This example was bought to special order for an Italian customer wanting a very good hand picked example to cherish for many years to come. Nowadays finding a good R32 GT-R is becoming increasingly harder as time takes it's toll and so few owners give these cars the care they deserve. Destined to become one of Japan's most prized classic cars the good well looked after rust free examples are strenghtening in price as collectors have begun to realise pristine examples are becoming a rare breed. This example has been beautifully preserved. This very good example will appeal to someone looking for the very best they can get to either keep as near standard, or to use a great base from which to improve further to own tastes.
Performance and Cosmetic improvements: Power cosmetics have been improved for enhanced but sensible road use. Stage 1 tuning has been completed by Bee-R with a ROM ECU upgrade Trust e-01 Boost controller (With Digital display plotting) set at 0.9 bar. An Apexi Power Intake induction kit is fitted. There’s a high quality Apexi GT Spec intercooler and hard pipe kit also fitted. Also there’s a Blitz turbo timer fitted. Front pipe and exhaust (retaining standard catalyst) are both Apexi N1. This has a straight through type rear silencer with a central oval type silencer, so it’s unrestrictive, sporty, but not too loud. There’s a large 12 row Greddy oil cooler housed behind the bumper on the passenger side. Suspension improvements: JIC Suspension Project FLT-2 coilovers with spring rates (F12kg/mm rear 10kg/mm). These coilovers are high quality with adjustable damping and independent height adjustment. Rear suspension upper arms are by Nismo with uprated bushes; these give better rear geometry control under hard acceleration. Wheels are some of the most desirable of all for a GT-R; TE37’s in excellent condition, with Goodyear sports tyres of size 255/40R17. Locking wheel nuts are also fitted. This combination makes for around 370 bhp (@ 0.9 bar) and the car drives very well. Suspension is firm, but well controlled – driving the car over a bumpy country road it felt comfortable but compliant.
Note also the genuine Nismo bumper ducts bonnet lip at the front. Note that LED back-lighting has also been retro fitted to all the instruments. A Momo leather steering wheel has replaced the original and there’s a bespoke mounting boss. We also fitted a 15mm spacer to give similar positioning relative to the indicators as original. A black Duracon shift knob is also fitted. To the rear seatbelt mounting points is a 4 point harness. This keeps the driver firmly in place when driving fast. Audio consists of an Eclipse CD/Radio of 200W power. Audio is untested and supplied free of charge with this car. We have also fitted a brand new full set of Nismo floor mats. Old mats will come with the car as covers to protect the new ones.

Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS,　Central Locking, rear wiper,　sports velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets,indicator stalk, pedal rubbers, oil pressure,　etc.- all indicate low wear and no abuse.
Interior condition:From 20 years of age seats has some grubbiness (As with all RB26 GT-R's), the seats could benefit from being shampoo’d. As with many 32’s, there’s a bubbled section on the dashboard. This can be repaired by a specialist in UK (Injecting Evo Stik glue, spreading with use of light pressure then heating with a hairdryer to soften the vinyl and promote glueing is the usual method of repair. It’s best left to an interior repair specialist – being inexpensive to do). Exterior: This is a non-accident car since new. Bodywork is inoutstanding condition showing signs of having been well cared for. In keeping with the low mileage, it's rust free - with none of the rot often found on the rear arches or anywhere else on BNR32's, nor on the underside. The jacking points are not collapsed as is usual on most GT-R's, although one seam is bent slightly (Passenger side). The chassis rail also has some denting from where the car's been lifted to avoid using the standard locations. There is no cause for concern with the underside condition at all.
We found only minor bodywork faults as follows: On the rear spoiler there's some touch up paint that's been poorly applied to one of the vertical mounts. We will have the rear spoiler resprayed. The front lip spoiler has been colour coded and over time has been pushed. Although there are no chips to the surface, there are some thin stress cracks on the paint. Also on the Nismo bonnet lip there's a small blemish / scratch that's been touched in. The top of the rear bumper on left side has some very light blemishes. Each of these are too minor to require repainting, but are mentioned to give a complete report.
Engine Test Drive: The timing belt was changed just over 25,000km ago. Oil has also recently been changed. After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it　drives very well! It's gotstrong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Excellent oil pressure (( nearly 6kg/cm2 cold 2.5 kg/m2 when warm) at idle shows this is an engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. Clutch feels as if it's standard and the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchromesh wear found on these cars. We found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 370 bhp. The tightness of it's feel and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has rarely been on a circuit.
Make no mistake - this is one of the best R32's we're likely to have this year. Now spring is almost here, prices of top examples in Japan have already strengthened, so we're unlikely to find many more good examples like this in 2012.
