The Skyline GT-St type M coupe is an excellent package. With rear wheel drive and a willing DOHC RB25 6 cylinder 4 valve single turbo, this engine provides earlier response to it's twin turbo GT-R brother. Handling is sure footed and very capable - with Hicas 4WS to help provide excellent handling characteristics.

We wanted to find a high quality Skyline GT-St which carried a GT-R style bodykit, a high quality set of wheels, excellent bodywork and best possible condition - so we selected this example when it became available!

Exterior Cosmetic Improvements: This Skyline R33 GTS-t Type model has been fitted with a full R33 GT-R lookalike bodykit and 18" alloys. Condition and level of preparation of this example are outstanding. An original GT-R rear spoiler, GT-R replica front spoiler, sports front grille with mesh (same style as on a GT-R) and original option side skirts complete the bodykit. Nismo clear front and side repeaters help give the car a much more modern look. Wheels are 18" Prodrive (Prodrive wheels are linked to Bridgestone tyres in Japan) forged alloy 5 spoke items of 8J size of high quality. Tyres are of size 265/35/R18 and 235/40/R18 Bridgestone T's-02 sports tyres.

Original equipment: (Very rare) electric glass sunroof, tinted windows with privacy rear glass, fitted mats, climate control air conditioning, electric mirrors with retract mode, central locking, electric windows, power steering, rear wiper, Hicas 4WS. Note that the gauges are also originals from an R33 GT-R. Mileage is confirmed as genuine from the auction's history checks.

Uprated parts: Mechanically this Skyline is near standard, which makes insurance easier for younger drivers. An HKS panel filter has replaced the original. The exhaust system from the cat back is a Kakimoto Racing item. Having a larger style rear silencer, it's sporty, yet quiet too. Suspension springs are lowered progressive and uprated. Around 25mm lower than standard. Note the Cusco alloy strut brace fitted at the front too. There's a standard catalyst fitted, although this can easily and inexpensively be replaced with a straight pipe, available especially for Skylines. A Boost controller would also be useful to raise power a little more, in combination with an uprated ECU. Interior: A Recaro race style bucket seat has replaced the original - although if preferred we can source and supply an exchange original driver's seat to match - as original. A Blitz boost gauge is mounted on the corner of the windscreen as shown. The steering wheel is a small diameter MOMO "Race" item. An alloy gearknob is also fitted as well as a set of Razo alloy pedal covers. There is a Greddy turbo timer located below the steering column. A Kenwood DPX770 CD/MD/Radio player of high power (200W approx) is also fitted. Also fitted is a remote engine starter unit. Audio remote control equipment are included with this car free of charge. This has been a non smoker's car.

Auction grade is 4 (Auction sheet is available). This GT-R Lookalike is essentially in mint condition with almost no faults at all with the bodywork! Testament to the way this car's been looked after, there are no pin dents to doors or quqrter panels. On the front bumper there are some stone chips. This will be resprayed as part of our preparation work in the UK. There are 2 small scratches that have been oainted by the previous owner with touch in paint. One is located on the driver's door and another on the bonnet. These are too small to require repair as they're not easily visible and very small but are described here to give a full and accurate description. Interior is immaculate with no faults at all to report.
Test drive showed no faults at all. The clutch has plenty of life, exhaust is surprisingly quiet and the engine gives standard levels of performance, as to be expected with only mild improvements to exhaust system and induction - with boost left as standard. This means the car hasn't been driven hard at all. Note that oil has recently been changed too. Although it's very likely the original timing belt has been changed, there is no indication to show when and at which mileage - so to provide peace of mind, we'll be renewing the timing belt as part of UK prepatation kyline too.

GT-R looks for a small fraction of the price of a genuine R33 GT-R in top condition - priced at standard GTS-t money!!
