This GT-R has been improved with stage 1-2 tuning to give it approximately 370 bhp at present, yet still allow it to remain easily drivable and usable for every day use. It's a low genuine mileage example with excellent spec and a wide array of high quality street spec. modifications that enhance and improve this car well.
Aesthetic improvements: The paintjob on this car is the most stunning thing about it. An excellent choice of colour! It's of Burgundy Red metallic. Quality of paint is excellent. The front bumper is an original TBO unit and the rest of the bodykit comprising side skirts and rear spats are genuine items from Trust (Gracer). Nismo styled front intercooler vents are moulded into the front bumper, to give more air flow to the intercooler. Also, there's a Nismo bonnet vent. Headlights are original N1 type, although these have also been further improved with an HID kit for main beam. Original lightweight forged alloy BBS LM wheels are fitted with with Eagle Revspec RS02 sports tyres of size 255/35/R18 each near new!To further improve this car cosmetically, we'd strongly recommend an LED Nismo style'd rear light set and clear or smoked front indicators, as these will modernise and enhance the car's safety and comfort at night! Performance Improvements: Whilst not stressing the engine excessively and allowing it to remain drivable as a daily use car, this GT-R has had mild modifications to enhance it. Induction is taken care of by HKS multy layer foam SPF filters, which provide excellent filtration with high flow characteristics. An alloy set of hard pipes are used in the engine bay to feed boost from the ARC uprated intercooler into the twin turbos. Spark plugs are Greddy Iridium items of heat rating 7 (Normal). To further improve breathing, the exhaust system has been uprated with a high flow large bore stainless steel front pipe combined with a stainless steel "cruise" performance (Rated up to 800 bhp) exhaust system from the cat back. The ECU has been replaced with a complete Apexi Power FC unit, complete with a hand held FC controller, able to display up to 8 different parameters, from fuel injector duty to inlet air temp. Set at a conservative 0.8 Bar boost, mapping has been carried out for UK fuel and the result is 270 bhp at the wheels (Approx 370 bhp at the flywheel).Braided hoses are fitted to help improve brake feel. It's light and progressive in use, meaning it's near new. There's a remote oil filter mount for easy service access. Note, there's an HKS turbo timer to cool things down after every drive.
Suspension has been improved to give fine handling, without the expense of road comfort. To start, the front tension rods have been uprated with pillow ball items, which improve steering feel and response. At the rear also, the subframe bushes have been replaced with alloy items, which contribute further stability and fine steering responses. Each coilover system is by Greddy. These are high quality fully adjustable items and are near new. An excellent kit for Skylines, as they're compliant for road use, yet they give excellent control in combination with silent top mounts. Note there are uprated An alloy Cusco front strut brace is also fitted.Brakes: Uprated Project Mu sports pads are fitted at each corner, to give improved bite and strong performance at up to around 800 Deg C. A project Mu brake master cylinder stopper is also fitted in combination with braided hoses to give improved feel response also.
Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode, rear wiper, velour seats, factory tinted privacy rear glass, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, , indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, oil pressure etc. - all indicate low wear (4.5 kg/cm2 at cold start, with 2kg/cm2 at idle when warmed - shows excellent engine health).
Interior: There's a Momo steering wheel complete with a Works Bell alloy quick release steering mount (Excellent for safety, as you can take the steering wheel inside the house!) and a lightweight Nismo gearknob. For sounds, there's a decent quality Carrozzeria single DIN MD/Radio MOS FET 45W x 4 unit fitted. A full array of Nismo uprated main dashboard instruments have been fitted since new, complete with a 320 km/h speedometer. There's also a Defi 60mm electronic boost gauge - also, complete with the Defi Link II controller. This item makes it easy to uprate to have more Defi gauges, for example - matching oil pressure, water temp and exhaust gas gauges. Interior Condition: The interior is in excellent condition. This has mostly been a non smoker's car, as confirmed by an unused cigar lighter and a clean ashtray with no residue from cigarettes. Note there's an easily removable cigar lighter expansion socket unit also fitted. There was a hole worn in the plastic of the driver's heel. We have therefore fitted a full new set of tailored high quality Nismo floor mats, to go with this car (Black, with Nismo logo). Exterior Condition: Having now arrived to the UK, this car's been expertly prepared by ourselves with the few minor cosmetic faults shown in pictures taken care of so the car's in top condition throughout.Engine: Excellent oil pressure (4.5/cm2 at idle when cold 2kg/cm2 when warmed - at warmer Japanese exterior temperatures). Clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining. We test drove this example for around 10 minutes drive and found it felt tight and very together. It pulls strongly from around 3,500 rpm all the way through the power range and is making approximately 350 bhp with current spec. Makes for a very quick road car! Note that the timing belt has been changed at 36,445 km (22,650 miles), on 5th April 2000, It's evident this car's been well loved maintained regardless of cost.Total cost of modifications paintwork to this car cost the last owner approx. £7,500! All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications carefully selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving - Expect this to be a very quick and fun car to drive with perfect poise and instant response.
