DESCRIPTION


The Nissan Stagea Turbo is extremely rare in RS Four S spec - This model has a factory fitted 5 speed manual with a Skyline R33 GT-R based 4WD system. As with the GT-R, drive is usually to the back wheels, with the Atessa system sending drive to the front wheels when the electronics sense that the rear wheels are slipping. There is also a HICAS system to help control rear end slides. The engine of the RS Four S is an RB25 derived Neo 24 Valve DOHC (Variable valve timing) straight six turbo, which as standard produced 280 bhp out of the factory. This resulted in a spaceous 5 seater with excellent load carrying ability combined with handling, road holding and performance somewhere between that of a Skyline R34 GT-Turbo and a Skyline GT-R! Performance Handling Modifications: Starting with a rare and desirable Stagea specification, this example has had a lot of money spent, mostly on cosmetic improvements, with some well chosen performance modifications thrown in for good measure. A full Masa M-34R front end conversion has been fitted comprising of: Lightweight FRP bonnet, FRP front wings and front bumper. Headlights are genuine R34 GT-R Xenon HID units (These alone are £2,000 new from Nissan!). A honeycomb mesh has been fitted in combination with Nismo front and side repeaters. A Hakosuka "GT-R" front badge is fitted to complete the transformation so that anybody looking in the mirror will see an R34 GT-R approach and be overtaken by something completely different to a GT-R from behind....Expect a lot of double takes when driving this car! Side skirts we're not sure who made them, they look quite a lot like D Quatro items. The rear bumper is a Nissan dealer original item from the Stagea range of body modifications of the "Days" range. The Neo 6 2.5 turbo engine has had some performance improvements in the form of an Apexi Power Intake induction kit, with a Calsonic front mounted intercooler and hard pipe kit replacing the side mounted original. The exhaust system as you'll notice is a twin silencer system. This is from Hasemi Sport, although it's no longer in production now. Combined, these modifications should be giving an additional 25 bhp over standard - taking power output to around 300 bhp. Suspension consists of coilover units at each corner by HKS. Wheels are Work Emotion CR Kai's in Matt Carbon MGM colour of 18" size, fitted with Goodyear Grand Prix M7R's. . Further performance upgrades: Note we are suppliers of all performance parts available from Japan. If you'd like to uprate performance further, we recommend fitting an induction kit, uprated ECU, 555cc injectors, boost controller and uprated fuel pump, which combined with a mild boost hike will see this car produce over 360 bhp. Further power would also be available from a n HKS GT-SS turbo conversion - to run up to 1.3 bar of boost and get around 450 bhp. Original equipment includes: RB25 24 valve turbo engine, original fitted mats, power steering, power windows, central locking, HICAS 4WS, Atessa 4WD, ABS, Dual SRS front airbags, climate control air conditioning, Factory UV cut glass tinted windows with privacy glass for the rear, wind deflectors, central locking, electric mirrors with retract mode, Interior comfortable seats 5 people for long journeys complete with reclinable 2 part rear seats massive load carrying ability. If you've been looking for the very best you can find - then you'll know this is it. Only the following minor faults to report: On each of the rear doors there are 2 small pin dents. Also, the door handle on the driver's door has some touch up paint. Although these are minor faults, they'll be repaired as part of our full UK though the last owner wasn't a smoker, there are some minor signs of a previous owner having smoked: On the driver's seat there's a 3mm cigarette burn (Hard to see). Also a small burn mark on the driver's door panel. Other minor faults (Too small to repair, but mentioned herewith to give a full accurate report) are a light scratch mark to the chrome door moulding on the o/s/r door, some scratches to one of the wheels (See picture) and a touch up mark to the passenger door mirror.
Test Drive: A 5km test drive revealed a car with no mechanical faults to report. Clutch has plenty of life left and brakes feel strong and disc-warp free There are clear signs this car's been well cared for and regularly serviced. Oil has recently been changed and timing belt was changed at 100,000km (62,000 miles). Mechanically it's in excellent condition. Strong power with good response, and all signs of well maintained Stagea. Clearly anybody spending this much money on improving this car looked after it too.
