Nowadays finding a good R32 GT-R is becoming increasingly hard as time takes it's toll and so few owners give these cars the care they deserve. Destined to become one of Japan's most prized classics, the good well looked after rust free examples are strenghtening in price as collectors have begun to realise pristine examples have become an increasingly rare difficult to find breed. This example has been beautifully preserved and endowed with a wide selection of parts to fine tune improve every aspect of performance to provide a well prepared fast road / track spec GT-R. The sum of all parts fitted is considerable in addition to starting with a pristine well kept body. Clearly the previous owner loved his GT-R spent vast amounts on this car regardless of cost to enhance it's performance. Performance improvements: Power handling have been improved to make a car that's as adept for attacking favourite country roads as marking it's presence at track events. There's a recently completed fully blue-printed engine with all N1 uprated internals by G-Power, Japan making approx 470 bhp. During the rebuild many worn or likely to fail components such as the A/C compressor, turbo cooling piping, HICAS pump, etc. were replaced - a testament to the no-expense spared method through which this car was improved. The engine block was painted blue decorated with a custom green metallic / laquered engine cover surge tank. Engine improvements included: Nismo Engine mounts, Nismo oil pump, Nismo water pump, Nismo Sump baffles, Tomei Procams, SARD 534cc injectors, SARD 276 l/h fuel pump, Nismo fuel pressure regulator, HKS EVC V boost controller, G-Power ECU, Tomei Metal Intake exhaust gaskets, HKS Hard pipe kit, HKS SPF intake kit with red filters, Modified (slotted) twin turbo pipe (To reduce shuffling), Nismo N1 ball bearing turbos, Tomei Outlet elbows (Stainless steel), Trust front pipe, Metalit high flow catalyser, Fujitsubo Super Ti exhaust, Nismo Super coppermix twin plate clutch, Trust 13 row bumper mounted oil cooler kit with remote oil filter mount Earl’s fittings, Bilstein Street tune height adjustable suspension. Note all parts have been recently added - the rebuild was carried out less than 10,000km ago.
Cosmetic Improvements: Remember this example started out as an absolutely rust free example incl. underside with stunningly well preserved paint bodywork quality throughout.Recently it's received a brand new set of Prodrive GC-010G forged alloy wheels of size 18 x 8.5 + 23 with near new Yokohama Advan AD07 high grip sports tyres (245/40R18). Included are genuine N1 bumper intercooler ducts, N1 bonnet lip Nismo style side spats, Garage Saurus carbon bumper guard for exhaust, Side visors, HID headlight conversion. Inside there's a quality uprated audio system and a brand new Nismo floor mat set. Note also there's a New Racing Style lighter (To be added).
Further Improvements recommended: As this car has a remapped original ECU and this is set for use in Japan, in order to safely run higher levels of boost we'd recommend an Apexi Power FC, to be mapped for UK fuels. We can supply used or new (With latest EL type display on hand held controller) and would recommend RK tuning as an excellent no nonsense experienced tuner to fine tweak an existing base map. To further modernise the looks of this car, R35 GT-R rear badge, crystal orange/clear/smoked front indicators and interior improvements such as KEY!S / Nismo steering wheel, etc . Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, sports velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, pedal rubbers, oil pressure, etc. - all indicate low wear and no abuse.
Interior Condition: This has been a non-smoker's car and interior condition is excellent throughout. There's a JDM spec. DVD satelite navigation system. Under the self adhesive mount for the colour LCD screen there's a small piece of damage to the vinyl of the dash (See picture). We'll be repairing this before shipment, as we realise it's unlikely the new owner will want to have the screen in situ. The steering wheel is original. The previous owner wore rings, so these have marked the leather. We can supply a HICAS compatible steering boss inexpensively and have various steering wheels also available in excellent condition. Ask, when reserving this car - if you'd like to upgrade these items.
Exterior: White is the most sought after colour of all, since it beautifully shows off the natural curves of a BNR32's body. Condition of all panels, paintwork and underside are first class. The cars evidently been polished regularly and despite the tuning work, it's not been driven hard - judging by the lack of stone chips. The rear spoiler was over zealously polished and there's a section where the paint was polished through, so that'll be going off to the paint shop before shipping, to perfect. There's a few very minor faults to report - for the sake of complete description. These are: Very small pin dent on the front o/s wing. Very small pin dent on driver's door. Very small scratch on the boot lid and some touch up marks on the rear bumper o/s corner. Wheels have a couple of very light scratches on the edges only. None of these faults are large enough to require repair. Note the body and underside are completely devoid of rust. Try finding an example this well preserved for sale elsewhere we bet you can't!
Engine Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it drives very, very well! It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Excellent oil pressure ((4kg/cm2 cold 2.0 kg/m2 when warm) at idle shows this is a strong engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear with strong oil pressure, it's super smooth too. Clutch feels near new and the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchro wear found on these cars. We test drove this example for around 5 kms and found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and the cams make the engine sing well at top of the rev range. Running at 1.2 bar this car will produce close to 500 bhp whilst offering tremendous levels of braking and road holding. Make no mistake - this is a car that will send your adrenalin levels rocketting if you drive it to full potential.
