DESCRIPTION

This GT-R was sourced to order - for a customer who wanted the best example of a grey R32 we could lay our hands on, at below £11,500 months of searching to find, but eventually we came up with this gem - one of the best R32's we've ever found. Since importing, this car's been with our customer for 12 months during which time it's had further improvements, both cosmetic and performance, as well as being meticulously cared for - by our workshop, Newera Developments. In all, over 12 months, approx £7,500 has been spent on this car, with receipts itemising everything done. The customer's since found that an Evo 6 Tommi Makkinen (Also supplied by ourselves) is better for his needs, and has therefore asked us to store and sell this GT-R on his behalf. Please note that most of the pictures used are those we took before this car left Japan. It's still in the same pristine condition, but has had some additional extras which are mentioned below, but may not appear in the photographs.
Aesthetic improvements: Enkei Racing NT03 forged lightweight alloy wheels of size 17" are fitted at each corner. The bonnet is an HKS Kansai carbon fibre item, complete with a central vent - although this has been blocked to stop water from corroding the front section of the engine. Nismo intercooler vents are fitted to the bumper. The engine bay's been dressed with a full HKS Kansai Kevlar cover set, plus an ARC titanium strut bar.
Performance Improvements: Whilst not stressing the engine excessively and allowing it to remain drivable as a daily use car, this GT-R has had mild modifications to enhance it as well as keeping it reliable. The clutch is uprated with a 2 plate unit - altIt still feels fairly new, as it's not very sharp in feeling at all - which gives ease of drivability. The gear shift is a Mine's sport shift kit, which gives a more direct feel without becoming significantly heavier. A Tomei shift knob's also been added. The airbox is a cold air fed, 2 element type ARC alloy unit. The intercooler is a standard unit. Note there's also a high capacity oil cooler fitted in front of the radiator - complete with a remote (Easy access) oil filter mount beneath the car. The radiator's also a double capacity unit! There's a small additional cooler also located in front of the radiator to cool the front transmission. In front of the battery is a Bee-R alloy oil catch tank. The exhaust system has been uprated with a large bore stainless steel downpipe and a full - large bore exhaust system. A cat replacement pipe is also fitted. A removable rear silencer baffle is included. A Blitz dual solenoid boost controller is also fitted into a recess cut neatly into the dashboard trim - above a SARD turbo timer. A Mine's digital LCD boost display is also included. On the centre console are a pair of Mines uprated factory fit gauges to show oil temp and turbo boost. To the right of the steering wheel is a switch which allows the 4WD ABS to be switched off, so the car becomes strictly 2WD only. This can be used for say carrying out burnouts, or for drifting, etc. The fuel pump's uprated and the ECU has been replaced with a Mine's Rom rechipped unit. Ignition's spark is improved with the use of Splitfire coil packs. Note also an ARC oil cap is fitted (not shown in some pictures).Suspension, handling and braking: Suspension has received attention and uprating. Coilovers are high quality racing spec TEIN RE units complete with pillow ball upper mounts and full-range adjustability. Springs are also uprated. The suspension is currently set for a firm ride, yet is comfortable enough for road use. Expect very much improved handling over standard with these. A Nismo 1.5 way differential enhances drive from the rear wheels and the HICAS has been deleted, with a solid bar in it's place, so as to avoid any twitchiness on the limit and at track days. At the front there's an ARC titanium alloy strut brace, whilst at the rear there's a Juran item. A rear mounted HKS Kansai roll cage is also fitted, complete with foam padding - to give enhanced rigidity handling. A 4 point harness is also fitted, although a complete set of front and rear seatbelts remain too. Note that uprated front tension rods are also fitted - these have solid rather than rubber bushes, which will enhance steering feel and response over standard. The brakes have been uprated with Brembo R33 callipers discs front rear, which give the car a lot more stopping power than standard. To improve pedal fee, stainless braided hoses have replaced the standard rubber flexible lines, at each corner and there's a Tomei brake master cylinder stopper too, for added pedal response.
Standard equipment includes: Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, rear wiper, velour seats, optional wind deflectors, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, seats, steering wheel, carpets, gear lever, indicator stalk, light switch, pedal rubbers, etc. - all indicate low wear and careful use. This has been a non smoker's car. The interior is amongst the very cleanest we've seen in any R32 GT-R. The hifi is a Kenwood CD/Radio unit.
Auction Grade is 4. This is one a handful of the cleanest best R32 GT-R's we have found over the last 2 years. Paintwork has a deep shine to it and it's clear this car hasn't driven hard, but instead regularly pampered. It's been beautifully cared for. The usual areas of poor paint quality on R32's such as the plastics are all immaculate. Panels are straight with none of the usually found wavyness from repairs, or respraying. It's a perfect example throughout! Engine has excellent oil pressure (4kg/cm2 at idle when cold 2kg/cm2 when warmed to normal operating temp). It pulls strongly from around 3,500 rpm all the way through the power range and is making approximately 370 bhp with current spec. Makes for a very quick road car! Clutch feels as if it has plenty of life remaining. Note the absence of corrosion to the underside - although there is some minor damage to the sill front jacking points, as is common on all R32 GT-R's. As another sign of the care this car has had -none of the wheels have any damage at all to report. No kerbing scratches, or signs of neglect. Since arriving in the UK the car's been extensively waxoyl undersealed. It also now has a full Cat 1 insurance approved alarm of course.Total cost of modifications fitted to this car are approx. £8,500 excluding labour to fit, etc. All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications carefully selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving - Expect this to be a very quick and fun car to drive with perfect poise and instant response. Remember that with R32 GT-R's. quality is paramount. Get the wrong car and you'll quickly find the bills racking up!If you're sick of seeing poor examples and are after the best R32 GT-R available, we strongly recommend seeing this pristine example.OTR Price: £11,590. Includes 12 month's comprehensive Motorcare warranty valeting. Note that MOT is due in October, although a new MOT can be supplied with the car when sold.
