Nowadays finding a good R32 GT-R is becoming increasingly harder as time takes it's toll and so few owners give these cars the care they deserve. Destined to become one of Japan's most prized classic cars the good well looked after & rust free examples are strenghtening in price as collectors have begun to realise pristine examples are becoming a rare breed. This example has been beautifully preserved in addition to carrying some well chosen improvements.
Performance and other improvements: Power & cosmetics have been improved for enhanced but sensible road use using some of the highest quality components available. Stage 1 tuning has been completed with a ROM ECU re-map combined with a Splitfire earthing kit for improved spark plug performance. Intake has been enhanced with fitment of an ARC resonant airbox with two washable foam filters. For cooling there is an ARC plate & fin intercooler together with an HKS intercooler hard pipe kit. Exhaust improvements consist of Nismo stainless front Pipe & Kakimoto Racing Regu 06 & R exhaust which provide much improved flow over standard without being excessively loud. To enable increased power to be transmitted without drama, a Nismo Coppermix clutch is fitted (With plenty of life remaining).Suspension & handling modifications include KYB Climb Gear suspension, TEIN performance tower bar, 17” Buddy Club P1 Racing alloys (New full set of 245/40R17 sports tyres to be fitted as part of completion). Suspension is comfortable and firmer than standard, lower too. For the road it's well controlled – when test driving the car over a bumpy country road it felt firm but compliant. Exterior cosmetics & interior improvements consist of Nismo original front bumper intercooler ducts, Nismo white faced main instrument cluster combined with matching central cluster Nismo clocks to match. Genuine leather gaiters for shift & hand-brake are fitted. Other interior improvements include an Autometer water temp gauge & Carrozzeria 200W head unit. Audio is untested and supplied free of charge with this car. For aesthetic improvement we fitted a brand new set of Nismo fitted mats (5 piece) and a Tomei Duracon shift knob. Further Improvements available: As with all GT-R's there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his GT-R perfection (We're here to help!): If intending to improve performance, we can supply all manner of tuning parts, from a Power FC ECU upgrade with larger injectors, etc. right through a range of turbos (Used Nismo N1's are available inexpensively). To further modernise the looks of this car we'd recommend orange LED front indicators, matching LED (Nismo style) tail lights and reverse / foglights. We can also supply interior improvements such as original Nissan alloy pedal covers, etc. We also offer wilder parts like Abflug front and rear carbon diffusers, Nismo style side spats, bonnet lip, etc. All available tuning parts for BNR32 available throughout Japan can be sourced & supplied at discount from
Standard equipment includes:  ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets,indicator stalk, pedal rubbers, oil pressure, etc.- all indicate low wear and no abuse.
Exterior: At a time where rust is becoming the no. 1 worst problem with these R32 models with truly pukka examples becoming increasingly difficult to find - Most importantly, this is a completely rust free example with all original panels. Sills are intact & not collapsed from careless use of emergency jack and the bodywork, underside, interior & mechanicals are all well preserved throughout. Bodywork is in outstanding condition showing signs of having been well cared for. We found only minor bodywork faults as follows: Small scratches & dent on the nearside rear quarter. Rear bumper and rear spoiler have minor touch up marks & blemishes. These panels will be professionally repainted whilst the car is at RK Tuning. There are 2 small pin dents on the front n/s wing and one on the driver's door. Note also there are some scratches to the wheel edges from wear & tear over the years. These faults are too minor to require paintwork or repairs, but mentioned herewith to give a complete report.
Engine & Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test & can confirm it drives very well It's got smooth power, no rattling, near new feeling Nismo clutch and all signs of a well maintained car. Excellent oil pressure (5kg/cm2 cold & 2.5 kg/m2 when warm) at idle shows this is an engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. This car has been carefully maintained inclusive of timing belt & idler / tensioner bearings change, regular fully synthetic oil changes, etc. The gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchromesh wear found on these cars. We found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 350 bhp. The tightness of it's feel and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy. The ECU is re-chipped and although the car will run well on UK fuel, for safety & improved performance in UK we'd recommend fitting an Apexi Power FC and re-mapping for lower octane UK fuel whilst the car's at RK tuning for preparation. We have Power FC's in stock for BNR32 complete with the new type EL display if desired.
Make no mistake - this is one of the best entry level stage 1 R32's we're likely to have this year. This year prices of top examples in Japan have already strengthened, so we're unlikely to find many more good examples like this going forwards.UK Includes all costs such as full UK conversions, valeting, 6 month's road tax, 12 month's MOT & 12 month's comprehensive warranty.
