This is an excellent condition entry level R33 GT-R for a driver who wants a high quality well looked after well equipped example for a lower budget. Aside from the Stage 1 tuning components, excellent mechanical state of health, most notable is this car's condition! The panels are completely straight and interior is similarly very tidy too. It's the best R33 you're likely to find for sale within this price range - if you're after a sensible reliable example for regular use. Modifications: : Volk Racing GT-C Face II wheels of size 18x9.0 +24 with good condition Falken Azenis ST115 sports tyres of size 265/35/ZR18. The suspension has been upgraded with top quality Ohlins coilovers, complete with alloy top mounts. These provide a firm yet compliant ride, greatly reducing body roll from standard, whilst improving steering feel and response. These are some of the best ( most expensive coilovers available or GT-R's). A Trust power extreme II cat back system has replaced the standard item - giving a deep and more bass filled exhaust note, without being excessively noisy. Note the uprated front mount intercooler and HKS Direct Drive air filter system too. Aside from improving air flow and filtration with washable filters, these allow the product of wastegate flutter to be heard. Gearknob is a titanium item by Nismo. Inside there's a Greddy turbo timer. Audio is a Carrozzeria (Pioneer) 45w x 4 Mos Fet amplified MD/Radio, complete with uprated speakers, including rear units. Audio equipment is supplied free of charge with this car.
Engine Drive: Excellent oil pressure (6.0/cm2 at idle when cold, 3.0kg/cm2 when at normal operating temperature. This is higher than usual - for a car of this age, an excellent sign of very regular oil changes and careful use. Engine and turbos, etc. have a long trouble free life ahead. The clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining (Standard unit). Brake discs are in excellent condition also with low wear. Test driving this example, we found it felt tight and very together. Idle is very smooth from start up, no rattles or squeaks from the interior, good smooth braking stability. It feels like a car that's never been driven hard and there is evidence this is the case, given that the paintwork is mostly original - with very fewstone chips gained over the car's life in Japan. Performance extras can be added if desired - and supplied at discount when purchasing this car. Although the exhaust is uprated, there's still room for improvement which wouldn't be very expensive: We'd recommend fitting an uprated HKS downpipe, cat replacement pipe, uprated injectors, with matched high capacity fuel pump, Profec B II boost controller, together with an Apexi Power FC and controller. Main Specifications: As standard, Brakes are Brembo at each corner. Boost is controlled by the standard ECU to 0.84 Bar. Please note there are some minor dents to the jacking points at the front of the car, this is common on almost every Skyline R32 - R34 due to weak design which damages when the genuine jack is used.Condition of body paintwork is as shown by pictures, excellent! There's some minor scratches to the front splitter. the nearside skirt has some touch in paint from previous scratches. Also on the n/s/f wing there's a small 2cm scratch as shown in pictures. Also, on the o/s quarter there's a very light scratch, as shown. Boot lid has some tiny scratches where a V-Spec sticker has previously been placed. Each of these minor faults will be repaired if the full UK en, to present this car in show condition.
Judging by condition overall this is the sort of car that's not been driven hard - where the owner would have polished regularly. The engine bay, steering wheel, carpets, indicator stalks, pedal rubbers, brake discs, exterior - all indicate low wear and careful use. All signs show this has been a Skyline that's been cherished and modifications are sensible to improve the car yet still allow it to remain relaxing to drive for daily use. An excellent very genuine example - which most importantly, will give trouble free perfomance at entry level.
