Bayside Blue Metallic (TV2)


This R32 Skyline GT-R has been extensively modified extensively for fast-road track use whilst keeping power to sensible levels for reliability. Tuning with increased fuel pressure, higher boost, intake exhaust modifications in combination with a KS ROM ECU give it approximately 400 bhp yet still allow it to remain easily drivable and usable for every day use. Expensive instrumentation, top quality Aragosta suspension and braking improvements with an attention to detail have combined to make an integral connoiseur's GT-R with no expense spared (Over £35,000 spent). It's been treated to an expensive change from Grey metallic to Bayside blue in combination with a genuine Trust Gracer bodykit and 18" RAYS 2 piece alloys. Examples as well prepared as this are hard to find nowadays.
Engine Performance Improvements Whilst not stressing the engine excessively and allowing it to remain drivable for most conditions ranging from city traffic to trackdays, this GT-R has had a wide array of carefully selected performance modifications as follows: Trust hard pipe suction kit (replaces original "Twin-Turbo" piping, etc), Greddy intercooler hard pipe set, HKS camshafts vernier pulleys, Greddy clear pulley cover, Greddy front pipe, Metalit high flow catalyst, Apexi exhaust control valve (Exhaust noise is controllable from the driver's seat), Kakimoto Racing Hyper 2000 Full Mega N1 stainless 304 exhaust, KS ROM ECU, Apexi AVC-R boost controller, Greddy remote oil filter mount with 16 row oil cooler Earl's fittings, Tabata Dual core copper high capacity radiator, Cusco oil catch tank (With a special bespoke bracket to make removal cleaning easy), Ogura twin plate clutch with light-weight flywheel, Billion VFC pro fan controller, Nismo uprated engine gearbox mounts Nismo clutch slave cylinder (For easier actuation). There's a Greddy cooling panel also fitted, colour matched as are the cam covers - with a silver finished centre cover. Total spent on these improvements alone is in excess £8,500 in parts alone. Although it's not needed at below 0.9 Bar boost, for higher performance, we'd recommend fitting a plug play Apexi Power FC ECU Commander and can advise supply other upgrades if higher performance is your goal. For further information please ask us or visit! Suspension, Braking wheels have each received attentive improvement. Aragosta has become Japan's best quality off the shelf performance suspension, adopted by Top Secret and many other tuners for the quality of ride and control both on off the track. These have 12 step damping adjustment, independent ride height adjustment at each corner, aluminium anodised body and pillow top mounts (silent). Spring rate for BNR32 is 7kg/mm front 5kg/mm rear. Also included are ARC (Advanced Recoil) Pipe Stabiliser uprated anti-roll bars front rear including pillow drop links, Cusco front strut brace, Midori pillow front tension arms and RAYS 18" 2 piece forged wheels shod with new 245/40R18 sports tyres combine to provide high level road track performance. Braking modifications consist of R33 GT-R Brembo calipers and discs at each corner with uprated pads, braided hoses and a Cusco brake master cylinder stopper. Over £4,500 was spent in handling braking improvements.
Aesthetics Original colour was grey metallic (KH2), meaning the engine bay's colour doesn't look out of place in combination with the Bayside Blue colour change (TV2) - something rarely found on BNR32's. The door shuts, underside of bonnet, boot lid, etc. have all been repainted. Rear spoiler is a rare ARC bespoke adjustable alloy kit fitting directly to original BNR32 mounting points. Bodykit is genuine Trust Gracer, with a Nismo front bumper genuine bonnet lip. Headlights are N1 type, modified with HID for main beam. Over £4,500 was spent on improving the bodywork of this 32 GT-R. To further improve looks we'd recommend adding clear front indicators, a carbon front intercooler surround carbon front lip spoiler. Interior Improvements Inside, the modifications have similarly been added with a no expense spared attitude: Defi white faced 60mm gauges for oil temp, oil pressure water temp are housed in an Omori angled 1 DIN mount complete with user adjustable warning data logging Defi controller. There's a white faced HKS electronic boost gauge Autometer racing rev counter with shift light are complimented with a matching Nismo white faced meter set (Speedo reads to 320 km/h). Note also the Apexi exhaust valve controller, turbo timer Billion fan controller. Speakers are uprated, although the head unit is old and would benefit from modern replacement. All these interior modifications have been neatly and professionally wired in positioned. Driver's seat's been uprated to a Recaro reclinable SPG with bespoke adjustable Recaro seat rail. Momo Race steering wheel, Splash HICAS steering boss, Razo alloy pedal covers, Nismo floor mat set (new) Willians 4 point harness eyebolts for circuit use complete this car's interior. Over £3,500 was spent on inside improvements. Note we can supply another black Recaro SPG seat rail from stock if you prefer two!Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode, rear wiper, velour seats, factory tinted privacy rear glass, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, oil pressure etc. - all indicate low wear.
Condition Report: Engine: Excellent oil pressure (5/cm2 at idle when cold, 2.5kg/cm2 warm). Clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining. Test Drive: No faults at all to report. Suspension is firm but compliant. On the open road it's a superb car to drive. We took this example out for around 10 minutes drive after warming up fully whilst photographing it, and found it felt tight and very together. It pulls strongly from around 3,500 rpm all the way through the power range and is making approximately 400 bhp with current spec. Makes for a very quick well sorted road car! The previous owner was obviously fastidious about keeping his car well and was a non smoker. He was careful to touch in small stone chips with perfectly matching TV2 paint, polish regularly, etc. The front PVC lip spoiler has some grazes and damage to the lower section, but has been repainted. Front bumper's paint chipped and cracked in a few places, but has been well touched in and isn't in need of further repairs. On the n/s quarter panel there are 2-3 small pin dents. Driver's door handle (Aluminium) has some bubbling to the paint. Again not enough to require repair, but mentioned to provide a complete report. Please view detailed pictures. We feel each of these faults are too small to require attention but can have them repaired at trade cost in UK if preferred. In the interests of keeping this car affordable, we haven't added un-necessary repair costs for these minor cosmetic blemishes. Note the start button isolator switch on the dash have been disconnected, since these would interfere with an alarm or immobiliser. The neatly removed wiring has been left in the glovebox. Switch can be put to other use by new owner.
In all, well over £21,000 has been spent just on parts without counting the car's base cost, labour, etc. so around £35,000 has been spent in all on this unique Bayside Blue R32 GT-R. Condition's excellent with no bodywork corrosion, or usual signs of neglect as often found on these older GT-R's and this car represents a stunning combination of parts to make a very enjoyable well put together Skyline.
