Skyline GT-R (R32) Stage 2 modified - Nismo Turbos ++!!

This GT-R (R32) V-Spec has been modified with top performance components to stage 2 to produce a stunningly well prepared car for street use. It's in absolutely outstanding condition throughout and likely to be the very best condition R32 GT-R's for road and occasional track use currently available. This is a V-Spec model, made from February 1993 to commemorate the GT-R's 3rd year successive victory in the Japanese Group A race series, so as standard it came with full Brembo brakes, but this car's been considerably improved since..!
Performance Power Modifications: Turbos are uprated items from Nismo. These are larger than standard in size and have uprated steel internals, instead of ceramic - so they can withstand greater boost pressures. A hard pipe kit runs from the intercooler to each turbo. Intercooler is an HKS uprated unit. Head gasket is replaced with a heavy duty metal item. The ECU is already replaced with one of the most user friendly for the UK - an Apexi Power FC complete with hand held controller. A Blitz Dual solenoid electronic boost controller is employed. Exhaust consists of a MINE'S stainless steel equal length downpipe, a MINE's high flow stainless steel catalyst and a Mine's stainless steel exhaust. These modifications combined enable this GT-R to make a reliable 400 - 470 bhp depending on boost used. A Greddy boost gauge is mounted on the A Pilar for easy monitoring. In order to handle the power upgrades, the clutch is now a 2 plate unit. The take up is still progressive - so this is nearly new. Note that twin plate clutches are no heavier than standard in application. On the centre console there is a MINE's uprated boost gauge. In addition there's also a Greddy turbo timer fitted.Brakes consist of original V-Spec Brembos with Project Mu SCR-Pro uprated drilled and slotted rotors mounted on alloy anodised bells at the front, complete with uprated sports pads. Performance of brakes is very good with no signs of warping or any significant wear at all. A Cusco brake master cylinder brace helps give maximum feel to the brake pedal as well as reducing pedal travel.
Suspension Handling Modifications: Wheels are Nismo LM's of size 18" 2 piece lightweight forged alloys. Quality Bridgestone Potenza sports tyres of size 245/45/ZR18 are fitted to each corner. These wheels are manufactured by RAYS and wheelnuts are also produced by this company.At the front there's a MINE's strut brace. Suspension has been upgraded to Ohlins adjustable units, - some of the highest quality items that have been made for Skylines, ideally suited to road use and track-day sports applications.. These units are fully adjustable for damping and ride height and are currently on a medium, compliant and comfortable settings.
Modifications to this car are comprehensive and as a bonus the Apexi Power FC is an ECU that can easily be remapped for UK fuels (We will arrange this with GT-Art as part of UK preparation of this GT-R). There's not much more that could be done to improve this example. Having looked over the car carefully, here are some suggestions as possible further improvements: Oil Cooler and remote oil filter kit, Uprated injectors, HKS Kansai Carbon fibre engine cover, vernier pulleys and a Greddy clear cam gear cover, clear front indicators, Carbon fibre Nismo type intercooler vents.... Aside from the first 2 items, most of the items we'd put on would be for further improvement in cosmetics. Please see for further ideas.
Original factory equipment includes power windows, central locking, climate control air conditioning, power steering, ABS, Hicas 4WS, Atessa 4WD, remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode, privacy windows in the rear, rear wiper, original fitted mats, etc. Interior is completely unmarked! Seats look as if they're nearly new. Unusual to find an example with an interior this good!!! This has been a non smoker's car. Note that the hifi has been uprated at considerable expense! There's a complete high power setup on this car including a huge Alpine amplifier in the boot, complete with no less than 4 Alpine cross overs. Speakers are also high quality component pieces by Alpine. The head unit is a top quality Addzest CD/Radio unit. The sound quality is - needless to say excellent, although it's more about quality of sound than maximum bass! In all - the audio installation alone is worth approx. £2,500 in Japan. Audio equipment is supplied free of charge and without warranty. Note that the white lines / tint covering across the back window are made of a seperate and easily removable later that's simply secured at the corners, over the back window. The carpet in the boot has some marks, as shown on pictures. Not very significant, but mentioned in order to give complete info - New carpet is available inexpensively through
Auction grade of this GT-R is 4. (Picture of original auction sheet is available). Condition is - as pictures will show - excellent! The front lip spoiler has been colour coded and has some minor stone chips and scratched. Fairly normal on any GT-R! On the bonnet and n/s/f wing there's some blemishes on the laquer. The laquer on the door mirrors and rear light surrounds has also turned matt (It's common for these plastics on Skylines of this colour to fade for some reason). Finally, there's 3 small stone chips on the roof and n/s C-pilar. Each of these faults will be professionally repaired - so the car will be presented in top condition, to our usual high standards. These faults are described herewith so a full and frank description of the car is given. Note that the n/s door has been repainted at some point. Paintwork quality is good - although to the trained eye this is visible when looking carefully. The rest of the bodywork is excellent throughout. As you'll see from photos of the car underneath, it's very clean there too - with only some denting to the front jacking points (As on nearly all GT-R R32 - R34 models!!) Please note the front wheel rims each have some minor scratches.
Test drive of this GT-R and could find absolutely nothing amis. It runs and drives perfectly - in keeping with it's low genuine mileage.Boost is 0.9 - 1.0 Bar although with these turbos, it can go to 1.4 bar provided mapping is set to go this far! The car pulls strongly throughout the rev range with a characteristically healthy sound from the engine under load, when it gets to 6,000 rpm it takes on a more agressive note and pulls harder as a result of the uprated turbos. Handling, braking, clutch, etc. are all perfect. It drives faultlessly. The suspension is firm, yet dampens bumps with compliant comfort. Engine is especially sweet with oil pressure of 40 kg/cm2 when cold and 25kg/cm2 when up to normal operating temperature - this is a sign of a very good, healthy GT-R engine. Oil is relatively clean although it's due for a change, so we'll be carrying this out as part of preparation also.
The colour is a a deep red metallic, that has evidently been regularly polished to keep it shiny and in top condition. It's a rare hue and it looks absolutely stunning!! The Nismo alloys suit the car very well too, giving it a classy, awe inspiring look! Parts are liberally spread over this car with the likes of Mines, Apexi, Ohlins, HKS, Alpine, Nismo and more. The cost of all the parts improvements fitted to this car are in the region of £11,000 - £13,000 in all - without accounting for the extra costs of labour!!
This GT-R will be completed to perfection by ourselves in our new workshop near Brighton, where it will be modified for UK use, paintwork repaired as described, oil service, remapping to UK fuels by GT-ART, MOT'd taxed and supplied with 12 month's comprehensive Motorcare warranty. A deposit of £1,000 secures this car.
