Nowadays finding a good R32 GT-R is becoming increasingly harder as time takes it's toll and so few owners give these cars the care they deserve. Destined to become one of Japan's most prized classic cars the good well looked after rust free examples are strenghtening in price as collectors continue to realise pristine examples are becoming a rare breed. This example has been beautifully preserved and is absolutely rust free throughout which means it has original rust free arches, no rust (Not even on bolt heads!) on the front panel, and no hidden chassis rust which is sadly common on cars that have been imported to Europe and not properly cared for). This stunning example will appeal to someone looking for the very best they can get to either keep as is, or to use a great base from which to improve further to own tastes.
Engine Drivetrain Performance improvements have been carefully selected through mature in depth knowledge of the best GT-R RB26 tuning modifications to make a stunningly capable package. These comprise of the best handling, braking and power modifications to maximise high speed drivability, whilst keeping the car running safely through the best cooling modifications available. Fueling is taken care of by a replacement Mine’s VX Rom ECU to give perfect engine control under all conditions from idle cold start - to full higher power. A Splitfire Coilpack Set with a well fitted engine earthing kit help improve ignition efficiency performance. M’s Power Filters (KN) are washable and offer the best filtration combined with minimised flow restriction. A Greddy Racing BOV is neatly integrated into the HKS hard pipe kit. Intercooler is by ARC of highest flow design for high power applications. Simply the best available. A set of FGK Power Getter front pipes have replaced originals to give improved power, combined with an unrestrictive but relatively quiet Fujitsubo Legalis-R Evolution Exhaust system. Samco Radiator Hoses feed coolant to a Mirayama RD Superflow High Capacity Aluminium Radiator. Further cooling is provided by an SFIDA Oil cooler neatly mounted behind the nearside front bumper vents leading via Earl's AN fittings to a remote oil filter mount located on the underside of the car for easy filter changes when draining the oil. An ORC Twin Plate Clutch with plenty of life remaining - reliably transmits increased power. A Nismo rear LSD with V-Spec finned diff cover (For cooling) ensures the inside rear wheel won't spin uselessly when exiting corners during track days. Original Speedo was replaced at 43,011km (Original is supplied with this car) and current 320km/h Speedo shows 33,331km, so total: 76,342km = 47,446 genuine miles only). A Greddy 80mm boost gauge is centrally mounted on the steering column (Can be moved to another location or replaced with a smaller gauge on the A Pilar) if so desired.Omori 52mm gauges for oil temp, oil pressure water temp are mounted in place of originals. Chassis Improvements: The very best suspension available in Japan for road car use has been chosen. Remote reservoir with Independent bump rebound adjustment + ride height Impul - Ohlins Super Coilovers are fitted with Custom Swift Springs. These alone cost in the region of £3,500! Night Pager Tension Rods Front mid mounted under floor chassis braces combined with MF-R Rear Main Member Aluminium Collars, hard foam sill re-inforcement Cusco strut braces together provide a much richer level of chassis control feel at high speed. Brembo F50 front brakes with Aluminium gold Anodised bells are about £3,000 worth and combined with slotted larger diameter rear rotors with Brembo calipers, N1 brake master cylinder, Endless master cylinder brace, Braided hoses DOT 5.1 Racing fluid provide levels of braking power that most GT-R's never get close to due to cost of such conversions.
Cosmetic improvements Wheels are some of the most desirable of all our personal favourite: Enkei RP-F1 17" wheels are of original F1 design with absolutely no scratches on rims (A testament to how carefully maturely this car was driven) are shod with Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 sports tyres lightweight alloy nuts. Locks are also included. Note the genuine Nismo bumper ducts desirable N1 headlights. A Tomei duracon shift knob is also included. Audio consists of an Alpine CD/Radio of 200W power with security removable face. Audio is un-tested and supplied free of charge with this car. We have also fitted a brand-new full set of Nismo floor mats.
Further Improvements available: Although this car needs nothing added, if wanted, there's still more things thenew owner can do to personalise for his own GT-R perfection (We're here to help!). Skyline R32 GT-R's look particularly good with full Nismo body options, so we can supply a front bonnet lip, bootlid lip and side spats - colour coded and fitted, surprisingly inexpensively. If intending to improve performance, we can supply all manner of tuning parts, from a simple Power-FC ECU upgrade with injectors, etc. right through a range of higher pressure turbos, brake improvement, etc. To further modernise the looks of this car, R35 GT-R rear badge,Newera orange Crystal/clear/smoked front indicators and interior improvements such as replacement steering wheel boss, original Nissan alloy pedal covers, etc. We can also supply wilder parts like Abflug or Fujimura Auto front and rear carbon diffusers. Standard equipment includes: Original leather sports steering wheel, ABS, Atessa 4WD, Climate Control A/C, PAS, Central Locking, rear wiper, sports velour seats, etc. This car has evidently been fastidiously maintained. The engine bay, interior, carpets, indicator stalk, pedal rubbers, oil pressure, etc.- all indicate low wear and no abuse.
Interior condition: over 20 years of age the interior is in good condition, but not perfect. Most notable is the lack of discolouration of interior fabric from exposure to UV light, which is common on all R32 GT-R's usually. As with many 32’s, there’s a bubbled section on the dashboard. This can be repaired by a specialist in UK (Injecting Evo Stik glue, spreading with use of light pressure then heating with a hairdryer to soften the vinyl and promote glueing is the usual method of repair. It’s best left to an interior repair specialist – being inexpensive to do). There's a small burn mark on the driver's carpet some cuts (Not round holes!) from a previously fitted 6 point roll cage (Chassis stiffening of a lighter nature was subsequently completed instead by the previous owner). These cuts on the carpet are well concealed and covered by floor mats, so not at all noticable.
Exterior: Bodywork is in outstanding condition showing signs of having been well cared for. In keeping with the low mileage and use in Tokyo area, it's rust free - with none of the rot often found on the rear arches, front suspension turrets, front panel, underside, or anywhere else on BNR32's. This car has never seen salt or muddy roads. If you've looked carefully at GT-R's that have been in the UK for some years learnt where the pitfalls are, you'll know this is an important consideration (We only source corrosion free GT-R's).
We found only minor bodywork faults as follows: The front lip spoiler has been poorly painted after being chipped. Also the front bumper has a few small stone chips. The rear n/s quarter panel has been repainted at some point, but not as perfectly as it could have, so these will be professionally repainted as part of full UK preparation. This car's never had a panel replaced, or anything (Another testament to the care maturity of the previous owner) to indicate accident history.It's as straight as they come. There's a couple of small pin dents on the doors which are really small and not needing of repair, but simply mentioned to provide a full report.
Engine Test Drive: After careful warming and extensive checks we took this car out to test can confirm it　drives very well! It's got strong power and all signs of a well maintained car. Excellent oil pressure (nearly 5kg/cm2 cold over 2kg/m2 when warm) at idle shows this is an engine in good health. Engine has absolutely no signs of wear, it's super smooth too. Clutch feels as if it's got plenty of life the gearbox is notably smooth and lacking in any of the often found signs of synchromesh wear found on these cars. We found no faults to report at all. Car pulls strongly from just under 3,000 rpm with power climbing all the way through the power range and is making approximately 360 bhp. The tightness of it's feel and care / money lavished on it suggests this car was used as a weekend toy and has rarely been on a circuit.
Well over £25,000 worth of top specification tuning handling improvements are fitted to this stunning rust free Skyline R32 GT-R. In parts these cars are worth much more in Japan than supplied as a whole, so it's rare for us to be able to buy them intact like this. Make no mistake - this is one of the best R32's we're likely to have this year. Prices of top examples in Japan continue to steadily strengthen, so we're unlikely to find many more good examples like this going forwards.
