DESCRIPTION

This one-owner from new GT-R has been modified by Nismo Omori. As Nissan's official tuning arm Nismo is probably the most respected of all Japanese GT-R tuners renowned for making very quick GT-R's with great road manners! This example's been improved to give it approximately 380 bhp. This a low genuine mileage example with excellent spec - in absolutely perfect running condition. A GT-R beautiful and unique GT-R with years of life in it!!

Nismo Performance Improvements: In combination with Nismo S-Tune sports air filter element (Cold air fed airbox is std), fuel pump and a new fuel pressure regulator, Nismo have replaced the ECU with their "sports Resetting" unit, allowing the car to tun more boost in combination with an increase in fueling. The exhaust is a stainless 304 Nismo R-Tune cat back system. This has a main bore of 70 80mm with a tail pipe size of 115mm. This exhaust is rated at 95dB so although it's unrestrictive and sports oriented, it remains civilised. The catalyst is also from Nismo. To improve braking, Nismo braided hoses are fitted in combination with Nismo R-tune sports brake pads at the front and rear. Also in the engine bay is a Nismo strut brace. Power is approx 380 bhp - with smooth power delivery and brakes work considerably better than standard BNR32 items. Other performance Improvements: Suspension modifications consist of a fully adjustable coilover set by ZEAL (A division of Endless Group, Japan). These are Function-S type, specifically designed for fast road and trackday use. Height is adjustable independently of spring preload and of course damping is also adjustable. Spring rates are F: 7kg/mm, R: 6kg/mm. This combination is firm yet compliant for road use. A Blitz R-VIT Type II unit is fitted. The R-VIT (Racing Vehicle Information Technology) Thisis a state of the art monitoring system that can read and display up to 20 different types of Real Timer information provided by the Nismo ECU.The R-VIT feature peak-hold recording, playback features, that can record and replay up to 99 seconds. Limits can be set in flash and audible warnings to notify the driver of different engine variables, thus offering excellent monitoring for the engine. A Defi 60mm black face boost gauge is fitted in combination with a Defi controller. This enables boost to be monitored, peak is recorded, etc (Note that other matching Black face Defi 60mm gauges can also easily be added). An Ultra turbo timer protects the turbos after hard use. An HKS intercooler hard pipe kit is also fitted.
Please note that although the car is mapped for Japanese fuel, it may need adjustment for UK European fuels. Usually Nismo Sports resetting ECU's work fine in UK with only some minor retarding of the ignition required. For road use this would be fine. Although this car needs nothing added, if wanted, there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (We're here to help). If intending to use the car regularly on trackdays, etc. we'd recommend fitment of an Apexi Power FC ECU Commander and cooling modifications. Newera Developments is able to recommend a tuner to carry out professional mapping to work with UK fuels on the customer's behalf. Parts can be supplied at discount from www.neweraparts.com - Ask us for suggestions based on your personal requirements when reserving this car!Aesthetic improvements: Ganador remote controlled sports mirrors (Painted to match the car) have replaced the originals. Nismo side skirt spats are fitted. Wheels are limited edition RAYS LE37's (TE37's with a special finish). Tyres are Advan Neuva AD07 (Very sticky road tyres of size: 245/40-ZR18. Note that each wheel carries not one, but two locking nuts. To further modernise the looks of this car, R35 GT-R rear badge, D Speed clear/smoked front indicators and Nismo style LED tail lights are available at low prices. See www.neweraparts.com for details!
Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, unmarked velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, oil pressure etc. - all indicate low wear!
Interior: It's very rare nowadays to find a BNR32 interior in such excellent condition. The single owner wsn't a smoker and probably quite small - judging by the interior's lack of wear and ageing throughout. A complete set of Nismo floor mats has been fitted. Note the R34 GT-R original option drilled alloy pedal covers too. Particular attention ( expense) has been lavished on the ICE installation: An Alpine mobile media station provides HDD music recording capability (It will record every CD you put in the car), as well as playing radio, CD's DVD's etc. TV system may not work in UK, however - as transmission frequencies are different. Note that the head unit's face is removable for security. A Nakamichi amplifier is professionally installed in the boot and all speakers are uprated, inclusive of seperate tweeters at the front and high power rear speakers on a custom built acoustic parcel shelf. Note also there's a CD changer in the boot. The owner was evidently careful to protect his car, so a good quality Clifford alarm is fitted (Rarely seen in Japan). This comes complete with 2 remote controls and naturally operates the doors, etc. All audio alarm equipment is supplied free of charge with this car. Steering wheel and shift knob are original leather covered items. If desired we can supply Nismo steering wheel (or other) and a variety of shift knobs are available too (See www.neweraparts.com). Note the light switch, mats, gear lever and handbrake gaiters, door trims, roof lining, etc. are all clean and unworn, in keeping with the low mileage this car's covered.
Auction Grade is 4.0. This is the grade given for a car which has had no prior accidents. The bodywork is in outstanding condition and shows signs of having been regularly polished and cared for. As mentioned before this car's been garaged all it's life too. In keeping with the low mileage, it's rust free - with none of the rot often found on the rear arches or anywhere else on BNR32's All we could find were some very minor stone chips on the front bumper, alloy bonnet and leading edges of the front wings. Also some very small scratches (Touched in already by previous owner) on the o/s/r quarter panel. We can provide a new touch up paint stick with the car. We did notice that the alarm's boot release was used instead to open the bonnet by remote control. We feel this is a danger in the event the battery fails, so we will be removing this and replacing the cable - to return to the conventional opening mechanism. Note that the timing belt, tensioners and pulleys were replaced by Nismo at 74,989km (46,605 miles) on 10th February 2006. A thick folder of instruction manuals, receipts, etc. is included with this car.Engine Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it drives very, very well! It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Being uprated, the brakes are also considerably stronger than standard - affording the sort of stopping power needed for a car of this level of performance. Excellent oil pressure (5kg/cm2 at idle when cold and 2.5kg/m2 when at normal operating temperature) at idle shows this is a strong engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. Clutch feels as if it's brand new and the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchro wear found on these cars. We test drove this example for around 45 minutes and found it felt tight and very together. Over rough bits of road the suspension felt comfortable and we noted there's absolutely no rattles. Feels like a new car in many ways. It pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 380 bhp. Being a one owner car from new, we know this car's been owned by a mature driver. The tightness of it's feel and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has probably never been on a circuit. It's one of the nicest feeling GT-R's we've driven in the last 10 years - and we'd recommend not modifying it further - but enjoying it as Nismo has set it up. Total cost of modifications paintwork to this car cost the last owner approx. £13,000 during ownership. All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving, rather than chasing maximum power. Expect this to be a very quick and fun car to drive with perfect poise and instant response! Includes all costs such as full UK conversions, 12 month's comprehensive warranty, valeting, cost of road tax and new MOT. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to do your own UK preparation, registration, conversions, etc, we can supply at £9,695 delivered to UK - ready to DIY prepare register. Please Contact us using the inquiry form for further information regarding this Skyline GT-R or to source an alternative top condition quality R32 GT-R.
