RX-7 Last Generation model. High Spec Tuned by RE-Amemiya.

This is the first RX-7 we have sourced in quite a long time, especially as a post 1999 model with low mileage which is the most desirable of all for all it's additional final revisions. It's been tuned extensively by RE-Amemiya for fast road use and carries a lot of very desirable upgrades.
We originally sourced this RX-7 around 1 year ago for an experienced RX-7 enthusiast based in Japan who has not only looked after it well, but also improved it further. It's only because he's not found the time to use it as he'd intended that we bought it back for stock. Being the spec. it is, we couldn't help but drive it around 300km ourselves and can confirm it's a nimble but fast very well sorted example.
Original production was on 25th July 2000 as Type RB in Chaste White with 5 speed manual it's been enhanced with RE-Amemiya and Scoot modifications mainly, along with other improvements from quality component suppliers in Japan.
Engine Tuning: Based on a low mileage factory built 13B, RE-Amemiya replaced the turbos with a single Trust TD06 25G kit for fast response. This conversion also included a Trust exhaust manifold hard piping kit with Samco hoses, Trust Type R blow off valve, Trust Airinx Filter, Greddy intake elbow Trust External Wastegate. This is fitted in combination with a custom V-mount intercooler Koyo Type Z aluminium radiator, RE-Amemiya Air seperator tank, HKS Twin power ignition kit, uprated fuel pump, power steering fluid coooler, RE-Amemiya heavy duty clutch an RE-Amemiya Dolphin Tail exhaust (Cat back) with removable tail baffle. An Apexi Power FC (For 5th revision model) and commander are fitted, with mapping up to 0.9 bar. Currently the HKS EVC boost controller is set to 0.8 bar which gives approx 380 bhp, with more available combined with good response from the TD06 turbo.
Footwork: NEW KTS SC Damper System ∑ with external reservoirs combined with new SWIFT 16kg/mm springs give excellent stability handling. The Scoot front bumper feeds ducting to the front brake discs which run Endless CC-Rg brake pads. Also fitted is a complete set of braided hoses. Wheels are RE-Amemiya 17" items in excellent condition, shod with good quality Advan AD07 sports tyres of size 235/40R17 front 255/40R17 rear.
Exterior: Scoot Sports replica carbon bonnet, Scoot Sports Front Bumper, RE-Amemiya H11 Sleek Lights, 3D GT Wing track type tow hook. The front fenders have been rolled in to allow for lower ride heights.
Interior: Bride Zieg III BN Sport Model Low Max FRP full bucket seat with Bride LF Low Max seat rail (-40mm), NEW Fortune D1 Spec 80mm Deep Cone Leather Steering Wheel - Blue Stitch combined with a short Steering Boss. Cusco 7 point Roll cage (Bolt-in), Cusco 40mm roll bar padding, Willans 4 point 2" Harness, battery relocated to the boot. OEM Version VI White face instruments, Green Illumination. Defi 52mm White face Boost, Water and Oil, Temp and Oil pressure gauges with Link II controller / logger. RE-Xtreme Custom boost gauge mount, Knight Sports Oil Sensor Attachment, Kenwood Audio. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, power steering, ABS, passenger SRS (Driver's side is obviously removed following fitment of replacement steering wheel), central locking, electric windows, twin oil coolers, Torsen LSD, powerful 4 wheel disc brakes, updated rear light cluster, etc. Note the rear wiper delete option and non privacy glass at the rear. There's a luggage cover fitted to keep prying eyes out.
Bodywork Condition: Having been run quite low used for fast road driving, the front bumper has some chips scratches to the underside. There is a small dent on the n/s quarter panel. On the boot lid there are some (Currently covered with white plastic self-adhesive sheet) additional holes drilled for a previously fitted wing. The front fenders have been rolled to allow for lower ride height for the circuit and has resulted in some cracking to the paint. Ride height has now been set to sensible road levels. Each of the above minor faults is to be professionally repaired by our designated UK bodyshop as part of full preparation to present the car to our usual high standards, but is mentioned to give a complete report. Note also there are some small chips to the carbon bonnet's gel coat but these are too small to require repairs. Interior is in good condition with no faults to report, aside from the side panels for rear seats not being fitted. We will include these seperately together with the car to complete the interior trim.Note that further upgrades can be supplied for this car, both new and where available, used in good condition. For example, we can supply a used set of Volk Racing GT-C 18'' wheels in exchange as well as Fujita engineering carbon side skirts, other bumper designs, etc. We can even fit a complete bodykit conversion from RE-Amemiya if desired, such as this example completed last year for a customer in UK. Checkout for ideas on further improvements that can be fitted in Japan before shipping (Saves a lot on shipping costs!)
Drive: As mentioned from the beginning, not only was this car kept by a knowledgeable caring RX-7 enthusiast (Well known in RX-7 circles as RE-Extreme) over the last year, but being no strangers to RX-7's ourselves (We own two highly modified examples too) we've driven this car and can confirm it's very well sorted. Not tuned for maximum possible power, more for response handling it'll make an excellent fast road or trackday RX-7 with which to scare the living daylights out of lesser so called performance cars. This is a driver's car that's been well enhanced for a capable experienced RWD driver.
It would take a good while to tally up the total cost of making an RX-7 this special from scratch, not least inclusive of labour costs and the base car (A low mileage 2000 model RX-7) in today's money over £25,000 worth of parts workmanship went into this car in addition to the cost of a good base 2000 model low mileage RX-7. We hope this car will go to someone with previous RX-7 ownership experience and maturity who can appreciate and continue to look after it.
