DESCRIPTION

Hi Ben,
Sorry for the delay in sending you these details. Here at last are full pictures and information on the Purple Skyline GT-R we have bought for you:
This is a near standard example as requested, which can easily be returned to completely standard specification.
Main Specifications: As standard, Brakes are Brembo at each corner. Boost is controlled by the standard ECU to 0.84 Bar. Also included as standard: Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, velour seats, privacy rear windows, rear wiper, adjustable rear spoiler, original full set of fitted mats, etc. Additional extras in the interior: Although a standard hifi unit is currently fitted, the speakers at each corner are high quality uprated items (Presumably the previous owner kept the hifi he'd been using for use in another car). A Grid T.S. Dancer Atessa 4WD controller is fitted, which allows the driver to select either full time 4WD, 2WD or standard setting. An additional boost gauge is neatly fitted to the A-Pilar, which gives a clearer indication of boost than the standard gauge, less conveniently located with the centre console instruments. On the dashboard is a Rev Speed Meter, which is used to monitor speed, acceleration, etc. I would recommend keeping the boost gauge, but the TS Dancer and Rev Speed Meter can be easily invisibly removed, if preferred.
Exterior is standard aside from the Nismo rear valence extensions and Carbon fibre Nismo rear spoiler caps. There are some Nismo stickers on the rear side windows, but these can of course be removed easily.
Exhaust rear section has been replaced with a Kakimoto 92 Decibel rated item. We have a standard exhaust rear section already in the UK which we will substitute with this item, instead - included in this car's costs. In the engine bay, there's a Splitfire earthing kit which can easily be removed. Also fitted is a Cusco alloy inlet piping kit, which would not affect insurance premiums, but can be exchanged with standard if preferred (Please note we'd have to find some ised piping to substitute with, so there would be some additional cost incurred for this). The only other uprated items are the horns and the radiator cap, which I'd recommend leaving as is.
Auction grade is 4 (Auction sheet is available). Condition of paintwork is as shown by pictures, absolutely outstanding throughout! The front lower spoiler has in the past been painted. There are some scratch marks below the paint, so we'll have this repainted again. On the underside of the n/s skirt there are some scratches, although these are not visible except from beneath. On the n/s quarter panel rear section there's a light dent. Also, the engine has previously been jet washed and this has caused some of the paint on the inlet manifold to be peeled off. Each of these faults will be repaired as part of preparation in the UK.
Note the absence of rippled panels or pin dents to each side, which would indicate the paintwork is all original and has been very carefully looked after. This is the sort of car the owner would have polished regularly, as well as avoiding parking near other cars in car parks. The engine bay, seats, steering wheel, carpets, indicator stalks, pedal rubbers, brake discs, exterior - all indicate low wear and careful use. This has also been a non smoker's car since new. Original 17" alloy wheels are fitted, complete with nearly new tyres and there are no scratches at all to the alloy wheel edges. Clearly the engine's been recently serviced, judging by how clean the oil is too.
Engine: Excellent oil pressure (4/cm2 at idle when cold, 3kg/cm2 when at normal operating temperature. The clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining (Standard unit). Brake discs are each almost new! Test driving this example, I found it felt tight and very together. Idle is very smooth from start up, no rattles or squeaks from the interior, good smooth braking stability. It feels like a car that's never been driven hard and there is evidence this is the case, given that the paintwork is so original and spotless - with no stone chips gained over the car's life in Japan.
This has been a one owner car since new. Clearly the last keeper polished it regularly to keep paintwork this good. All signs show this hasn't been a Skyline that's been driven hard and modifications are sensible to improve the car yet still allow it to remain relaxing to drive for daily use. We believe this car has been owned by a mature Japanese man,who has kept it garaged throughout most of it's life. All in all, an excellent example.

You will be wanting the full details of costs, so here's the information:
Car cost: 1,800,000 Yen. Auction Fee: 16,800 Yen. FOB Fee: 120,000 Yen.TOTAL FOB: 1,936,800 Yen.
FOB Fees cover the costs of transporting the car to storage yard, storage fees, deregistration, customs paperwork, customs clearance, translation of deregistration, shipping arrangements and loading onto vessel. This work is done by Yamagin Corp. who are the export company Newera Imports buys all cars at auctions through. The above figure of 1,936,800 Yen equates to roughly £9,950.Taking into account the cost of UK taxes, shipping, insurance, UK modifications, MOT, UK registration, minor paintwork, etc as described valetting, - The usive of our fee is calculated by our system as: £15,270. The following UK costs are not included, which you may want to consider: (1) Cat 1 Alarm Immobiliser (Cat 1 alarms immobilisers are available from around £330 £150 respectively).(2).Waxoyl to the chassis (£75). All prices would be + VAT.
You may also want to reserve a private number plate (See link to DVLA's number plate website from our links page). These are considerations which only need to be addressed as the car is about to arrive to UK. I'm pleased we got this one - and trust you'll agree - it's an excellent example. As ever, the pictures won't do the car it's full justice. It will look brilliant once fully valetted for your collection upon completion.
This car has already departed (7th August) aboard a dedicated car carrier vessel (Hual Transporter)- to arrive in Southampton around 2nd week of September. We expect it to be with our UK preparation facilities by the 3rd week of September, for completion around 2nd week of October (Bearing in mind it usually takes an average of 4 weeks to process a car fully upon arrival).
As detailed in "How our system works", the next payment needs to be paid as the car's shipped. Please ensure this payment departs your account in UK to Yamagin's account (details attached) by 17th August. I have attached Yamagin's account details and also information on how our system works, is shown after the car's pictures here.
You'll need to make a remittance of 1,936,800 Yen to Yamagin Corporation. Your local highstreet bank will be able to make this transfer for you. Alternatively, to get a more preferential rate, you can use the same international bank we use for remitting funds abroad. Please contact Worldwide Currencies. Contact there is Stephen Berry on 0208 464 5888. When calling, please quote reference "Newera Imports". They will be able to quote you the rate for the day you'll remit, then give you easy to follow instructions on how to proceed. When making your remittance, please quote reference:BCNR33-001674/Newera/Ben Briden This reference identifies your money to Yamagin as being from the owner of this Skyline GT-R.
Every Friday evening, Yamagin Corp. send me list of payments arrived - and from there I will be able to confirm to you the funds are cleared. There's no problem in sending funds abroad. It's completely reliable.
This will comprise the second payment. 3rd payment will be requested around the last week of August in preparation for the car's arrival - which will be balance of £15,270 - taking into account your initial deposit second payment. Funds for the second payment to be sent direct to Yamagin Corp. Japan must be sent for the exact sum above in JAPANESE YEN. Please do not send Sterling.
When you do make the remittance to Yamagin Corp, please send me a copy of the transfer receipt or confirm rate via e-mail, which will help me to trace the payment's arrival to Yamagin Corp and also it's useful if you let me know the exact exchange rate you pay- so I can work out exact costs, rather than a pessimistic calculation for final payment due later.
Further information will come with the final payment request, about the car's arrival, contact details for our preparations centre near Brighton, etc. It's plain sailing (excuse the pun!) from here on!
We hope you'll be delighted with the car we have sourced for yourself and therein enjoy ownership of your Skyline GT-R R33 for many years to come.
Best Wishes,
Miguel.
