 5kg/cm2 cold & 2.0 kg/m2 when warm) at idle shows this is an engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. Clutch feels as if it's got plenty of life the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchromesh wear found on these cars. We found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 350 bhp. The tightness of it's feel and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and it's clear to us this car has never been on a circuit.
Make no mistake - this is one of the best 1989-1990 R32's we've seen this year (& the only one selected to purchase by ourselves). Prices of top examples in Japan have already strengthened, so we're unlikely to find many more good examples like this in 2013, of any year now.
UK Includes all costs such as conversions, minor paintwork repair to rear quarter & pin dent removal (See pictures and comments on slideshow), valeting, road tax and new MOT (required for registration).
This car is already reserved but do Contact us to secure another example from our stock or source an alternative top condition quality R32 GT-R to order. Please note that due to the high quality of each example we source - our Skylines tend to be reserved quickly which is why not many are in stock at any given time.
Newera - Consistently recommended by tuners, GT-R & Skyline Owner's Club Members for supplying the best hand-picked GT-R's.
