This R32 GT-R was picked for it's quality and condition for our stock. It's been modified by Mine's, one of the most respected of all Japanese GT-R tuners renowned for making very quick GT-R's with excellent road manners. This example's been improved to give approximately 370 bhp at 0.9 bar of boost. A considerable level of tuning and parts have been fitted to make this a fast, yet comfortable road car, in addition to a quality full respray in a dark Silver metallic, as used by Nissan on the later spec Silver examples of R33 GT-R's. Some won't like the wheels on this car, but we have some very desirable 17'' Panasport G7 wheels complete with good tyres which would suit this car beautifully - and are currently available at low price for this car, or we can supply a whole range of wheels from www.neweraparts.com
Performance Improvements: HKS SPF induction kit, Greddy hard pipe kit with ARC blow off valve, Greddy Intercooler, ARC radiator, Greddy stainless 304 front pipe, Nismo Weldina stainless 304 cat back exhaust, Mine's VX Rom ECU, Trust Profec B Spec Boost controller, Greddy turbo timer, Brembo R33 GT-R uprated brakes at each corner, KYB Climb Gear uprated struts, Cusco front strut brace and Apexi rear strut brace. Hicas has been deleted on this car, with the plumbing removed. At the rear there's an uprated differential, which feels as if it's 2 way (Silent in operation). Note there's a toggle switch on the dash. This disables the ABS 4WD for when the desire to steer from the rear arises. Inside there's also an HKS boost gauge, Momo Corse steering wheel and a (Now discontinued) Nismo horn button. Note also the Nismo 260 km/h speedometer - which has been fitted to this car since new (Interesting to note the first Nismo Speedos for 32's were 260 km/h limit, then as tuning developed and these cars became faster through the years, the display was increased to 320 km/h!). Although the car is mapped for Japanese fuel, it may need adjustment for UK European fuels. Usually Mine's VX ROM ECU's work fine in UK with only some minor retarding of the ignition required. For road use this would be fine. Although this car needs nothing added, if wanted, there's still more things the new owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (We're here to help). If intending to use the car regularly on trackdays, etc. we'd recommend fitment of an Apexi Power FC ECU Commander and cooling modifications. For more power, we'd recommend upgrading the injectors to 700cc items, fitting a larger fuel pump (280 litres per hour) and a Nismo fuel pressure regulator in combination with a pair of Nismo air flow meters (Rated for use up to 775 bhp). A cat replacement pipe would also be inexpensive and help improve turbo response whilst making the exhaust sound a bit louder. These additional items would give a very responsive 450 bhp. Wheels are 18" Advan Racing SA3R's which are desirable to some, but we also have some rare and very desirable Panasport G7 C5C forged items of 17 x 9.0J + 18 size - in beautiful unscratched condition which are available inexpensively. Interior: It's very rare nowadays to find a BNR32 interior in such excellent condition. The last owner wsn't a smoker and probably quite small - judging by the interior's lack of wear and ageing throughout. There's a Kenwood hifi fitted with a CD changer in the boot too - Audio is supplied free of charge with this car. Note the mats, gear lever and handbrake gaiters, door trims, roof lining, etc. are all clean and unworn, in keeping with the low mileage this car's covered.
Condition. The bodywork is in outstanding condition and shows signs of having been regularly polished and cared for. As mentioned before this car's been garaged all it's life too. In keeping with the low mileage and to confirm this car's never seen salt the underside is absolutely corrosion free. There's not even the slightest sign of rust around the rear arches - another common R32 GT-R enemy. The front lip spoiler has some scratches on the underside and bottom leading edge and there's a small ding / chip on the offside quarter panel. Also a minor (shallow) scratch on the boot lid, around 3cm in length and a touch up mark on the driver's door handle. Each of these faults is too small to require repainting, but have since been touched in professionally and are now only really visible if looking specifically for them. Note the wheels have some corrosion on the rims. They should be repainted in Silver ideally - we can complete this work if the optional wheels aren't chosen.The jacking points at the front have been pushed in. This is unfortunately a common occurence on around 80% of GT-R's, because the jacking points collapse if the standard jack / trolley jack are used. Only by using a 4 poster hydraulic lift every time the car's taken off the ground can this be avoided, or by jacking on the front cross member, etc.These dents are only visible from the underside however. Inside there's only a couple of minor faults: A non penetrative burn mark on the passenger seat. It's hardly visible and requires no repair. On the dashboard, a TV screen has previously been fitted and left some marks on the passenger side. These have been filled with black silicone already, so aren't easily noticable any more.Note the vertical trim in the boot has been removed. Horizontal board and carpet remain intact.
Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it drives very well. It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Engine idles quietly and smoothly. There's healthy oil pressure (4kg/cm2 at idle when cold and 2.5kg/m2 when at normal operating temperature) at idle shows this is a strong engine in good health. Clutch feels as if it has plenty of life to give the gearbox is notably smooth and trouble free. We test drove this example for around 10 km and found it felt tight and very together. It pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 370 bhp at 0.9 bar. The care / money spent on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has probably never been on a circuit. Total cost of modifications paintwork to this car cost the last owner approx. £12,000 during ownership. All signs show this car has been well loved and modifications selected to enhance the performance whilst remaining usable for daily driving, rather than chasing maximum power.
