This stunning condition Skyline GT-R V-Spec has been lavished with Nismo cosmetic modifications together with stage 1 tuning and suspension upgrades. With complete recently added stage 1 modifications, plus various Nismo parts, this GT-R will make an excellent daily driver for the discerning owner who wants the very best Skyline sensible money can buy. Body panels are pin straight with excellent condition paintwork throughout. It's been impeccably kept and shows all signs of a car that's been gently used. These conspire to make a responsive and entirely usable road car for the UK, capable of a reliable 380 bhp with minor suggested upgrades below - or kept as is, producing around 310 bhp at current level.Performance Handling Modifications are all near new include: Volk Racing GT-C Face II dished forged lightweight wheels of size: 18 x 9.0 +18 with good condition Bridgestone Playz tyres of size 265/35/ZR18. The suspension has been uprated with fully adjustable TEIN Flex coilovers. The cat back exhaust system has been replaced with a stainless steel HKS Super Dragger system - giving a deep and more bass filled exhaust note, without being excessively noisy. A Nismo panel filter is fitted inside the original cool air fed air box. The intercooler has been replaced with a Blitz uprated item. Also fitted are Blitz Super sound blow off valves. These comprise modifications. Turbo boost remains standard, so combined with the uprated intercooler and exhaust, current power at 0.84 bar is around 310-320 bhp. To get more power at low cost, we recommend the following package: HKS stainless equal length front pipe, Stainless 80mm bore cat replacement pipe, HKS SPF air filters, Apexi Power FC ECU Controller and a Greddy Profec B II boost controller. These combined, will give a large increase in performance at 1 bar maximum boost as well as making the exhaust note a lot more aural! Cosmetic and interior modifications: IPF remote controlled driving lights, Nismo B Pilar carbon trims, Nismo rear spoiler end plates, Nismo side repeaters. Inside, there's a full set of Nismo fitted mats and a Nismo gearknob, as well as Impul pedal covers. Also a Greddy A pilar pod are two black face electronic Defi gauges, showing Boost and oil pressure, combined with a Defi Link II controller. Documentation shows a complete Nismo gauge cluster set replaced the original gauges at 54,128km (A picture of the original clocks is also available to prove authenticity) on 20th March 2002. Engine Test Drive: Excellent oil pressure (5.5/cm2 at idle when cold, 2.5kg/cm2 when at normal operating temperature. The clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining (Standard unit). Brake discs are in excellent condition also. Test driving this example, we found it felt tight and very together. Idle is very smooth from start up, no rattles or squeaks from the interior, good smooth braking stability. It feels like a car that's been well looked after and has not lived a hard life at all - as evidenced by the many pictures showing it's immaculate condition throughout.Main Specifications: Being a V-Spec model, the rear differential is electronically controlled by a seperate ECU. As standard, Brakes are Brembo at each corner. Boost is controlled by the standard ECU to 0.84 Bar. Also included as standard: Uprated SRS airbag steering wheel (Smaller than for 1995 GT-R models) Twin strut braces, battery located in the depths of the boot, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, velour seats, privacy rear windows, adjustable rear spoiler, original full set of fitted mats, etc. Note this example's got the deleted rear wiper option.
Auction grade is 4b (Auction Sheet available). We carefully washed and checked this car's paintwork. These are the faults found: Small stone chips on the bonnet, plus one chip on the leading edge of the roof. Some small stone chips on the lip spoiler. On the rear bumper there's a small chip also. Each of these will be professionally touched in. The front n/s wing has a small blemish. This will be repainted. The rear spoiler blade has been replaced with a midnight purple item. Although it looks attractive, if preferred we can repaint this to match the car's paintwork, or cover with carbon finish at no extra cost. Interior has no faults to report. Note no Hifi is included with this car. We are able to supply a used Japanese double DIN hifi of high quality from £100.00 Alternatively, we recommend fitting a UK unit of single DIN size. There's fitting plates and a blanking box included for this. The Defi gauges are not currently working - there's a wiring fault, it seems. We'll repair this as part of UK preparation. Please also note: A/C controls are presently located in the glovebox. This can easily be moved back to the centre of the dashboard if preferred.
Judging by condition of this GT-R V-Spec overall, this is the sort of car that's not been driven hard - where the owner would have polished regularly. The engine bay, steering wheel, carpets, indicator stalks, pedal rubbers, brake discs, exterior - all indicate low wear and careful use. All signs show this has been a Skyline that's been cherished and modifications are sensible to improve the car yet still allow it to remain relaxing to drive for daily use. An excellent very genuine low mileage example.
