DESCRIPTION

Hi Mark,
Here's full details of the Impreza we have sourced for yourself, complete with pictures!
5 Speed Manual. Sti Version 2 Spec includes: Blueprinted Sti engine with "at least" 280 bhp, STi Intercooler, Carbon Fibre strut brace, Gold signature alloy wheels, rear wiper, STI rear spoilers (2), STi dummy driving light covers (There are no driving lighst fitted to STi Models as standard). Roof mounted aerial, Subaru original fitted mats. Hifi is the original Kenwood item. In the luggage compartment is the original tonneau cover and an elasticated mesh net. The interior is completely unmarked. It looks as if the owner drove mostly alone and on Motorways and was probably a small man - as the driver's seat is unworn and condition of all the interior shows no wear at all, not even to the steering wheel! This has been a non smoker's car from new too. Also there is the usual STI spec of P/S, P/W, A/W, Climate Control A/C, Power Mirrors, remote central locking, etc. Seats are of course STI embroided on the cloth of each front seat complete with half Alcantara suede. An STI logo is embossed on each front seat. All keys are included including the original spare. There is also the original remote central locking unit included.
Mechanically this car is completely standard, but is fitted with Prodrive dampers and uprated springs. These give a firm yet supple ride - and even better than standard road holding.
We test drive this Impreza - and are pleased to confirm it drives absolutely without fault. Sti 2 3 models were the examples with the largest turbos of all - for the different variants. It pulls very strongly from around 3,000 rpm all the way to the red line. The car feels tight and rattle free. Brakes pull the car up to a stop without any sign of warped or worn discs. The Clutch also has lots of life remaining. All signs show this has been a well kept and regularly serviced example. This car should provide many years of reliable high quality motoring!
The auction grade is 3.5 (Copy of auction sheet is attached). There are 2 marks of touch up paint on the roof, on positions shown. There are 3 small pin dents on the n/s/r door and also one on the o/s/r quarter, near the fuel filler door. Also, there's 2 stone chips a small scratch on the bonnet which have been touched in. Front bumper has some minor scratches on each corner too. On the rear hatch the WRX STI emblem has been removed. We have already sourced a replacement which we can either stick on before shipment, or send to you - to keep in case you'd prefer a more discreet look. Please note that the minor paint faults described will each be repaired as part of UK preparation, but are mentioned here for the purpose of providing a complete description.
Aerial is to follow later - together with any service history documents available (We only receive these in 2-3 week's time - if available). Please also note that the tyres fitted are winter type, which is not ideal for use in the UK. For this reason, as part of the udgetted £350 towards fitment of some good quality new tyres in the UK - as part of the OTR price.
