DESCRIPTION

For about 5 years & front extensive experience sourcing these we've been predicting that 32 GT-R's were destined to become prized classics and now not before time - we're sadly seeing the best examples fetching increasingly higher prices in Japan, making it very difficult to buy replacement stock. It's a no-brainer that prices in other countries will rise sharply from here onward. The R32 GT-R is a playstation generation cult car and was built by Nissan to show off what it was capable of during the Japanese bubble economy and it's now become a legend, sold only in Japan with a sprinkling of examples in Australia officially. Many are now dead from neglect, abuse and poor quality modifications as well as heavy rust from inappropriate use & there are few really nice examples left, surprisingly - even in Japan.
This example is a result of months of searching, to select only the very best completely rust free Skyline R32's we come across - to offer from our stock. Starting with a completely rust free & well preserved example, the previous owner had the car colour changed from original KL0 Silver to WV2 Dark Silver Metallic (This is a later shade that was only offered on Skyline R34 GT-R's in the last 2 years of production (Not to be confused with the dark silver KR4 also found on 1997 R33 GT-R's and some 1999 R34 GT-R's - which is a lighter shade). It's clear to us he also liked upgrades of highest available quality. This car is loaded with Nismo upgrades.Performance modifications: Power & cosmetics have been improved for enhanced but sensible road use, but with an easy option to upgrade to more power - since there are Nismo Turbos already fitted.Fueling is handled by a Mine's ROM ECU, air filtration handled by an Apexi Power Intake induction kit. The ARC Intercooler is a plate & fin type, which was one of the most expensive intercoolers available, offering good high speed flow & improved intake charge cooling. An HKS Hard Piping kit effectively stops the problem of piping coming off at higher boost levels too. An HKS Oil cooler with thermostatic remote oil filter block (oil bypasses the cooler until it gets to proper working temperature) is fitted. The oil cooler element is mounted as HKS intended, on the front panel, behind the grille. Note also the Earl's fittings included in this kit. A Nismo front pipe is heat-wrapped to help make the catalyst work at best efficiency and a Nismo Cat back exhaust with Carbon-wrapped Tail pipe is also fitted. This has a mid section silencer too, so it's sporty but not too loud at all. With a nice, tight gearbox & strong oil pressures of 6 bar cold and 2.5 bar at idle we expect this engine has plenty of trouble-free life to give. Note: Although it will run fine as is, as always, we would recommend having a power FC fitted and mapped (We carry a stock of used ones precisely for this) whilst the car is at RK tuning, for enhanced running on UK fuels with improved power & response. Ask us for further upgrades to get 500 bhp easily. Currently it makes around 370 bhp (@ 0.9 bar of boost) with improved handling.
Suspension & wheel improvements: Nismo S-Tune suspension has replaced original dampers & springs. These provide the best choice for UK roads, offering better body control and handling without being uncomfortable or noisy. Being discontinued they're very sought after in Japan. A Nismo strut bar has also been fitted at the front. Suspension arms have also all been upgraded with Nismo items carrying uprated bushes. These aren't cheap & their inclusion on this car confirms the attention to quality the previous owner concentrated on.  They include: Front upper link set, front circuit link set (including tension rods), Rear A Arm set, Rear upper link set. Wheels are 17" RAYS Gram Lights 57 alloy wheels. Sports tyres are all approx. 40% worn and offer good sports performance for the road.
Cosmetic & Interior Upgrades: Note the genuine Nismo bumper ducts and (replica) rear lip spoiler. Original Nismo rear lip spoilers tend to warp front corrosion, no such problem here. Inside, a Nismo Carbon shift knob is fitted and there's a Momo Race steering wheel and leather handbrake & handle too. A 320km/h speedometer is fitted, to allow the car to have no speed limiter whilst still being able to display speeds above 180 km/h. Especially on 32's we recommend leaving the speedo in km/h so the HICAS (Which is speed sensitive & fed from signal of the speedometer itself) works as designed. A Greddy 60mm boost gauge is also neatly fitted into a Greddy A-Pilar mount. Note the glass is foggy and the display needle is not pointing to zero with the engine off. We can replace with another item if desired, free of charge - but please note Greddy gauges are discontinued. Alternatively it may be possible to dis-assemble, clean, reset the needle and re-assemble. The new owner should let us know his preference please.Further Improvements available: Although this car needs nothing added if wanted, there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (We're here to help!). R32's look particularly good with full Nismo body options and as this example already comes with the front ones we can supply the side spats too (Made from FRP, or carbon fibre). As the ARC intercooler is covered by the number plate, we would recommend either an automatic folding front plate mechanism, or a side mount kit, so the intercooler can be fully exposed. We can also supply wilder parts like Abflug front and rear carbon diffusers and rear spoiler flap. (With free shipping if supplied with this car). Standard equipment includes: ABS, Hicas 4 wheel steering, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, sports velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, pedal rubbers, oil pressure, etc. all indicate low wear and no abuse.
Condition report: This car's paintwork has evidently been well cared for by it's previous owner. It's been either garaged or kept under a cover. It's also clearly been regularly polished and maintained. There are no areas to report of any damage. Even the front lip spoiler has no significant scratches or stone chips. Inside, there's a bubble on the dash, near the instrument cluster caused by Japan's hot summers. Also we noted 4 screw marks on the underside of the steering cowl panel, near the driver's left knee and a couple of small nicks to the door card on the driver's side - These would not usually be noticeable, but are mentioned to give an accurate & complete report. Note this has been a non-smoker's car since new. Cigar lighter and ashtray are unused since new. Condition is amazing throughout for a car that's now 22 years old.
Engine & Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test & can confirm it drives very well! It's got good smooth power and all signs of a well maintained car. Excellent oil pressure (( nearly 4 kg/cm2 cold & 2 kg/m2 when warm) at idle shows this is an engine in good health. Engine has no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. Clutch (original) feels as if it's got plenty of life the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchromesh wear found on these cars. We found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 370 bhp. The tightness of it's feel, lack of stone chips and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has never been on a circuit.
Supplies of good 32's at affordable prices are drying up fast now & prices of top Skyline R32 GT-R's in Japan are continuously strengthening. As such our prices will be forced to continue to rise in 2015, in line with having to pay increasingly more for top condition replacement stock. These cars are now firmly on collector's car category and will continue to appreciate.
