Bayside Blue Metallic.

DESCRIPTION

This GT-R has been improved with stage 2 tuning to give it approximately 400 bhp yet still allow it to remain easily drivable and usable for every day use. This a low genuine mileage example with excellent spec and a high quality colour change to the gorgeous Bayside metallic blue originally introduced in 1999 for the R34 GT-R! It's also of low genuine mileage - so there's plenty of life left in this top example of an R32 GT-R Skyline.
Aesthetic improvements: The paintjob on this car is the most stunning thing about it. An excellent choice of colour that suits this R32 GT-R perfectly! Quality of paint is excellent. Note the door shuts, bootlid, etc. have been repainted. Cost of this in Japan is approx. £2,500! At the rear, LED clusters have been fitted, which noticably improve the look of the rear. Note there are also original Nismo intercooler vents, bonnet lip and side skirt spats just forward of the rear wheels in addition to optional original Nissan wind deflectors. Privacy glass tinted rear windows are also included. Near new and unmarked lightweight forged Nismo LM GT wheels of size 18 x 9.5 + 14 with Falken Azenis sports tyres of size 275/45-ZR18 each less than half worn are fitted at each corner too.
In this case, the original rear spoiler has been removed and the holes professionally filled. We can either supply an original R32 GT-R rear spoiler (Painted fitted at under £200.00), or if preferred, a carbon GT rear wing. Also available are D Speed clear front indicators and more, at low prices. See www.neweraparts.com for details!
Performance Improvements: Whilst not stressing the engine excessively and allowing it to remain drivable as a daily use car, this GT-R has had mild modifications to enhance it. A pair of HKS 2530 turbos have recently replaced the originals, which gives this car the potential to make approximately 450 -500 bhp with relative ease. HKS Super power flow induction filters have replaced the standard airbox. The intercooler is a Greddy uprated design. Fueling has been partly improved with an HKS fuel rail and a SARD Type R fuel pressure regulator, which improves fuel flow, however - injectors are still 480cc standard items. To further improve breathing, the exhaust system has been uprated with a high flow stainless steel Veilside type IV system from the cat back. Twin HKS super sequential blow off valves are also fitted. Samco inlet outlet radiator hoses are fitted and the radiator cap is an Apexi Gt Spec 1.3 bar high pressure unit. There's also an oil cooler fitted behind the nearside bumper vent complete with alloy shrouding. Currently, running without a boost controller, boost is set by the ECU at a conservative 0.8 bar, which is around 370 bhp with these HKS turbos. The ECU's been re-chipped, to combine with the uprated turbos, but as we cannot be sure of what chip it runs and how it's been mapped, to maximise and safeguard performance in UK, a brand new Apexi Power FC controller will be included in the price. We further recommend fitting an equal length stainless front pipes and catalyst replacement pipe, a boost controller and other modifications such as uprated injectors and fuel pump and HKS Twin Spark Amplifier. These will give between 450 - 500 bhp depending on boost settings. For added reliability of high boost will be regularly used, we would also recommend a complete Tomei Power top end gasket set - also available at discount. (For further information click on www.neweraparts.com). Please note that although we are including the Power FC as part of the car's price, mapping cost not included. We are able to carry out professional mapping to work with UK fuels on the customer's behalf, in addition to any other desired tuning work at only £45.00 + VAT per hour.
Suspension units are by RG: Racing Gear. An excellent kit for Skylines, as they're firm, yet supple and compliant for road use whilst giving excellent control. Rear suspension arms have been uprated with Cusco pillow ball upper links, Nismo lower arms and alloy subframe collars and spacers. This combination nicely firms up the control of the rear end. At the front, there are uprated tie rods, which improve steering precision. Nismo upper links are also fitted at the front. Original suspension arms are also all inside the boot. Differential is also uprated with a mechanical type - possibly 1.5 way.
Brakes: Brembo R33 GT-R front callipers with uprated Project Mu SCR Pro slotted discs have replaced the original items at the front. Pads are uprated to sports compound at each corner. Brake hoses are braided Project Mu items. To aid brake feel further, a Cusco master cylinder brace is also fitted. This combination gives a strong performance upgrade, to cope with the extra power potential available.
Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, remote controlled door mirrors (Note retract mode is not operational), rear wiper, unmarked velour seats, factory tinted privacy rear glass, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, oil pressure etc. - all indicate low wear.
Interior: Blitz URAS limited edition blue faced 60mm electronic gauges showing oil temp and turbo boost are neatly fitted in a Greddy A pilar dual gauge pod. A Blitz FATT DG turbo timer is also included. ICE includes a Kenwood 50W x 4 MOS FET MD/Radio with integrated CD changer controller and security removable face. Speakers are also likely to have been uprated. Note: Audio equipment is included free of charge with this car. Also fitted are alloy pedal covers and gearknob. The original speedometer and gauge cluster is documented as having been changed at 84,000km for a white faced Nismo cluster. Actual total genuine mileage of this car is 53,492 miles from new. The existing speedo will be calibrated to show this as the total, whilst the car's being prepared by ourselves. Note, that the Nismo cluster was fitted on 7th March 2005, presumably around the time many of the other relatively new modifications and paintwork were carried out. This is of benefit - as the car has been near standard until only recently, meaning it's not had lots of hard use over a long period.Interior Condition: The interior is in excellent condition. This has been a non smoker's car. There are no faults to report at all. Seats are unworn, as are steering wheel, light switch, mats, gear lever and handbrake gaiters, door trims, etc. all in keeping with the low mileage this car's covered.
Auction Grade is 1. This is the grade given for a car which has had extensive modifications The bodywork was originally white, but has been changed at high expense to metallic blue. As shown by pictures, condition of paintwork is very good. We washed this car and checked the bodywork thoroughly noting all faults. There is a small chip on the fuel filler cap. Also, a couple of small chips on the boot lid. Front lip has minor stone chips and there's also a small single stone chip on the front bumper as shown in pictures. Each of these will be professionally touched in. Also, on the front o/s wing there's a small blemish. This will be repainted. Finally, on the Nismo bonnet lip there's a small crack on the paint. This is too small to warrant repair, however is described and shown in pictures to provide a complete report. Note that stickers on doors can be removed if preferred, at no additional cost. As with all cars we prepare it in the UK, presentation will be A1.Engine Test Drive: Car drives well with silent rattle free suspension, strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Being uprated, the brakes are also much stronger than standard - affording the sort of stopping power needed for a car of this level of performance. Excellent oil pressure (5kg/cm2 at idle when cold and 2.5kg/m2 when at normal operating temperature) shows this is a strong engine in good health. Clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining. We test drove this example for around 10 minutes drive and found it felt tight and very together. It pulls strongly from around 3,500 rpm all the way through the power range and is making approximately 370 bhp with current spec. With the uprated Power FC fitted in the UK, expect around 400 bhp, or 450 - 500 bhp (depending on boost settings) if the further upgrades recommended above are chosen. Note these are available at maximum discount if ordered together with the car. Total cost of modifications paintwork to this car cost the last owner approx. £8,500 diring the last 18 months. With many new modifications having been added recently, it's not been used hard at all. All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving, rather than chasing maximum power. Expect this to be a very quick and fun car to drive with perfect poise and instant response. Includes all costs such as full UK conversions, replacement Power FC ECU Controller, 12 month's comprehensive warranty, valeting, cost of road tax and new MOT. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to do your own UK preparation, this car's available at £10,565.
