54,388kn (33,802 miles) from new. Dolphin Grey Met. Very rare spec, which we are often asked for, but impossible to predict when we will see one!
Standard Equipment includes: P/S, P/W, Climate Control A/C, remote central locking, hifi, automatic electric aerial, Fitted mats. The car's had lots spent to improve it: Black tinted Windows, Momo Steering wheel, Clear side indicators, Illuminated sill kickplates, alloy gear knob, 17" alloy wheels in excellent near new condition - tyres also nearly new. Veilside front spoiler, standard side-skirts combined with a high quality adjustable rear spoiler (Makes the boot heavier though!). Suspension has throughtfull been left standard - which preserves the new front over speed bumps. Engine bay has been improved with a strut brace, Blitz induction kit and an expensive ARC Alloy air intake section. A stainless steel silencer completes these mind, but well thought of modifications. Sound is improved both in the induction & exhaust - so with better breathing, this car is making roughly 215 bhp now.
The car is of auction grade 4 - and is in outstanding condition. It's not been smoked inside from new. Interior is unmarked. Original air box, induction pipe, indicators and other small parts are included free of charge in the boot of the car. There is a very small scratch/stone chip on the rear passenger-side rear quarter. Some very small scratches on the driver's sill - this is of course normal on ALL FTO's with this accessory. Small stone chips to the front bumper. There are some protective strips on the door edges, which are peeling off at the top - these will be either removed or re-glued into position depending on owner's preference.

(43,724 miles after recalibration). Equipment includes: Limited Slip Differential, FTO Signature seats in blue, Rallyart alloy strut braces, Standard suspension, A/C, Electric mirrors, Central locking, Driver's SRS with Momo Steering Wheel, Power Steering, Fitted mats, Updated interior cloth. This model is also equipped with Aero rear spoiler and updated front bumper. Exhaust is a rare centre mounted dual-exit type and in combination with an alloy induction section and Blitz Filter. On the dashboard is a vacuum gauge. Standard 16" alloy wheels with 4 near new tyres.
Also included is a High Quality SONY CD/Radio unit, car cover, original airbox. These items come free of charge with the car.
Auction grade is 4. It's in superb condition. There are some minor scratches to the front bumper & there are 2 minor pin dents - one on the driver's door and the other on the passenger quarter.

| 1997 (July) FTO GP Version R. Passion red. 80,451 km (50,000 miles) from new. Full spec. rare 5 Speed manual model.
Version R's are the lightest and best performing of all the FTO models. Equipment includes: Limited Slip Differential, Original Rallyart Strut Braces, Lightweight A/C system, Electric mirrors, Central locking, SRS Airbag with Momo Steering Wheel, ABS, Power Steering, RAZO Pedal covers, , Optional Rear Wiper, Cloth central console trim, Fitted mats, Aero rear spoiler and updated front bumper incorporating original option auxilliary lights in the front bumper.
Improvements include: Rays lightweight alloys fitted with 215/40/ZR17 high performance sports tyres. Exhaust is stainless steel - looks very much like a Megaphone item (but without a name on it, we cannot be sure). Sounds excellent combined with the HKS induction kit & exhaust. Breathing mods help to bring out the performance and sound to best effect. - These V6 Mivec 2 litre engines make a sound like no other....It's intoxicating.
Kayaba fully adjustable suspension (Original suspension is included free of charge with this car), TEIN front camber adjustment top mounts. Suspension has been lowered by approx 20mm on each corner, although with the kit fitted it can be further lowered or raised as desired. Current suspension settings give a purposeful stance whilst remaining compliant, comfortable - and making a vast improvement to the handling. The new owner will have the choice of standard, or coil-over suspension - since both are available with this example.
Note: There is no hifi fitted. There are some uprated speakers which appear to be Alpine DDD Drive items, of good quality.
This has been a non smoker's car since new. Driver's seat has been replaced and in place of it is a red BRIDE seat, which is reclinable and allows pasengers to get into the back of the car. Fitted also is a 4 point harness - for asthetic purposes. The original seatbelt for the driver is also fitted.
The driver's seat has a hole worn in the seat upright bolster, on the right side. This seat can either be professionally repaired to bring it back to original condition (Included in price) - or we can source an original driver's FTO seat and get the trim from Mitsubishi to make a complete as-new matching GP Version R black seat. Cost of seat, original cloth trim & re-upholstering to the replacement driver's seat would be likely to cost £380 completed.
Perhaps the best option is to take a used original driver's seat and retrim both front seats in Black Leather, which only costs around £450-£500 in total. This would make the seats look like new and red inserts / piping could be used to match the car, as well as a "Version R" logo. Seat recovering in leather - or original seat swab parts - can be supplied and fitted once this FTO GP Version R arrives to the UK.
There is a 2cm diameter hole on the driver's footwell - from wear & tear - This will be repaired to a decent standard by a specialist in the UK as part of the car's OTR cost.
Wheels are in excellent condition although there are minor scratches on the N/S rims. Tyres are in good condition.
Bodywork is in generally excellent condition as pictures will show. Black plastic edge protectors have been fitted to each door, to protect from chipping. There are 2 small pin dents on the passenger's door and also one on the N/S quarter. There is also a stone chip on the O/S/R corner, by the rear light cluster. The front and rear bumpers each have very minor scratches. Also, each rear quarter has previously been resprayed and although quality of colour match is excellent, there's some rubbing down marks beneath the paint - towards the back. Original headlights have the usual FTO fault of laquer on surface peeling (Picture available). These will need to be re-laquered to bring the surface back to a normal finish. All minor paint faults will be professionally repaired - resprayed to present our car in stunning condition to our usual high standards.
Engine's in excellent tune. It sounds superb! Clutch has plenty of life to give and brakes/discs are hardly worn. This is a car that was not used hard by the previous owner. Note that the oil is still clean from the last service. Wheels, suspension, exhaust and induction kit together cost in the region of £3,700 in Japan. Excellent additions that not only add to the car's asthetic appeal, but compliment it's performance to make this even more of a driver's FTO.
We were able to get this example for a good price, which is why we didn't mind the minor interior damage, as we can pass the car on for an excellent price even after repairing the faults as described. This will be one of the lowest priced FTO Version R's in the UK this year and certainly one of the rarest spec's.

5 Speed manual Mivec FTO's recently tested in Japanese Performance magazine consistently beat the Tiptronic examples for power by 30 bhp+ because MIVECS change up earlier and the torque converters sap power. This example is fitted with a 200 bhp+ 2 litre normally aspirated engine.
The car is of auction grade 3.5. It's been particularly well looked after. These faults are to be fully repaired prior to completion in UK.
There are no MIVEC / GPX stickers on this car, but a set can be ordered of either the plain type, or the colourful type - upon request, as part of OTR cost.
Note, pictures were taken when the car was covered with muddy rain splashes, but auction sheet will confirm it is in immaculate original condition in keeping with low mileage. Rear light panel has been replaced in the past. Repair is excellent. Absolutely not structural.

1997 (March) FTO GP Version R (MIVEC) Facelift (Aero Series).
5 Speed Manual. 77,440km (48,129 miles) from new. PAS, P/W, AC, Momo Steering wheel with SRS driver's airbag, fitted mats, Version R blue front sports-seats embossed with "FTO" on headrests. Alloy strut braces front & rear, Tinted glass, Standard Radio/Casette, 16" standard alloys with 4 good, near new Falken high performance tyres. Stainless steel performance exhaust (Kakimoto Racing) Fitted mats are also included. Version R Models are approx 65kg lighter than GPX models with a lighter Air Conditioning system, Limited Slip Differential and the Aero front nose and rear wing.
Interior is in good condition, although the cigar lighter is missing (This was a non smoker's car). There is a small round cover missing from the boot floor. Also gear lever is an after mkt. polyeurethane sports item, although it doesn't suit the car well. We'll obtain original replacements from Mitsubishi to come with this car. Tool kit and spare wheel are complete.
The car is of auction grade 3.5. There are scratches/poor paintwork on the rear bumper - to each corner. Also 2 key scratches on the N/S quarter and front wing Side skirts each have scratches from heel marks. Passenger door & driver's door each have a small 1 - 2 light pin dents.
These minor paintwork faults will be taken care of as part of the OTR costs - so the car's in immaculate condition upon collection. Also, there is a small sticker on the dashboard and 2 on either side, under the side-repeater. Stickers can be removed easily & completely if owner prefers.
Please note the pictures we have taken are of an unvalletted car. Baked-on brake dust on alloys will be removed, and bodywork presented in gleaming white. White is one of the best colours for FTO's as it reflects light best, showing off the curves all over the bodywork.
Only 750 Facelift GP Version R's were ever made from 1997, so in our usual style, we have bought this rare car for stock, better in stock than not & having to find it later to order, say. Version R's are the FTO's sought by purists, especially as in this form - 5 Speed manual. Version R's are superb driver's cars with an engine soundtrack which will make the hairs in the back of your neck stand. Will FTO's start to lose popularity? Optional & After mkt: Rear Wiper, High Power MC/CD/Cassette/Radio unit, original CD changer in glovebox (May not be compatible with current head unit), Automatic electric aerial mast, after mkt. Unmarked 17" AVS alloys with near new tyres, Dual exit exhaust (JASMA approved, therefore not obtrusively loud), Rear Spoiler, after mkt. The car is of auction grade 4A (A Means better than average grade 4). This car is in superb condition and has evidently been well looked after, looking carefully round the car, the following faults were found, which will be repaired as part of the total OTR cost: There are 2 small stone chips as shown by the passenger side headlamp. There is a small pin dent on the rear corner of the bonnet. There are 2 very small pin dents on each of the rear quarters. There are also some VERY small scratches to front and rear bumpers. These minor faults will be repaired after the car arrives to the UK. Also, one of the exhaust tips has a small dent. We'll have this straightened by our agent in UK of course.
The rear spoiler is an after mkt. item of course. 2 of the original holes either side of the boot lid, which are not used by this spoiler have been covered with turned alloy bolts. Neat job. Inside, condition is immaculate, with no wear to the interior.
The wheels, hifi, spoiler & exhaust on this car are worth approx £3,500 new.

This is one of the very last FTO's manufactured in Japan before production stopped. Mileage is only 20,540km (12,765 miles after recalibration) Specification includes: P/S, P/W, A/W, Climate Control A/C, Remote controlled mirrors with retract mode, remote central locking, Dual SRS airbags with MOMO sports steering wheel, ABS, Updated interior trim, fitted mats.
The car is of completely standard specification. No modifications at all have been added. It has never been smoked in and looks like new inside & out. There are no faults at all to report with the car's bodywork or interior. It's as new.
The only thing we found amis with this car is the fact it's got no hifi fitted. However, price will more than make up for this.

MIVEC controller - enables the revs at which the MIVEC system comes into play. This is simply a way to over-ride the factory settings & gives useful results without any risk of damage whatsoever (Used one in a CRX Coupe V-Tec some years ago to great effect).
Also fitted, is a rear after mkt. “FTO” reflector.
Auction grade is 4. The car’s in near new condition. There is a small scratch on the passenger side-sill cover and a small scratch on the rear passenger side-quarter.

1999 (Feb) Impreza WRX Type R Sti Version 5.
A rare opportunity to aquire one of these rare spec. Impreza Type R's made in Japan - Equivalent to the UK's P1.
Sti 5 (Type R) Spec includes: Blueprinted Sti engine with "at least" 280 bhp, close ratio gearbox (155 mph top speed) with adjustable bias centre differential, Quick Steering rack by Sti (Standard on these), STI 4 piston brake callipers, Momo Steering wheel with SRS airbag, also passenger's airbag. Sti 5 Type R specification includes a revised from bumper, as shown.
Mileage is: 71,969km (= 44,729 miles from new), Usual spec of P/S, P/W, A/W, Optional high quality Kenwood Hifi with CD/Cassette Climate Control A/C, Power Mirrors, central locking, fitted mats, etc. The car is grade 4 has evidently not lived a hard life from it's previous owner. Both interior and exterior are in excellent condition. Intercooler's fins are not damaged from high speed debris & there are no stone chips.A slightly quicker shift lever is fitted to allow more precision. A turbo timer has been fitted, as has an oil temp. gauge, in the centre console, as shown. There is also boost gauge (easily removed, if necessary). Exhaust has a removable rear baffle, to allow better breathing wen desired.
4 Tyres are not of good quality, so they'll be replaced with better ones before completion.

There are some scratches on each bumper and 2 very small (posibly polishable) scrathes on front wing & rear quarter of driver's side. There is asmall pin dent on passenger door & a small stone chip on the bonnet vent. We'll re-spray these minor faults to original finish in UK, so it's as good as new, as part of the OTR price.

1995 (June) MR2 GT Turbo Rev 3 T-Bar.
5 Speed Manual, ONLY 36,432 km (22,642 Genuine miles after conversion) from new. Standard equpment includes:PAS, P/W, Climate control AC, ABS, LSD, SRS Driver's airbag (Original wheel is in the boot, a Nardi after mkt. Wheel is currently fitted), Central Locking, 1/2 Leather & 1/2 Alcantara leather, fitted mats, electrically retractable & adjustable mirrors, removable glass roof panels complete with interior covers and storage bags. (T-Bar glass stores behind the seats when not fitted). A set of clear front lenzes are fitted, which compliment the car well.
This is a very rare colour and mileage is almost impossible to find this low. Pictures of the engine, interior & exterior speak for themselves. This car is in near new condition.
The car has also had some improvements. Dual exit TRD performance exhaust. The air filter has been changed for a performance induction kit from Blitz. Springs are uprated & 20mm lower than standard, though suspension shock absorbers are original. Inside, there is a Blitz Turbo gauge mounted on the driver's windscreen pilar. The Hifi is a top quality CD/Cassette/Radio of high power. It's likely the speakers are also of high quality.
The car is of auction grade 4, which if anything is pessimistic, though a grade 4 from Toyota's dealer auctions - where this car was sourced, is truly excellent anyway. Interior is like near new. This has been a non smoker's car and is shows & smells like it. Exterior is similarly mint, with only one small pin dent on the rear passenger-side quarter to report and a VERY minor scratch to front lip spoiler. Wheels are in excellent condition with nearly new performance tyres from Yokohama of standard MR2 Turbo sizes.
Condition of this car is excellent/ 245 bhp as standard, so expect this one to be making around 260 bhp with exhaust & induction kit.
Examples like this would not be possible to find to order and in 3 years, this is the lowest mileage example we've managed to source and are unlikely to find another as good again...this is an MR2 for the connoisseur, which has been owned from new by one mature owner. The person who gets this car in UK will be delighted, we can guarantee it. Probably the best original Rev 3 MR2 to soon be in the UK.....

1992 (October) Pulsar GTI-R Grey Metallic.
5 Speed Manual, permanent 4WD 2 litre Turbo. Approx 250 bhp. 72,948 km (45,337 miles) from new. Original condition. Rare electric Sun Roof, Orignal Hi-Fi, Usual A/C, PAS, Central Locking, ABS, Electric Windows, Alloy sump guard, rear wiper, Original 15" alloy Wheels (4 good tyres are fitted), Fitted mats. A TV Navigation system is included with this car free of charge, though it'll not work in the UK - the screen can be used for a DVD player, etc.
A few minor performance improvements have been added. On the steering column, is a GReddy Turbo Gauge. There's a C's quick shift gear linkage (Original linkage is in the boot), Alloy front strut brace, Apexi AFC Air Flow Converter (allows fueling to be adjusted to make the car run better - Richer fueling for UK if need be), There is no control to increase turbo boost (Good).
Engine wise, only an HKS Blow-Off valve is fitted, together with an HKS induction kit and an after mkt. exhaust rear section.
The car is of auction grade 3.5 because the driver's side wing has been replaced at some point of the car's life. Close inspection reveals it's not a structural accident, inner wing in original and of course geometry is standard with tyre wear as it should be, etc. It's simply something done quite some time ago, presumably because the wing got dented. Absolutely not anything of concern.
There are light scratches on the front & rear bumpers. There are small pin dents on the front wings and both doors, plus a scratch to the driver side-skirt. All these paintwork faults are to be fully repaired as part of the total OTR cost, but are mentioned herewith for the purpose of being complete about the car's true condition.
What made us decide to stock this example, was because we particularly like the car's condition, especially the interior which is excellent. Seats are unworn with none of the often found cigarette burns, steering wheel is in good condition and the gearlever is also in good condition, with only minor wear to the vinyl gaiter - these points are further evidence that mileage is genuine. A few minor performance/cosmetic improvements have been added. The steering wheel is a Momo item and the gear knob has also been replaced. Alloy "Cusco" front strut brace, uprated exhaust rear section. Note that the engine and suspension are of completely standard tune. The wheels have been replaced with 15" lightweight alloys, presumably good for tight twist corners, where larger 16/17" wheels can actually be a hindrance on these cars. However, they don't really suit the car, so the new owner may want to get replacements in UK.
Note that the interior material is of the improved variety. This is one of the later models also without the umbrella hidden in the door shut - Not fitted to later models such as this. Note also that the front bumper is fitted with 2 driving lights. Looks a neat job too.

Note that the seats are in near new condition in keeping with the mileage. Being a late 1992 model, this example comes without the umbrella hidden in the door shut. We did notice 4 small holes from screws fitted previously to the passenger side of the centre console. Hardly serious and repairable, though mentioned herewith.
Note also that the front bumper is fitted with 2 driving lights which have required holes to be cut into the plastic. The job has been done perfectly - obviously with a lot of care.

2000 (Sept) Honda S2000 V-Tec. 6 Speed Manual.
47,276km (29,382 miles after conversion). Rare BLACK paintwork. Arguably the nicest colour for these in pre-facelift colours. Condition is standard, specification is excellent: Full black leather, Dual SRS, ABS, climate control A/C, Remote controls for the hifi conveniently located by the driver's right hand, Digital instruments (Which work in the sun - no problem), Remote Central Locking & Boot release, electric roof with canvas top in excellent original condition, hifi with Honda Supplied 6 CD Changer in the boot, fitted mats are also supplied.
This car is of auction grade 4.5. Interior is in immaculate condition, with no faults to report. All that we could find on the exterior were a couple of small scratches to the leading edge of front bumper and also a small pin dent to the O/S rear quarter. Both of these are to be repaired as part of OTR costs. We also noticed that the tyres are on the legal limit, so the car will be sold on the understanding that the customer is to order and supply his tyres for fitment by our agent in UK, this way it will be possible for our client to have the tyres he wants, obtained at low mail-order price if need be.
S2000's are one of our personal favorite cars ideal for daily use (We have our own example which we use daily), with excellent build quality, a no-nonsese soft top, excellent structural rigidity, a quality well put together interior and timelessly classic looks. What makes an S2000 most special though, is the superb 6 speed gearbox (Rated by some magazines as the nicest manual gearbox in the world) combined with the Jeckel & Hyde nature of the refined but manic V-Tec 240 bhp 2 litre normally aspirated engine. The gearbox makes use of this engine a joy. We find ourselves enjoying the change -down from 4,000 rpm when cruising, to overtake at close to the 9,000 rpm redline. For purity of a normally aspirated engine at it's best, there's little that can beat an S2000.
It's unusual to be able to buy such a good example for a low price - we know because we are always on the lookout for them as we pound the auction pavements each day - and can rarely buy them. Please don't confuse our 2000 SEPT car for a bottom priced 1999 S2000 in UK.
Our's is a hand picked beauty, not a rough example as often seen & rejected by people in UK looking for a good S2000. Remember, our reputation is strong for very good reasons.

2001 (July) Honda S2000 VGS. 2000cc DOHC V-Tec 240 bhp. 6 Speed. 40,296km (25,044 miles from new). Silver.
Standard equipment includes: Electric Starter button, Electrically operated Canvas roof with electric windows that come down automatically when the roof is folded away (6 seconds). 4 Channel ABS, Dual SRS airbags, Powerful Climate controls just a small reach to the left of the steering wheel, controls for the powerful CD/Radio to the right of the steering wheel, Digital instruments, Light tint on the windows, Central Locking with remote electrical boot release, 16" alloy wheels, powerful HID headlamps on main beam with Xenon full beam units, dual exhaust pipes, Half leather (Conversion to 2 tone full leather, for example Grey & Black - would be approx £350 in UK). This car also comes with fitted mats. There's a Mugen front spoiler also fitted, although if preferred, this can easily be removed to bring back the classic S2000 shape.
This is a VGS model, which is a rare and expensive option from Japan. It has variable assistance power steering, which is also very direct - having only 1.5 turns lock to lock. This means the car has a very sporty feel when driving. Driving one of these ourselves for daily use, this is a car we know particularly well. The gearbox is the slickest and most precise unit on the Japanese market. The engine pulls well at below 6,000 rpm, although once the V-Tec zone is breached, the engine takes on an urgency that sees it pull very strongly all the way to 9,500 rpm. HID headlights are also the latest in development in modern cars. On the S2000 in particular, the beam pattern is very well spread and quality of light so good, we rarely find the need to use full beam. Suspension and handling are firm, yet comfortable - affording excellent grip and handling.
Condition of the interior is immaculate. This has been a non smoker's car since new.
Auction grade of this example is 4. There is a crack on the plastic back window. A new one is available at small extra cost and can easily be fitted by a Honda dealer in the UK. There is a small parking pin-dent on the driver's door. There are some minor scratches to the edge of the fibreglass front spoiler. These minor paint faults are to be repaired as part of the total OTR price. They are mentioned for the purpose of giving a complete report.
In over a year of driving our own, we've not yet grown tired of it. S2000's are beautifully made cars which are quite a lot faster than people would envisage. Driving these in Spring and Summer is the best reason for having one & with Spring and Summer approaching, this is an ideal time to get into an S2000. We're about to enjoy the second year in our's as we haven't yet found anything better to replace it with.
The example available from our stock is a rare VGS model. Usually we cannot touch these, especially for such clean original examples. As such, when we found this one going for a good price, we got it for our stock. Only around 3-4 VGS models with variable assistance direct steering have been exported to the UK.

2001 (April) Lancer Evolution 7 GSR.
Yellow. Under 10,000 miles from new. Comes complete the following usual specification: Anti Yaw, ABS, Dual SRS, Electronically adjustable rear differential (Tarmac / Gravel / Snow), Climate Control A/C, Remote Central Locking, Electric Mirrors with retract mode, Brembo High Power brakes, Quick Steering Rack, Recaro front seats. This car has been trested to some improvements also. The wheels have been changed for forged lightweight 16" items, complete with high performance tyres. A Blitz NUR N1 Exhaust rear section has replaced the original. This gives better top end breathing, without making the exhaust noisy. A removable baffle is also included. An Apexi Induction kit has also been fitted.
The car is of auction grade 4. The following minor faults are to be fully repaired prior to completion for customer collection, but for the purpose of being complete are mentioned: The front bumper has got some minor scratches, which have been touched up. This will need repainting. By the rear pilar on the roof, there is a very small pin dent. Rear bumper has 2 very small chips on it as does the rear driver side wheel arch. Rear O/S tail lenz is cracked and we will therefore supply the car with a new one fitted.
The interior is as new and comes with optional fitted mats, High clarity Sony MP3 head unit and high quality speakers. Usually Evo 7's come without a hifi.
Driving Impressions: The car looks and drives like brand new. Power is clean throughout the rev range and regardless of gear, it pulls like a demented dentist - relentlessly at any given speed. Handling is completely sure footed with a comfortable and compliant ride. Though it's only got the minor modifications described, the car feels as if it's making well over 300 bhp, with the speed at which it accelerates and ease of changing direction. This is due to light weight and suspension which exudes quality. Total poise, goes like a scalded cat, yet remains easily drivable in traffic or towns. If there is an ultimate all round car, this has got to be one of the very best, if not the ultimate.

1999 (July) Lancer Evolution 6 GSR. Silver. 5 Speed Manual.
93,514km (58,119 miles) Usual Extras include: ABS, Dual SRS, Climate Control A/C, Power Steering, Recaros, Central locking, Expensive Hifi head unit with MD/Radio and CD Changer controller. Water Jets to intercooler, Strut braces, etc. Engine is mostly standard, aside from an induction kit (Blitz) , Catalyst replacement pipe & exhaust. Suspension is lowered and fully adjustable & there is also front camber adjustment. The car's been set up to handle well - yet remain supple and not harsh.
Some Samco hoses have been fitted and also some of the vacuum hoses replaced with yellow tubing (Silicone). Inside, are "Defi" electronic Water & Oil Temp gauges and an HKS boost gauge. Extras such as all these come free of charge with the car.
Original suspension springs are in the boot with the exhaust catalyst. 4 original alloys with tyres are inside the boot / back seat. SSR Type C 17" lightweight racing alloys are fitted with Japanese-made high performance street tyres. Front discs are slotted.
Car is of grade 3 only due to above average mileage for Japan. These are the faults to report:
There are 2 small pin dents on each passenger door. Each bumper has scratches and these will need repair. Also one of the front foglights is cracked and needs replacement. These items will be taken care of as part of the total OTR cost. Other observations: Brembo callipers are showing signs of laquer peeling off. In the engine bay, there is some corrosion to the battery bracket. Inside the car, there is a black mark on the driver's seat, where a repair's been carried out. The driver's fitted mat was not found inside the car. Steering wheel has minor wear to the rim. These are all small faults which are not serious, only mentioned for the purposes of being complete.
Had the opportunity, so we took this car for a drive here in Japan. Found the engine to be healthy, strong and willing. Usual excellent acceleration and feel of around 320 bhp.
Good gearbox with no synchromesh problems, plenty of clutch life remaining. Suspension felt firm but supple, almost as if it was standard. Felt like a nice tight car in good running order.

This example has had some well thought out improvements, mostly cosmetic & for handling:
Cosmetic: Ganador Remote Controlled Sports Mirrors, headlamp eyebrows, clear front & side repeaters with red reflectors integrated into the sides of the rear bumper. GT Style Alloy rear spoiler, Nardi Steering wheel (NO SRS driver's airbag, although std. passenger airbag remains).
Performance Enhancements: Blitz air filter, stainless steel exhaust rear section inclusive of a removable baffle, uprated chip in the ECU. A larger butterfly valve has also replaced the original - presumably to give better high rev air flow. A Cat replacement pipe is also included free of charge, currently in the boot of the car ready for shipment.
Handling Improvements: Thick Carbon fibre strut braces, fully adjustable Cusco suspension kit (Incl. ride height), complete with top-mount front suspension camber adjustment, additional unused springs are also included in the boot, complete with original suspension in the original Cusco box. Standard condition. Spec includes: ABS, Climate Control A/C, Limited Slip Differential, 1/2 leather & 1/2 suede, 6 way adjustable driver's seat, PAS, P/W, Light blue tint on the windows, remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode, remote central locking incorporated in the key. Original laquered alloys with 4 near new high quality tyres, original fitted mats. An after mkt. Radio cassette unit is also fitted.
Perfomance wise, there's a free flowing stainless steel exhaust silencer (Single exit - not much louder than std - catalyst is retained), an HKS SPF air filter and a boost gauge fitted. Ignition leads are also upgraded from standard.
The car is of auction grade 4. It's in outstanding condition. Ther's a small dent on the n/s/f wing and a pin dent on the passenger door. There's also one small pin dent on the o/s quarter. Almost too small to notice. These will be repaired as part of preparation in the UK to present the car immaculately.
It's clearly been carefully cherished.Interior has no faults at all to report - with only mild wear to the driver's seat bolster (Picture available). This has been a non smoker's car since new. Possibly the last post Jan 1997 MR2 to be imported to the UK, now that SVA rules have apparently changed as of 1 April 2004.
Standard equpment includes: Limited Slip Differential, PAS, P/W, Climate control AC, ABS, SRS airbags, Central Locking, leather & suede 6-way adjustable sports seats, "MR2" stainless steel sill plates, electrically adjustable mirrors with retract mode. Hifi is Toyota OEM Tape/Radio unit with a 6 CD changer located behind the passenger seat. The head unit has been tidily relocated to the glovebox to make room for performance gauges, boost controller, etc (See below). Please note audio equipment is included free of charge with the car. Note also that Rev 4 models have tinted glass with a hint of Green.
Performance modifications: Garage Fukui - Departure II exhaust, HKS SPF induction kit, HKS SQV blow off valve, Apexi Power FC ECU (Note that no FC Commander unit is included, although one can be obtained for the customer at cost if specifically required), Tom's 1.3 bar radiator cap, Quality coil-over suspension with height & damping adjustability on each corner & Cusco adjustable camber on the front. Suspension is set for a well handling but compliant ride. Original TRD strut braces front & rear. Fitted are Volk Racing TE37 lightweight forged 17" alloys - the strongest and lightest wheels available in Japan. Sports tyres are 1/2 worn with 235/40/ZR17 rear & 215/40/ZR17 on the front. The best modification on this car and one we have never seen before on an MR2 are ALCON 4 piston front brake callipers with uprated and larger than std. front slotted discs and slotted discs in the rear also (Std. size).
Inside: T-Bar SW20's are known to be more prone to flexing than the Coupe models, so the last owner opted to fit a Phoenix's Power chassis strenghtening kit. This comprises of a frame resembling a roll bar behind the seats, with a bar under the T-bar and a strengthening bar on the top portion of the windscreen. There are also some bars that go diagonally front the back to front and also across the floorpan just in front of the seats. Getting in and out and use of the car isn't affected. Typically from the Japanese - a cleverly and well designed kit that enhances the look of the interior and is unobtrusive (Full pictures are available to show this frame). On the passenger side, there's a foot plate beneath the fitted mat. Please note the driver's mat is missing and will not be replaced. The steering wheel is a special TRD SRS airbag equipped item. On the A-Pilar there's an HKS boost gauge mounted in a purpose made pod. Where the hifi would have been located, instead there are HKS Oil Pressure, Water Temp. & Oil Temp. gauges, next to a Trust/Greddy - profec boost controller and turbo timer. All these items have been neatly installed. The original speedometer is recorded in the car's history as having been replaced at 6,052km - with a TRD item.
Interior is in excellent condition with no faults to report, a testatament to the way this car's been very looked after. It's been a non smoker's car since new.
Auction grade is 4 (Copy of auction sheet is available). There's virtually no damage at all to the paintwork. On the passenger door there's a tiny pin dent. Also on the o/s quarter there is a miniscule pin dent. The passenger's door mirror has a small (2cm) scratch. Finally, the o/s/f indicator lenz has a small crack and needs replacement. Each of these faults are to be taken care of as part of UK preparation to present this car to our usual high standards.
With modifications fitted, this MR2's making around 300 bhp with handling and braking to match. It's rare to see a Rev 4 T-Bar Turbo, yet alone one in outstanding condition with such well chosen performance items. 63,821km from new (39,665 miles). Climate control A/C, P/S, P/W, A/W, ABS, 1/2 Leather - 1/2 Alcantara, Factory fitted CD/Cassette, Central locking, Remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode. This car has been owned by a non smoker from new, as illustrated by an unused ashtray & cigar lighter. Mechanical specification is completely standard throughout. The spare wheel and tool kit are unused. This car is of auction grade 4, which is the highest grade given to a car of this age, in Japan.
The following faults are described for the purpose of being complete. We prefer to tell people of the true condition a car is bought in, so they can make an educated decision for themselves. Each of these faults is to be fully & professionally repaired in the UK prior to the car being completed for customer collection:
The front bumper is discoloured as usual for this colour. This is because use of plasticiser makes the paint a different shade. Both front and rear bumpers have small scratches. There is a scratch on the rear N/S wheelarch & another small scratch on the air duct to the aft of the driver's door. The rear driver side quarter has been resprayed at some point to repair a scratch, presumably. The paint quality is not perfect, so this will be re-done also. The wheel cap on the rear passenger side wheel has peeled paint, so this will be replaced. There are 2 small stone chips on the N/S headlight cover, which will be touched up professionally.
The car's interior is in excellent unmarked condition with only very minor usual creasing to the leather on the bolster closest to the driver's door.
Fully repainted above faults, SVA conversions to include odometer recalibration to miles, SVA test, MOT, registration, 6 month's road tax, our set fee of 900 pounds, in addition to costs to import & prepare the car - this MR2 is available for a total OTR price of 7,675 pounds.

Interior is in excellent condition, with no faults to report - this has been a non smoker's car since new. Note that carbon fibre-look sashboard and electric window switch surrounds are fitted. Also, optional (Expensive) recaro seats - same design as on some Supras are fitted, these were a factory option and rear seat trim is tailored to match. Engine is in fine form and there are stickers to show this has been a well looked after example. Timing belt was changed at 92,938km (57,761 miles). This example came from TAA (Toyota Auto Auction), where the best Toyotas are usually sourced. This example has evidently been well loved and looked after. Factory equipment includes: ABS, PAS Electric Windows, Folding Electric Mirrors, Climate Control A/C, Manufacturers Fitted Mats and Privacy rear windows. Also fitted is a rare glass electric sunroof. Modifications include: V's Racing 17" lightweight forged alloy wheels, Blitz Blow Off Valve, Remote controlled engine Start/Stop, Full Varis body kit consisting of front and rear bumpers along with side skirts all in immaculate condition with none of the usual scrapes to the front valance or side skirts, due to the cars' standard ride height. The exhaust rear section has been changed for a Materas Stainless Item - this gives a quiet yet sportier sound than standard.
The interior follows the same pattern of purity, having been a non-smokers car from new. The only non-standard items to the interior being a Momo Steering wheel, a turbo timer and the remote starter - which allows the engine to be switched on and off from a distance.
Also included is a factory option Cassette/TV/Radio deck with 10 disc CD changer in the boot. On the rear hatch are mounted (attached with double sided tape) a pair of TV aerials on each corner. Audio equipment comes free of charge with this car. The TV unit will require conversion in the UK to work with UK channels. It would be better to change this for a UK hifi, or - If preferred, the TV aerials and unit can be removed completely and we can supply a high quality double DIN used Hi-Fi for a small additional cost.
Mechanically, the car is in fine form and looks to not have lived a hard life at all - Brakes, Clutch, etc. all show signs of low wear. The body of the car confirms this with none of the stone chips associated with a car driven hard here in Japan.
>From having test driven it, we can confirm this car feels good and 'tight' to drive, with none of the usual wear to the front suspension joints as in commonplace in less maintained GT-4's. It handles progressively and has a comfortable ride. The engine pulls cleanly and strongly - maintenance clearly having been high on the previous owners list of priorities. This car has recently been serviced. On boost the uprated stainless steel rear silencer gives a mildly louder than standard sound accompanied by a characteristic release of pressure as the throttle is released, as the Blitz dump valve does it's work.
Auction grade for this car is grade 4 (Auction sheet available). The Bodywork is in outstanding condition with small scratch to the o/s/f wing, 2 small pin dents to the O/S/R quarter panel, a 2 inch scratch to the N/S front door, and a single stone chip to the front bumper, all of which will be professionally repaired as part of UK preparation. There are very minor scratches to two of the wheels although these are so small they're very difficult to see. All paintwork faults will be invisibly repaired to high standard.
It should also be considered that this car had not yet been polished or valetted in the pictures, so will look even better in the flesh.
Toyota is not expected to make another Celica GT-4 ever again, certainly never a 4WD turbocharged model in this guise.
Facelift GT-4's are extremely rare cars in Japan yet alone in the UK, especially a well cared for example such as this with low mileage, V's 17" forged alloy wheels accompanied by an original full Varis bodykit.

2000 (March) Celica VVTi TRD Sports M. 23,270km (14,462 miles) from new
6 Speed (Close Ratio) manual with limited slip differential. Equipment includes: PAS, P/W, ABS, Dual SRS, driving lights integrated into the front bumper, CD/Cassette/ Radio, lightly tinted windows, fitted mats, rear strut brace, 16" alloy wheels, in a dark Grey colour, in keeping with the original spec of this particular model.
Likely to be only the second TRD Sports M in the UK, this is a very rare specification of Celica.
This is a model had-assembled by Toyota Racing Development, A, B & C pillars are seam welded - to maximise body stiffness and in addition, sound proofing is kept to a minimum, resulting in a kerb weight of approx. 1,000 kg.
The engine is blue-printed and factory built by TRD, with high performance camshafts, TRD induction kit, uprated exhaust and a mildly tweaked ECU producing 200 bhp @ 7,600 rpm and 139 lb ft @ 6,800 rpm. Rev limit is 8,500 rpm. Suspension is also improved - in this case with TEIN fully adjustable coil-overs, to give a firm but compliant ride whilst giving maximum control to keep corner speeds high and allow full use of the TRD engine. Anti Roll bars are also supplied from the factory, as TRD uprated items.
Bodykit is genuine TRD, made of ABS plastic - ideal to combat against stone chips, due to it's softness - and includes a front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear velence and boot mounted spoiler. Even the bonnet is lightweight alloy, with a subtly larger scoop compared to other models. The single previous owner also opted to have an original set of sonar reversing sensors which emit an audiable warning when objects are close by.
Interior is in unmarked condition and has blue TRD front suede seats, a colour coded steering wheel and matching TRD steering wheel & gearknob. The bright blue steering wheel may not be to everyone's taste - but thankfully, a standard black Steering wheel isn't too expensive to replace it with, if necessary, or even less costly would be to have the existing steering wheel retrimmed in the UK. The instruments are also TRD, with a white tachometer, amongst dark grey gauges surrounding it. As standard, this car is also de-restricted.
Auction grade of this example is 3.5 due to the car having had paintwork before to the N/S quarter. Quality is good, although not up to the same standard of the rest of the car, so we'll have this re-laquered, or flat & polished to bring it to an exact match of finish. Front spoiler has minor stone chips, also there's a small scratch on the rear bumper corners, which will again, be repainted to perfection.
Arguably prettier and more desirable than an Integra Type R, which this car is built to compete with (Also around £3,000 less costly) - This car drives beautifully - the engine is demented above 6,000 rpm and handling is progressive and very entertaining - whilst remaining subdued and almost normal looking except to the people who know. The car is of auction grade 3, simply because mileage is nearing 100,000 km. Note that at time of pictures being taken, the car was not polished, washed or prepared. We have personally checked the car thoroughly, especially around the bodywork. There is in-grained grime on the paint and this shows, especially - when photographing a white car. This is from not having been waxed for a considerable time. We polished a small section to test - and as already knew, the paintwork beneath is perfect and comes up very shiny - So we'll have the car professionally polished in the UK.
Minor Faults: There is a scratch on the front N/S wing. Also, the front bumper is scratched on the lower regions. The rear quarter on the O/S has one tiny pin dent. The rest of the exterior is perfect. We noticed 2 of the wheels are scratched on the edges. We'll have the rims refurbished to look as new in UK, and paintwork faults described above rectified to make the car spotless. Note also: The timing belt is due for a change at this mileage, so we will also have this carried out when the car's being prepared. In effect - this GT-4 will be absolutely immaculate to our usual high standards upon completion.

The car is of auction grade 3, simply because the passenger-side rear panel has been replaced at some point. We have checked the car thoroughly, especially around this area and can report that shutlines are perfect, as is paintwork finish. When the boot is opened, checking the difference between panels it is inly possible to see a tiny difference in paint, sealant, etc. are virtually identical both sides. In fact it's so good, it's virtually indestinguishable, although mentioned herewith for the purpose of giving a complete and accurate description. Note this is NOT an accident grade car, however - there has never been structural damage to this car. Had this panel not been replaced, this would have been a grade 4 car.
There is a light scratch on the front passenger side wheel arch. There are two pin dents by the N/S door. On the driver's side, there are 3 small pin dents on the
rear quarter and a scratch on the door. There is a very small scratch on the rear bumper. These small faults are to be repaired as part of the total OTR price, after the car arrives to the UK -so it'll be presented in immaculate condition upon completion.
GT-4's were made in small numbers in 1998/99 at which point production stopped. Toyota is not expected to make another GT-4 again, due to WRC rules & regulations. This is therefore a rare chance to have one of the last GT-4's made.

Black. 5 Speed Manual. 104,325km from new (64,838 miles - Note timing belt was changed religiously at 99,798km). Equipment includes: Optional "Super Live Sound" CD/Radio/Cassette, Remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode, Electrically adjustable driver's bolster and back support, P/S, P/W, A/W, fitted mats, etc.
This car has never been smoked in and the interior is in as new condition. Tool kit & spare wheel are similarly unused. Note the steering wheel, for example - which shows nearly no wear. The wheels are unscratched, though they're fitted with some snow tyres, which will need to be replaced with standard tyres as part of the OTR total cost. This is a car which exudes having been meticulously maintained and not driven hard, judging by the lack of stone chips and the car's condition.

97,000km 61,000 genuine miles after odo. recalibration) from new. Facelift Red. Toyota OEM Optional side skirts & rear valence sections, ABS, TRC, P/S, P/W, Central Locking, fitted mats, optional reclinable Recaro seats, Remote controlled door mirrors with retract mode, Standard Cassette player with Toyota CD changer in the boot (Cassette inside), fitted mats. This model also comes with the uprated Supra brakes. The last owner saw fit to install a PIAA HID Headlamp conversion, costing around 500 GBP equivalent in Japan. Aside from that, the car's completely standard. Note that facelift 17" alloys with standard size 235/45/ZR17 & 255/45/ZR17 tyres are fitted. Rubber is near new too. Note also that a rear sun visor is fitted.

What strikes us is the condition this car is in. Interior is like new, with not even any wear to the steering wheel. Carpets perfrctly clean, not a scratch to the interior trim, perfect. 1998 (July) Celica GT-4 Facelift model.
5 Speed Manual, 84,300 km (52,392 miles).
Equipment includes: Facelift interior, HID Headlamps, updated ABS system, Dual SRS Air Bags, Sony MD/CD/Radio High Power Hi-Fi, Central locking, Electric mirrors with retract mode, A/C, PAS, electric windows with mild tint, fitted mats. Facelift alloy wheels fitted complete with near new tyres are fitted. Note also the facelift rear lights.
Mecnahical specification is completely standard throughout. There is a WRC Style rear spoiler fitted.
Interior is in excellent condition, with no faults to report - Inside is in near new condition.
Engine is in fine form. There is plenty of wear remaining on the clutch & brakes too. This is an example which has not lived a hard life.
The car is of auction grade 4, which is the best grade for a 1998 GT-4 of this mileage. An example which has evidently been well loved and looked after.
There is a light dent/scratch on the rear passenger side arch. On the driver's side, there are 2 small pin dents. These small faults are to be repaired as part of the total OTR price, after the car arrives to the UK - so it'll be presented in immaculate condition upon completion.
GT-4's were made in small numbers in 1998/99 at which point production stopped. Toyota is not expected to make another GT-4 again, due to WRC rules & regulations.
