DESCRIPTION
This is a genuine low mileage Skyline (R33) GT-R for the discerning person who wants the very best condition example available. It's not an example that's had significant tuning modifications. Most notable, is the condition of the bodywork on this example. The panels are completely straight and interior is similarly very tidy. It's the best R33 you're likely to find for sale - if you're after a sensible example of low genuine mileage for daily use. Modifications: Advan Racing RA3-DT forged lightweight wheels of size: 18x10+19 with good condition Dunlop Sp Sport FM901 tyres of size 265/35/ZR18. Please note, at present www.neweraparts.com also has some rare and very desirable used BBS LM Anniversary 2 forged alloys for sale, in excellent condition. The suspension is height adjustable with Bilstein gas filled dampers. A stainless steel cat replacement pipe's been fitted (Original cat also included) and the cat back system has been replaced with a Fujitsubo Legalis Super R system - giving a deep and more bass filled exhaust note, without being excessively noisy. There's a Nimso rear bumper fitted also, complete with a stainless shield to protect the bumper from heat. Front indicators are clear (D-Speed) as are the side repeaters (Nismo). Inside, there's a Momo SRS airbag steering wheel. Gearknob is by Nismo.
Engine Drive: Excellent oil pressure (5.5/cm2 at idle when cold, 2.5kg/cm2 when at normal operating temperature. The clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining (Standard unit). Brake discs are in excellent condition also. Test driving this example, we found it felt tight and very together. Idle is very smooth from start up, no rattles or squeaks from the interior, good smooth braking stability. It feels like a car that's never been driven hard and there is evidence this is the case, given that the paintwork is mostly original - with no stone chips gained over the car's life in Japan. Performance extras can be added if desired - and supplied at discount when purchasing this car, if goods can be shipped at same time as the car. Although the exhaust is uprated, there's still room for improvement which wouldn't be very expensive: We'd recommend fitting a boost controller, together with an Apexi Power FC and an uprated downpipe - to go with the existing modifications to the exhaust. Also fitting some air filters, such as Apexi Dual suction kit and perhaps some upgraded injectors. These modifications will give approx. 390 bhp - an increase of approx 70 bhp over current power output. Please see www.neweraparts.com for further details.
Main Specifications: As standard, Brakes are Brembo at each corner. Boost is controlled by the standard ECU to 0.84 Bar. Also included as standard: Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, velour seats, privacy rear windows, rear wiper, adjustable rear spoiler, original full set of fitted mats, etc. Note Nismo original bumper intercooler vents and bonnet lip are fitted, which give the front of the car a much more purposeful look, as well as providing more air flow to the intercooler.
Auction grade is 3.5 (Auction sheet is available). Interior is in excellent condition with only a minor nick to the passenger door trim. We feel it's too small to repair, so haven't added the cost to the price, but if preferred this can be added inexpensively. Please see picture. This has also been a non smoker's car.
Condition of body paintwork is as shown by pictures, excellent! The offside rear quarter has been replaced some time ago - Quality of repair is good, with perfect panel gaps. The only visible signs to show this has been carried out is a difference in sealant on the boot shut and where the sill is attached to the quarter panel. This was a cosmetic repair carried out to good quality, hence the auction grade of the car being 3.5 as opposed to accident grade. Please note there are some minor dents to the jacking points at the front of the car, this is common on almost every Skyline R32-R34.
Judging by condition overall this is the sort of car that's not been driven hard - where the owner would have polished regularly. The engine bay, steering wheel, carpets, indicator stalks, pedal rubbers, brake discs, exterior - all indicate low wear and careful use. All signs show this has been a Skyline that's been cherished and modifications are sensible to improve the car yet still allow it to remain relaxing to drive for daily use. An excellent very genuine low mileage example.
