This GT-R was bought to custom order specifically for one of Newera's customers & is one of the last generation 33's manufactured in 1997.
Having been beautifully looked after and modified with considerable experience & thought, it has been driven only 85,649 km (53,231 miles) from new.
Fast road & track tuning has been completed regardless of cost. I.C.S. Yokohama, a specialist in GT-R's was responsible for all the tuning work using top quality parts & close attention to detail. This R33 GT-R V-Spec is only the second example we've bought this year. As with all the Skylines we buy, we only select very special cars that meet our exacting requirements. This is one of the most beautiful, lovingly kept and best equipped R33 GT-R's we've come across in a long time and so in spite of the consistently poor value of Stirling, we bought it - partly from a passion for only getting the very best and from knowing there's a discerning customer out there who like us appreciates a car like this is a far better investment than what's typically available in Europe.

In the early 1990's when Nissan created the Figaro and other icons (Such as the Skyline R32 GT-R) the Japanese economy had reached it's peak and the bubble economy was still in full swing. The Figaro was designed by Shoji Takahashi as part of the Nissan special project's team (Pike factory) to celebrate their 50th anniversary at a time when selling cars at a loss wasn't necessarily a concern by their bean counters. Originally only 8,000 were planned but this was extended to 20,000 total - to become what would be the best retro-styled car ever created. This car was sourced specifically for a customer who wanted a well modified, well prepared Silvia PS13 - for drifting in the UK. It's his second car from us (His daily driver's an R34 GT-R Skyline!) He has been delighted with this example sourced for him:
Performance Modifications: A K&N air filter feeds fresh air to the Blitz front mount intercooler. An HKS dump valve is also fitted. Injectors are Purple, which indicates they're most likely 550cc items, as standard on an SR20 units are mustard coloured. The exhaust consists of an enlarged 80mm JIC down pipe along with a cat replacement pipe and a straight through type rear silencer. The MG RV8 requires little introduction to classic MG enthusiasts as the last and best of the breed, produced in limited numbers between the end of 1994 till 1997.
This particular example was registered in Japan in March 1998 and is believed to have been the last one produced for export to Japan. It's been meticulously maintained, rarely used and always garaged to preserve it in the as new condition you'll see in the pictures shown on our website's stock information. Make no mistake - this is an absolute collector's gem. In 10 years of purchasing RV8's for discerning buyers in UK we haven't found a better example.

The MG RV8 requires little introduction to classic MG enthusiasts as the last and best of the breed, produced in limited numbers between the end of 1994 till 1997. Only around 300 were officially sold in UK with most of production imported to Japan. Unfortunately the majority haven't been well looked after - and so the norm is to see examples with damaged veneer, poor quality paintwork, rust from being sat outside for 15 years (Windscreen frames are especially prone to rot and roofs often leak as they age - leading to rotting of the floor). This example has absolutely zero corrosion throughout.
