For about 5 years front extensive experience sourcing these we've been predicting that 32 GT-R's were destined to become prized classics and now not before time - we're sadly seeing the best examples fetching increasingly higher prices in Japan, making it very difficult to buy replacement stock. It's a no-brainer that prices in other countries will rise sharply in the near future. The R32 GT-R is a playstation generation cult car and was built by Nissan to show off what it was capable of during the Japanese bubble economy and it's now become a legend, sold only in Japan with a sprinkling of examples in Australia officially. Many are now dead from neglect, abuse and poor quality modifications so there are few really nice examples left, even in Japan.
This example is to us the most beautiful black metallic example we've been able to source in years has been beautifully preserved and subtly improved. Black, especially - is a colour that usually suffers in Japan's strong sunlight because it's a colour that absorbs UV light.By contrast it's clear to us this car's been garaged much of the time. No dings on bumpers, virtually no stone chips, etc. It's condition is exemplary. Paintwork, as pictures will show is excellent because it hasn't lived outside. Black metallic is a very rare colour on 32's to boot.There are many features which demonstrate how well this car's been cared for by it's previous owner which are detailed below.
Engine Performance modifications. Having inspected this car very closely we can see the modifications are mostly all quite recently fitted, certainly within the last few years only. Someone has spent a lot of money on this car whilst paying close attention to detail. Power has been improved for enhanced but sensible road use. Stage 2 tuning has been completed by fitment of various parts including the following: Trust Airinx induction kit, HKS intercooler HKS hard pipe kit. We felt the yellow filters didn't look as good as red, so replaced with new ones. Exhaust consists of an Apexi front pipe a Apexi N1 Stainless 304 muffler in good condition. This has both a mid silencer and a straight type at the exit so it’s unrestrictive, sporty, but not too loud. To control fueling there is a Kakimoto Racing ROM ECU (Factory sealed) which gives power of around 380 bhp at 0.9 bar. Boost levels are controlled by a Greddy Profec B boost controller. To avoid turbo shuffle there are painstakingly well modified polished turbo intake pipes with a welded in vane. This stops the turbos shuffling at part throttle. Note the "Twin Turbo" has been deleted and the entire intake piping has been sanded smooth and then polished too. To keep the engine cool, there's a Trust oil cooler with remote oil filter mount. The large capacity oil cooler core is mounted horizontally under the intercooler where it can work well without risk of getting stone chipped. This is a specific kit for BNR32's made by Greddy. Also fitted is a KTS Radiator Top Hose. This combined with the thermostatically controlled remote oil filter mount (Allows oil to circulate when cold, but bypasses the oil cooler until oil is up to operating temperature) has all the fittings already in place to easily add electronic gauges should they be wanted at a later stage. Note we also currently have rare 3 gauge pods specifically for R32 GT-R's - ask when reserving this car!). The clutch is a twin-plate OS Giken item with plenty of life left yet. With a nice, tight gearbox with no wear on synchros good oil pressures of 2 bar at idle we expect this engine has plenty of trouble-free life to give. Brakes Handling: Brakes have been upgraded at each corner with original BNR34 discs calipers, which were recently rebuilt professionally repainted in Silver, with red Brembo logos. These logos have been lacquered over too and the calipers are in near new condition. The master cylinder is new too - an N1 item which has a larger bore cylinder for reduced brake pedal travel. There are braided hoses uprated pads at each corner and the relatively new discs also had their centre bells painted in gold. HKS Hypermax Coilovers are fitted. These provide a smooth and compliant ride without any undue rattles or noises. Very rare Buddy Club P1 Racing II - 2 piece forged 17 inch alloy wheels are fitted with brand new NS-2 sports tyres at each corner (we replaced the aged Potenza tyres shown in pictures as they were hard past their best) complete with Project Mu Racing wheel nuts. Also fitted are Cusco front rear strut braces. If you look at the pictures, you'll see a lot of attention to detail has gone into this Skyline GT-R.Cosmetic Interior Upgrades: Note the genuine Nismo bumper ducts, bonnet lip (Usually warped from corrosion of steel frame inside. This is a high quality plastic replica). Also fitted are Nismo spats replica rear spoiler lip. Note the original factory fitted rear privacy glass. The original headlights have been subtly modified where the inside plastic parts have been painted black. This enhances a more agressive look to the front and suits this car well. Inside, a Carbon leather Momo wheel with HICAS compatible steering boss Razo shift knob are fitted. As usual we have also fitted a brand new full set of Nismo floor mats. The red stitching on these goes well with the leather shift side brake gaiters handle trim which all include red stitching too. There is a Greddy 60mm boost gauge, plus original option 320km/h speedometer. Note this has also been a non-smoker's car since new.

Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, sports velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, pedal rubbers, etc.- all indicate low wear and no abuse.
We found only minor cosmetic faults as follows: On the roof there are some touch-up paint marks, where the paint has reacted with bird poop. No such marks are on the boot, or bonnet - but as the touched in parks are insightly, the roof will be repainted as part of full preparation whilst the car is at RK tuning, in Essex UK. Also on the rear spoiler there are some light drip marks we noticed could not be polished out, so we have earmarked this for repainting too. There are two very light pin dents on the front o/s wing - these will be removed by a dent specialist whilst the car is at RK tuning too. The wheels have a few minor scratches and the lacquer has aged a bit but they still look very sharp as pictures show. If it were us, we'd have these refurbished with dark Silver centres (RK tuning has good inexpensive contacts for this sort of work in UK - worth bearing in mind for the future perhaps). We can also supply new Buddy Club P1 decals when desired.
Engine Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it drives very well. It's got good smooth power and all signs of a well maintained car. Engine has no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. Clutch (OS Giken twin plate) feels as if it's got plenty of life the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchromesh wear found on these cars. Suspension is smooth and compliant and the brakes strong drama free. We found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing strongly all the way through the power range and is making approximately 380 bhp. The tightness of it's feel, lack of stone chips and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has never been on a circuit.
Make no mistake - this is the best black metallic R32 we've seen in years and that's not something we say lightly (If you look through our history you'll see we only select the best available examples for stock and there's less than a handful of black ones supplied). Prices of top Skyline R32 GT-R's in Japan are continuously strenghtening so we're unlikely to find many more good examples in 2014. Supplies of good 32's at affordable prices are drying up fast now.
